• A satellite - SD card disappears a few seconds later

  When I insert an SD card into the built in card reader of my Toshiba laptop (with OS win 7 * 32 bit) continuously, the SD card reader appears as a drive (and shows its menu autoplay) and seconds and disappears later. This continues to be away and never moved. Also, it shows and unshows as a disk set is not.

  One thing is that this behavior will occur if the card into the slot when the laptop is turned off and then removed (and reinserted) sometime after the next startup. If the card slot is empty, when I shut off and then after the next boot if I insert the card fine

  No explanation for this mysterious behavior and no workaround? I have recommended Toshiba installed the drivers for this device from SD slot and its controllers. If you please help me and to recommend what I can do or confirmt Hat this is acceptable and normal behavior

• menu Action disappears a few milliseconds after you click. so I can't start mobile LR.

  If I try to watch the action menu where LR mobile is specified, bars export or create smart views are displayed, the menu disappears before I can click on an element. It is the only way to start mobile LR. I have a Macbook pro with yosemite and the last CC Version of Lightroom.

  I found a work around for the problem. If I use the touch screen, it's like I click twice. This is perhaps a hardware or driver incompatibility. If I use a normal USB-mouse, a single click works and I can choose to stop the activity or enable Mobile with Lightroom. New: The problem is not enough LR-Mobile. the problem was the inaccessibility of the menu.

• Accidentally uninstalled Gadget clock. How can I get that back?

• Currency gadget not updated

  All my other gadgets to date except the currency.
  The weather gadget works very well.
  I compared with another computer that is basiclly all the same settings and the other computer currencies updated daily very well...
  This computer has not updated the gadget currency in more than a week.
  Everything else is fine... including the network connections.
  I tried several things, like turn off the firewall, but it did not help.

  I had a few gadgets that will refresh not before, and I'm just curious, the problem persists it everywhere to restart the computer, or is it constant?

  You could try to restore gadgets to see if maybe it is corrupt.  Here's how:

  1 - in the Gadget Picker, right click on the currency gadget and select uninstall.

  2 - type restore gadget in your Start menu and select the option that appears to restore gadgets.

  This will restore the gadget without harming all other gadgets you may have.  Check if the problem persists.

• BlackBerry Curve 8330 of Smartphones icons disappear!

  My icons disappeared a few weeks there, on a trip... removed battery and everything was ok... this weekend it happened again... the battery did nothing, but now I get an error 523, verizon said they have never heard of... didn't call technical support no help yet once... online and updated the software was better for 24 hours and it happened again... Verizon just sent me a new phone... and I replaced my info using the bb desktop manager backup and support... GUESS WHAT - it happened again.   I have a large black circle and four small gray flat circles on my screen.   I can switch to a program by using the alt/back buttons then switching applications to join only my bb Messenger, messages, browser or telephone.  I don't have a home screen.    I've updated the software for this phone too and nothing... I also scanned the two phones for virus and came up with nothing... Please help me I have now two phones useless!

  WHOOOO HOOOOOO what I did!  Thanks for all your support... used the original bb did all updates etc out of the web... sync was using ASCII - rasthaus the new phone and one a path of folder to design and voila it worked!

  who says that they are more offfered and there is a security problem.  I just got this computer in October and was then able to load them, unfortunately the safety release July was.  Would have been nice to know that first.  They always appear as a feature film on the pages of microsoft Windows 7, that's how I found out about them.

  Also the fix for me page for the security problem is not clear, I don't know if I'm supposed to be activation or deactivation.  He said I can always use them and resolves the problem of safe? Source of confusion.

  I had a few gadgets, WeatherCentre from a Russian source which was the only weather gadget which could display data from The Weather Network well and network monitor, a gadget that has shown that computers on my home network are online.

  Since I use Windows 8, I had to lose two... :-(

• AE - video appears and disappears in the main comp but comp void HELP!

  I'm working on a music video (mostly live footage) and images play perfectly well in a model of void (e.g. comp1 image below: BASS1) but in the main computer, the images empties every few seconds (for example a blank image: 2 Vids).

  When I make it the same thing - the video disappears in parts! I also used an effect like Trapcode particular in the subcomp and the effect will appear in the final rendering very well but the video always disappears every few seconds.

