Disable the touchscreen in the operative part of Windows 8, but no entries of digitizer pen

Currently, I bought a tablet of 10 Lenovo's Thinkpad.

When you use the stylus to the digitizer to write using Windows Journal for example, I keep getting unwanted tickets at the touch of the hand.

I noticed from previous posts that you can disable touchscreen input manually by disabling the device corresponding through Device Manager.

Is it possible to disable the entry of the touch screen, while keeping the digitizer input active in Windows 8?

Kind regards

Alan

I don't know who, but I know that newspaper is deprecated in favour of OneNote, which has a Tablet and a desktop version freely available on all platforms. There rejection button better and more modern, you can try it.

At the same time, I had disabled the automatic updates of windows and updated on demand by opening windows update.  Where is the place to activate and deactivate the automatic updates of windows.

    It worked.  Thank you!

I wasn't able to get automatic updates to download a microsoft windows update.  The fix for microsoft in default mode indicated that he needed to be repaired and that fixed it.  When windows update was used again the update has failed once again.  The fix even that it was then run in aggressive mode and with a recheck has failed to correct the problem.  At each restart, automatic updates took the time to start producing a yellow shield and then pop-up reminders.  So thank you to help us with these questions to disable the automatic updates of windows.

Thanks for posting the results of your efforts, I don't know they will be read and appreciated.

How can I start my computer without the need to choose the operating system where there is only windows 7?

    Dean,

    Thanks for your efforts.

I finally found a solution thanks to eHow.com.

I had to modify the boot configuration data store by adding the line:

    ' bcdedit/set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu not.

It took me a few tries because I did not wait for a response after having been first published (impatient, I guess).

    It works fine now.

    Thanks again.

  • How to temporarily disable the touch screen in Windows 8? TouchSmart 320-1122la

    TouchSmart 320-1122la

    64 bit of Windows 8

This solution does not work for me because I don't have the option "Use your finger as input device."

Go to the sounds and then hardware and Control Panel.

Select the Pen and Touch and go to the contact tab.

At the top is "Use your finger as input device."  Uncheck the box.

Click apply and then click OK.

    Is there another solution?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have a HP TouchSmart 320-1030, so it can work on your TouchSmart:

    1. Press Windows + X logo.
    2. Select Device Manager from the list.
    3. Click on the small arrow next to Interface devices to expand the list.
    4. Click the touchscreen driver (in my case, Voltron NextWindow touch screen).
    5. Right click and select disable from the list.
    6. Click Yes in the dialog box that asks you if you are sure you want to disable the touch screen driver.

When you want your touchscreen to work again, follow the above procedure, EXCEPT when right-clicking on the touch screen driver, select enable.

  • disable the shortcut keys in Windows 8?

First of all, I think that Windows 8 is the biggest mistake since the new Coke - but whatever it is, I'm stuck with it on my HP laptop. I found the software Shell to bring up my menu good ol' start ', but what I hate more than anything, it's a) SEDUCES *, it pops up when you want, but when you want it - cannot b) when I type and use the Y key, random CHARMS * appears and I have to stop working , then click on elsewhere in my document to close and return to my document/email. I found ShellClassic to address the frustration of the start menu, but I can't find why or how to solve the key problem of Y. I installed SkipMetroSuite which helped a little, but it doesn't - I have to reinstall every time I read MS has found a way to kill him - thank you to win my professional and social life on my new laptop of his life *.

When I type and use the button Y, randomly CHARMS * appears

It looks like a hardware problem.   So, what kind of mouse you have?   If it's a touchpad, consider getting a real mouse and disable the Touchpad.   So the only way the charms bar would appear is when you moved your pointer to a wing or pressed Win - C (or a more specific keyboard shortcut that opened a particular "charm").   The latter is the most reliable method to use the "charms" (without reliable touchscreen support) IMO.

  • Disable the UAC in VISTA window

    Hello

How to disable UAC in Windows Vista using LabVIEW Control window?

I did this VI (see attached). This VI works, if I have manually disabled the UAC window (regedit: "Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System - EnableLUA = 0 [DWORD]) of the control panel or regedit.

If I run my VI on a computer that has ON UAC, I can't open the registry key. Although, if I manually go to regedit and
change the variable windows EnableLUA to zero and restart the computer.
Then, I'll be able to control this LabVIEW registry key.

    Is
It's kind around to disable UAC only with LabVIEW. This means,
is it possible to change the EnableLUA variable Windows when I
    previously, I have UAC running?

    Thank you

    Hi JPLO,

If you run your VI as long as limited or in admin approval mode user, I expect not to be able to disable admin approval mode. Try right-clicking on the LabVIEW icon in the Start Menu and select "run as Administrator" and then run your VI.
