Disabling individual helmet catch

Recently I started having a problem where the headphone jack on the front of my PC will cut to. I thought "no problem, I can use one at the back of the computer" However when making cuts in and out it interfere with the sound of my other ports as well, so I was wondering if there was a way to disable just the headset before taking?

    Hello @BubuBaby,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Notebook PC 11 workflow and settings of Touchpad not working not properly. You can disable the popup of charms by right-clicking on the desktop go to properties. In the properties of Navigation window and the taskbar, click the Navigation tab and uncheck the box - when I point to the upper right corner, show the charms.

Here is a document on how to troubleshoot the Touchpad, if you need it.

If you proceed to the section setting of TouchPad pointing the sensitivities it should help solve the problem. Enable or disable individual gestures by clicking the check box next to each item. A check mark in the check box indicates that the gesture is turned on.

Hope this fixes the Touchpad settings.

    Thank you.

  • The reactivation of helmet

I turned off my helmet by accident. Every time I have it plugged in the headphones, two configuration windows appears and it's boring. In order to get rid of the pop ups I have disabled the helmet. The speakers work fine, but I prefer to use the helmet. I need to re - activate the headphones, but I don't know how. Can someone help, please? Oh, by the way I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop.

Thanks for the correction Mr.Tillman. I wasn't totally sure that options to choose from, obviously. In any case, I was able to get it figured out on my own by trial and error. If someone asks you a question similar to mine, I wanted to just so much for them you know I got to control panel Realtek HD Audio Manager. After selecting that, I get the pop up framework mentioned above. Once there go to the top right of the box and you will see a very low until the click folder icon. Then check the box.

  • Disable the actions of movieclip

Here is my little problem. I have a movieclip that can be hidden on a button click (and another clip shows on it) of the user, but the thing is that, even after having been set to _visible = false, I can always click the 'invisible' buttons (in fact they are MC with onRelease actions).

So my question is: how to disable the MC the so that nothing can be done in it? Note that there is no drag actions, actions over 20 buttons and others in the movieclip... so there is much too much to disable individually...

    I tried:

_root.myMc._visible = false; OK, my MC does not appear

_root.myMc.enabled = false; Does not, buttons can still be clicked

    Thank you!

This works for the buttons and movieclips with event handlers. If this is not it. Well all that you assign onRelease event handlers to have its property enabled set to false.

And if something is invisible you will not be able to click on it. Unless you set the zero alpha, but keep it's a visible property as true. In this case, you can click on the hidden things.

  • Font managers of the RAM and fonts

    Hi all

I feel that the ability to enable and disable individual fonts using font (font book or third party) management software is designed to eliminate RAM memory (or at least somehow the unloading of the treatment of the Mac).

I also believe I read that he mentioned somewhere that all fonts placed in the user/Library/Fonts location are always active in the RAM, and this is perhaps why it is important to not just throw hundreds of fonts in this folder.

    I wonder:

    -If above are true?

-If you use third-party font management software to disable a font placed in the folder User/Library/Fonts eliminates actually he RAM memory (as is probably for policies outside the system of appointed police records)?

-If none of this is true, then why even should we use font management software to disable or deactivate fonts - why not just let them all turned on if they are not in the RAM?

I want to make sure that I fully understand. I hope that this will help me make more informed decisions about my workflow of font management.

I'm under El Capitan 10.11.6, although I don't think that this specificity is relevant.

    Thanks for the informed answers!

I don't think you are quite correct, I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong but here is my assessment of the situation...

All installed or active policies are not loaded in RAM at startup because it would be than a useless on memory limited to Macs. System fonts will be loaded into memory as they are usually required.

I believe that certain police functions get cached, such as previews of the fonts that are used in some applications, these selection committees are often written cache files stored on the drive that I can tell.

Installation and activation of the thousands of fonts may cause some problems as apps may need to generate previews of these fonts - for example MS Word has its own custom selector of fonts that use the real font for names selection. Some design apps can analyze or search fonts when opening certain documents with the related font styles. Other applications such as TextEdit, Mail system use based Gatherer so that they benefit the plan puts large fonts in cache.

The reason of FontBook is to assist in the management of fonts. OS X uses the 'library' system to allow multiple levels of abstraction, by example/System/Library is for OS-level files (stuff own apples), / library of the third parties who rely on the scale of the support system, ~/Library for user specific files. There is even in charge of resources to be stored in/Network/Library for use with a server on a WAN.

Manage all this complex without a central application. In my view, that order preference is the user on the highest levels, so your own user fonts folder is selected on the system if you named the same way fonts. Part of the idea is also that you can export fonts in your own home library without affecting the other users of the system.