  I hope that its some simple setting me escapes, but I'm under time pressure and can't resolve it. Any help appreciated!

• Why my descriptions extract disappear?

  I noticed that when I open an extract to change or view the descriptions are incomplete - in some cases completely gone.

  Here are the excerpts that I created.  Sometimes the description will disappear a few minutes of my writing.

  Is there a procedure I should follow to save these?

  Why is that happening and how can I stop it so that my clips remain in the form that I intended?

  When things disappears from files on the Mavericks, it's usually because of Dictation and voice recognition.  Try disabling them both in your system settings.

  I just upgraded to macOS Sierra on my MacBook Pro (retina, mid-2012), and I have a problem with the Finder. After some long frustration with gel Finder, I've found that the folders containing files with extension .sty (LaTeX style file) make Finder freeze. (I was very lucky to find it). For example, if I do this in a Terminal:

  $ mkdir ~/tmp

  $ touch ~/tmp/a.sty

  and then navigate to ~/tmp in Finder, Finder hangs for a few minutes showing a spinning wheel. (Initially, it seems OK, but eventually the problem comes. He was in the first when I have improved in the morning. The problem in the evening.) When I have my control back, I go back one level upwards (to my ~) and revisit ~ / tmp, just to review Finder freeze for a few minutes or more. When I change the file extension to something different ("a.s.", for example) to the Terminal (mv a.sty a.s.), the problem disappears a few moments later.

  I have the same problem in the guest user account. Here again, it seems OK at first, but leaving and revisit the ~/tmp directory (containing .sty files) repeatedly makes Finder finally freeze. Again, the problem has disappeared when I change the extension to something else.

  I did a lot of things so far. I checked the disc, spot of indexing, deletion of the Finder preferences, remove Finder caches, etc. Nothing helps. Deleting the files from *.sty did.

  What would be the problem? Am I the only one having this problem?

  If I can, I would like to avoid clean - reinstall. I have a few apps I want to not reinstall because I have to get my old mails, shelves, drawers and my old records for licenses.

• tried everything to no problems printing - no luck

  Hi, since I upgraded to El Capitan my macbook air was not able to see the printers on my network wifi or connected via USB. I fixed it once (I kept trying things and eventually they both show) but they disappeared a few days later and today I tried previously tried everything and nothing works. Here is what I tried it - is there anything else anyone can think? I would like to downgrade to Yosemite, but Setup was removed from the Apple store so it's not an option more.

  (1) I checked to see if the printers were on and connected to the wifi network.

  (2) I have reset the printing system

  (3) I renamed the printer folder in library old printer and reinstalled the printer drivers for printers

  (4) I used the terminal window to correct permissions

  (5) I downloaded the latest drivers from gutenprint for mac

  (6) I installed a completely clean picture of El Capitan After erasing my drive

  (7) I have restored a previous image that I created just after I solved the problem of the printer

  None of these things worked. When I click on the plus sign on the printers and scanners to add a new printer, there is no printer available to add. Even when I connect one of the printers with a USB port, it is not seen by the mac.

  I really don't know what to do at this point. It is not a printer problem, because these are two different manufacturers - it's certainly a problem with the mac. I am able to use google cloud print with printers (if they are indeed on the wifi network).

  Any advice would be appreciated.

• YouTube progress bar keeps flashing

  I don't think it's a problem of FF because it also happens when I use IE 10, but I always get better help than Youtube or IE.

  When I watch a video on Youtube the guard progress bar appearing and disappearing every few seconds if you move the mouse. I tried to move the mouse in an area off the screen and turn it off (the mouse, it's a Microsoft 3500 wireless) but that made no difference, it just guard appearing and disappearing every few seconds.

  It does exactly the same thing if I use IE10, so I don't think it's an add-on to FF or app. I never use IE10 so I don't have a bunch of applications loaded on it.

  Other sites video don't do this then I think it's a problem of Yotube. He just started to arrive two days ago. Does anyone else have this problem? Or a solution?

  Well I don't know if it will work or not. When I'm went on Youtube to try your suggestion the problem had resolved itself!
