Disabling the out-of-order laptop computer

Hello

I had installed PS/LR on a secondary laptop.

This laptop cannot start more due to a damaged processor. I had to replace it.

I want to reinstall Photoshop on the new laptop, but I want to assure you that the previous license activation will not conflict on the new laptop.

All the procedures I found suggest that you disable the license of the program running on the old laptop, which is impossible.

How can I make sure that the old installation will not prevent me to use PS on the new laptop computer?

Thank you in advance.

You must place the request to restore the number of activations by one.

Thank you

    Hello

If you do not ever use fingerprint sensor, then you can uninstall it from the system for it - HP SimplePass software. Then you can disable the fingerprint sensor in the Device Manager. How to do?

    Reach:

Control Panel-> device-> biometric devices Manager

Right click of your fingerprint sensor fingerprint validity it and choose " disable ".

  • How to DISABLE the touchpad on my laptop to use a mouse instead

I had to reformat my computer Dell Inspiron 1545 (64-bit) and installed Microsoft Office 2010. I have a serious problem when you type in will I suddenly find I type in a place far behind the cursor. I thought that this is because I use a standard mouse operated by hand and not the touchpad in the laptop itself. I am told the only way to solve this problem is to turn off or disable the touchpad when mouse is used.

All efforts to find the way to do this have failed. Can you please specify? Dell has become so elusive and inexplicable, it seems totally oblivious to the real problems associated with this product - a classic case of supplier having lost interest in his clients. All THREE so-called solution have no effect on my keyboard. To the right of F12 key ejects the CD. F3 provides details on the battery and Fn + F1 does nothing - in other words there is no change at all.
I don't think that Dell or Microsoft has an idea of what the problems--and care even less!

  • How can I disable the touchpad on my laptop Pavilion dv4155cl?

I have a Pavilion laptop dv4155cl and HATE the touchpad, mainly because when you type on the keyboard, the keypad is just under my Palm of the right hand, and it hinders so try to type as the guard cushion see my Palm by tapping the touchpad, and mess substance upward. My old dv1000 was a dedicated switch just above the touchpad to turn, but this one isn't, and since I use a mouse exclusively in any case, I would just turn off the internal touchpad but don't know how? I tried to uninstall through Control Panel, but whenever I restart the computer Windows sees it as new hardware and reinstall... Can someone tell me please how to disable it without having to tear the thing apart and unplugging it physically?

BTW, I am running Win XP Home Edition SP3

Well, since I messed with it fo the day I managed to solve this myself :-) Here's what I did. First I went into the control panel and checked the properties of the mouse, I discovered that there are 3 displayed here, TWO who registered as a HID-Compliant mouse and the 3rd like PS2 Mouse. In reviewing the properties of each, I've found that BOTH HID devices had the ability to be either be enabled or disabled, and by disabling each of them in turn, I discovered that my USB mouse is turned off and the other turned off something else but neither off the touchpad, this left ONLY the PS2 Mouse to be the touchpad... so I looked at its properties and could find NO WAY within its property to disable tabs your device, then I noticed it's file of the pilot was very old, the way back in 201 actually, so I decided to try to update the driver, I have DID in selecting the automatic update, which was the recommended choice, after small time it found and installed a driver Alps dated in 2005 and he then told me he had to restart to the pilot would be usable. After that, I looked in the propertieds Alps & on one tab named others, there is a selection that says use Touchpad & PS2 Mouse, then when I unchecked this selection, the touchpad is now disabled and my USB mouse still works perfectly... Exactly what I wanteed. Of course, reselect this question in properties reactivates the touchpad, it gives me a convenient way to enable or disable the internal touchpd at will, so KUDOS to me... :-)

  • How can I disable the CC on a dead computer?

I had downloaded on two machines CC: my desktop and laptop. My office died a few days ago and now I am setting up my new office, including the download of CC, but I can't. My guess is because the license is not good for the two machines, but how to deactivate a license on a computer, that I can start is longer?

    Thank you!

Unfortunately, we will not be able to disable the desktop however you can go ahead and install and activate the product on a third machine.

Once you activate it will ask you to turn off other machines and that's how you can disable.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook - 17 - the g015: didn't laptop computer Pavilion like no correct model of laser recoganised all-in-one

I have a Canon imageCLASS MF8380Cdw laser color while a (copier/fax/scanner/printer) that worked very well with my hp Pavilion. Last week, I had to reconnent the wireless to my laptop and our office. Today when I tried to scan with the Toolbox of the Canon, I get a message saying that the scanner is not installed/enabled, check the connection.  I can print with no complications from my laptop but when I went into the devices, the incorrect printer model is listed (appears as a model of Canon MF8000C class) and not to scan.    I completely lost the scanner on my laptop - all my laptop recognizes the printer or fax, not the scanner isn't at all. He doesn't even get the right model. I have a wireless LAN connection and ironed it at least 4 times. I entered the IP address in the discovery mode: coming up with the wrong model, which has no capability to scan.  I is even more can enter the make and model in the window that used to give me the option ti find by model. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times, but unless I can find a way for the laptop to 'find' the right model, it's a total waste of time.  To my knowledge, there has been no change of driver, but the update of hp to my laptop was made last Thursday (3-10) and it was the first time I have tred to scan anything since the update.  Thanks to anyone who can give me a suggestion. Otherwise, I'll have to shoot all my documents, and then add to my system via SD card.

I was able to contact Canon and it wasn't their problem, but it solved. Was not an issure HP either - HP SORRY!  It turns out that is was a problem of update MICROSPOFT. The gentleman of Canon tech support was able to fix part of the problem, but after an hour, the last resort was to uninstall all the drivers of all-in-one and the printer itself, download the new drivers and reinstall everything. I'm back in business! Thank you all.