Third parties also have police managers this attempt to 'do the right thing' based on what documents and applications you use. These are for most major design offices that use custom fonts or is needed to deal with versions of specific fonts, variations and even if the fonts are licenses for specific customers etc.. Fonts dynamically loading & unloading can cause headaches depending on what software you use.

I do not think that average users need to think about fonts on OS X (beyond adding their favorites occasionally), you may be overthinking it unless you're in lots of design work.

If you are concerned about running out of RAM, you probably need to install more, get a better Mac or run applications less. Just keep in mind what OS X tent now to use all the RAM available most of the time if not what is the point of installing it?

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I know have a problem with the wallpaper on your iPhone, it's not what you expect. The good news is that the next step will be useful to solve your problem by activating the Motion option reduce, as suggested in this article:

  • Notification Center and calendar

Hi, I want to be interrupted by the notification Center.  So I turned on the do not disturb from 00:00 to 23:59.  However, this disables the calendar alerts, I love to appear on the middle of the screen with a sound that accompanies it (as he did in Snow Leopard).  Is it possible to disable the notification Center without disabling the calendar alerts?

    Thank you, Mike.

You can disable individual applications in system preferences > Notifications. Select each application that you do not want to appear and uncheck options or select the alert style as none.

  • Bug? Skype puts my volume quite rudely

I use Skype as an IM glorified like everyone else these days, when one of my contacts suddenly decides to disconnect. I added a lot of people on Skype, so what happens quite often.

Skype cuts my music player for awhile just so that he can play a beep of disconnection. No, Skype, not cool. However, I realize that I had to work around another Skype bug by nuking my Skype profile, so I go into settings and turn off "allow Skype to automatically adjust levels of my mixer. Apply, close, everything is done.

Then it happens very next time someone signs outside. WTF Skype?

Accepted answer the root question is that I tried that did not work. I went earlier for the approach a little more nuclear disabling individual sounds altogether, and I'll report with whether or not it works.

It suddenly became much more of a priority for me - it's embarrassing when I'm listening to music, but when I watch a video, it is paused the video too!

Edit: It worked! In addition, accepted the wrong solution. Please can someone with the power he works up to a post?

  • Windows Mail could not be started because another instance of it is still running on your computer

When I start Windows Mail I get this message.

    {Windows Mail could not be started because another instance of it is still running on your computer.} Please log off of Windows, and then restart Windows Mail. If the problem persists, save your work and restart your computer.}

I'm trying to find the instance that is running, but I can't find anything running. I have to restart my computer to make it work.

Can someone tell me how to solve this problem?

You can disable individual startup items in a selective way and eventually found the culprit.  If you have Windows Desktop Search installed, go to control panel | Filtering options and disable indexing WinMail.  Also, if you have a mail gadget in the sidebar, remove this.  Antivirus software can also screw up things, seewww.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

Steve thank you very much for your help. I would also like to solve this problem for good, but I don't have the slightest idea what to stop running in my startup that has nothing to do with windows mail.

  • Off headset device

I accidentally disabled my helmet camera. I had my audio device manager open to the Manager of the helmet. There is a box that says "disable this device" and I checked it accidentally. I clicked on apply, then the box was empty except for a text saying 'the device you are configuring has been deleted' even when my headset was plugged. I tried reconnected several times and nothing. I looked everywhere in the device manager / his Manager/Control Panel for anything that would allow me to activate my headphones to work. Any ideas?

    Hi teenassassin,

You can try the following steps and check if it works:

    1. open the control panel. (Classic view)

NOTE: open the start menu and click on the menu button of the control panel.

    2. click on the audio icon.

    3. click on the recording tab.

NOTE: this also works on the reading tab, but there are usually no hidden audio devices there.

    4. right click on an empty area and click Show disabled devices.

    5. you will now see the audio devices disabled with the arrow pointing down on them.

NOTE: these audio devices may vary depending on the installed audio card or chip you have.

    6. right-click on each listed off audio device that you want to activate and click Activate.

    7. you will now see this when the audio devices are enabled.

NOTE: you can now change the property settings on these audio devices in the way you want.

    8. click OK to close the sound window.

    Kind regards

  • Passport for blackBerry how can I stop Twitter and Facebook are listed on my contacts?

I find it frustrating to find my contacts and have FB and Twitter followers listed on it. I went into my accounts under the system settings and it does give me an option to turn it off. Help?

The only way is to remove the accounts of your device. You can filter the followers of Facebook and Twitter by going in the Contacts application, sliding down from the top and go to settings. You can enable or disable individual accounts

Apparently the upgrade of 11.2.0.3 to 12.1.0.2 leaves in this situation (listeners node and scan all with remote_registration_address set to off) rather than the default value that you would get with a new installation 12.1 to have remote_registration_address value address HAIP (listeners both node and scan).  I finally unconfigured and reconfigured a cluster for remote_registration_address game to use an address HAIP.
