Disable the notification of annoying mail?

Every so often, AOL Mail displays a message that my AOL password for one of my accounts has not been entered correctly. This is not true, as I am able to access the e-mail in all my accounts.

I think it is a question of AOL, as has happened on more than one Mac for a long time. I normally just dismiss this message when I go to the post office.

However, El Capitan was actually a big problem by popping the message from time to time in the corner of the HEART of my screen, blocking my vision on the part of the office. Since this is a fake message in any way, I would like to disable just this particular notification. Is it possible to do? Thank you.

Go to the Apple Menu > System Preferences, and then when open system preferences, click Notifications.

Select the application you want to disable notifications for here.

THIS PROBLEM IS WHEN CONNECT BLUETOOTH TO YOUR COMPUTER KEYBOARD, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR KEYBOARD, BUT IT IS FEATURES RATHER USELESS INCORPORATED BY THE MANUFACTURER OF THE COMPUTER.
IF YOU HAVE A DELL, LENOVO OR ANY OTHER BRAND, YOUR SOLUTION CAN BE OF THE USELESS "" QUICKSET. "." EXE"PROCESS.

WELL, after days of looking for a specific response from VAIO, finally I came with a solution for VAIO users whose computer is equipped with a receiver to blue tooth ATHEROS.

1 - type "regedit" in Start-Run menu to open your registry database.
    2 - navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ATHEROS\VistaAddOn\KBNotify
    3. - the value of '0 '.
Close regedit, restart your computer and you're done.
Be careful not to change anything else in your registry, unless you know what you're doing.
FIND THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION TOOK ME SEVERAL HOURS, SHAME ON MICROSOFT AND SONY, IT IS THE MOST STUPIDEST USELESS FILM THAT I HAVE EVER MET.
If your bluetooth receiver isn't ATHEROS, simply look for the brand name of your receiver instead of 'ATHEROS' and look for a similar register, it may look like 'BTTray', 'BTNotify' or similar.
    Good luck

  • Impossible to disable the notification app on Apple Watch 2

    Hello

I recently bought a new series of Apple Watch 2, which comes with the watch as 3 preinstalled OS. I know that all my notifications in instant messaging (whatsapp, wechat) have been reflected on my Apple Watch. I find too boring and I want to turn it off. I followed the instructions (go Apple Watch app on the iphone paired, then notifications, search for the application and then turn off 'iphone mirror'), but it did not work. Notifications will always appear on my watch for these two applications. The only way I can get rid of the notification is to change the style of alert iphone to "none" for both applications. But this way I get the banner on iphone or which is not acceptable.

    So my question is:

    1. What is the settings "mirror iphone alerts" in the menu of notification of Apple Watch app supposed to do? He seems to have no effect at all?
    2. This notification of iphone mirror setting OS level control or that something must be supported by the application in order to have the effect? In other words, if it's a bug, is a watch OS bug or a bug in the application?

    Thank you

  • How can I disable the notifications of new CNN?

Since I upgraded my iMac to El Capitan I received notifications of banner in the upper right. It doesn't bother me when I hear about the updates of the computer, the e-mails and things of this nature. However, I despise the work offline and suddenly have some headline news obnoxious suddenly pop up on my work. I want to see the news, I will go online and watch, not pushed him into my throat. Unfortunately, the only settings I can find in the notifications turn off everything. I don't want to turn off ALL notifications, just the invasive CNN newsfeed. Is there a way to do this?

If you're using Safari, go to Safari > Preferences > Notifications and CNN set to "deny".

If you have installed a CNN application you should be able to control if just that app provides notifications in system preferences > Notifications, select the application on the left (assuming that it is registered) and adjust its parameters using the checkboxes on the right.

  • Keys levers for Caps Lock and disable the notification no longer works with updates; How to re - activate

This isn't a general volume, or volume mixer, etc.  It is specifically about the ease of use section, toggle its opinion to the subsection 'Caps lock' 'ON' or 'OFF' - did not notice at first so I don't know what update was specifically involved, or when it happened: tried to follow this exit and can not.

Most often useful with word processing and the composition of the e-mail, tenders, etc.  which I am not, did not have a lot of recently - mainly on work outside when the humidity and temperatures and precipitation allowed this summer and early fall.

As I read the instructions, under the same scenario, I should be able to 'turn' on the notification of the NumLock key caps lock for five seconds (it doesn't) or I could have the option always on (the second of the two options) that I chose.  Now when I click on the first and leave the second uncontrolled, or when I check them all, press 'apply' and press 'Close' nothing happens and when I will return to this screen or the other or both controls are are more verified.

    Hello

I'm not sure what you mean by "Rocking sound Notification", but it seems that you are referring to the "ToggleKeys" setting. If so, you can check the accessibility of your computer settings and activate the ToggleKeys. To do this, follow the steps below:

    1. Click the Start button
    2. In the search box, search Control Panel
    3. Select ease of access
    4. Click change how your keyboard works
    5. Check the box (turn the ToggleKeys)
    6. Click apply , and then click OK

  • BlackBerry Smartphones has way to disable the Notifications screen?

Before I can get by email or phone on my BlackBerry, I must first click OK several times to dismiss the calendar to display notifications. Is there a way to disable these notifications?

I use mainly my BlackBerry during the day, so accumulate calendar notifications. Then in the evening I want to check emails or make a quick call. I wake up the BlackBerry and am forced to click OK several times to remove all notifications of calendar before I can read an email or make a call. I would like to disable this function of "convenience".

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi mikerisner and welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums!

To turn off notifications, go to your calendar, press the menu key and choose Options. Select the calendar you want to disable. Change the option to display reminders to no. that will eliminate pop-up reminders on your BlackBerry for this calendar.  If you have reminders of several calendars, for each affected.

    Hope that helps!

  • Disable the notification that has been enabled in the code from an old script in Extendscript

Not knowing much about notification, but believe that I would do nothing that could not be undone, I experimented with the help of notification in an old script (which I will call oldScript.jsx for reference) to (have my script) learn when a document or a book has closed.  The line of code I inserted in oldScript.jsx was:

Notification (Constants.FA_Note_PostQuitDoc, Constants.FA_Note_PostQuitBook);          Register of notifications

I also added a stub for the handling of the recall notice.  I didn't get far enough to write the callback code.

I added some oldScript.jsx to the folder C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker10\startup and FrameMaker.  Having decided that I didn't want to sign up for notifications, I removed the record above line (and the strain of reminder Manager) and renamed the newScript.jsx script (and place it in the startup folder after deleting oldScript.jsx in the startup folder).  Now, I get the following message if poster at any time a document or book gets closed:

Notification error: cannot open file. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker10\startup\oldScript.jsx.

No idea how to unsubscribe notifications so that I no longer clutter up my console with instances of the above error message.  Note that oldScript.jsx is no longer in the startup folder.  A persistent entity associated with FrameMaker (or maybe Windows?) has retained the notification of registration I'd like to kill.  Any short resettlement FrameMaker help would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Paul

Hi Paul, go to file > Script > catalog and click on the Autorun option and saved boxes. Do you see something suspect or notice? -Rick

  • Disable the notification of El Capitan?

Hello. From time to time a notification on the Apple store appears on my screen (in front of what I'm working on) asking me to upgrade to OS X El Capitan. I am able to click on 'no' and get rid of him, but I would like to stop from popping up in total. Is there a way? (I've updated software configured to manually check.)

This solution was published in Macintouch earlier:

A couple of years, Apple issued a software update for 10.6 (Snow Leopard), 10.7 (Lion) and 10.8 (Cougar) systems, called "Mac App Store Update 1.0". It was a somewhat vague description on improving the App Store.

One of its features is that it installs a "Bulletin Board" mechanism on the systems of 10.6 and 10.7, which periodically checks with Apple to see if there are messages to display. If there is no messages, they appear as an alert in the middle of the screen. 10.8 had added a similar mechanism, but it has been implemented differently and using Notification Center to display the message. The equivalent of 10.8 implementation is integrated to 10.9 and later systems.

Apple initially used this to push reviews for the upgrade to the latest OS X (which was at that time the Mavericks), at a pace that seemed to be once a month. I was not very attentive to the model, but I have a few Macs still use older systems, and my gut feeling is that Apple made the rate of reviews appearing as the mechanism was introduced.

The mechanism has nothing to do with the software update or App Store checks the updates, and there is no user setting to disable.

On systems of 10.6 and 10.7, this should turn it off for the current user:

    launchctl unload w /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.noticeboard.plist

    Who enter in Terminal.
