Hi Dawn Kelley,
Connect the laptop to the docking station.
Note: If you don't see the option 'Disconnect the computer', it is possible that your laptop is not configured correctly for mooring or you don't have the administrative permissions required to disconnect the laptop.
To detach the laptop computer, follow these steps:
1. click on start, then click on "disconnect the computer. (Located next to the options for "Stop" and "Restart")
2. wait for a message appears saying that you undock your laptop successfully.
Note: Some laptops will not give this message but rather will make a sound confirming that the cell phone has been disconnected.
3. push the eject button on the docking station downwards until the cell is displayed.
4. pull the laptop to the station, on the back first.
Advice and WARNING:
Computers Dell laptops have the option "disconnect the computer. However, some laptops can have an option for "Eject the PC" in the start menu, instead of 'disconnect the computer.
It is extremely important to disconnect your laptop computer in the start menu before you eject from the docking station.
Ejection for a laptop computer to the station before being released on the start menu may cause data loss.
It can also cause damage to your laptop or other devices connected to the docking station.
Read the manual of the manufacturer for detailed instructions and equipment for your specific laptop.
NOTE: If the laptop is not connected to the docking station, and then the pc disconnect button is not available on the start menu.
Hope this information is useful.
Let me know if it worked.
All the best!
Thank you, and in what concerns:

Followed by disconnection of back button of the browser allows the user in application
Hello
In Application Express 4.0.2.00.07 in the 300 request authentication scheme I defined the logout url to be:
wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.logout? p_this_flow = & APP_ID. & p_next_flow_page_sess = & APP_ID.:101:
It works very well, that is when the user application click on the logout button, he or she is redirected to the page of connection (101) if at this stage, the application user clicks the previous button on the browser, Firefox or Chrome, it is allowed in the application and may exercise as if it never of disconnection.
On the other hand if this same exercise is repeated in Internet Explorer, the feature works as expected, it's that the user cannot return to the application without logging in once more.
Any suggestions on why Firefox/Chrome behaves this way? suggestions in areas to look at pointers would be welcome.
Thank you
Daniel

Authenticate when the user clicks on the "back" button after disconnection
Hi all
Is there a way that the user can be required to authenticate, if simply disconnected, then click on the back button.
I have a situation where a user who works on relatively sensitive data disconnects (yeees they should close the browser and all, but they never obey instructions...) and someone else can come around and click on the back button and see it as what he had worked on.
Is it possible to disable this behavior, or otherwise force a reload/re-authentication.
Thank you.Hello
You can do this by writing this code in each page of your application
Write this in the html header:
and write it in the Page HTML Body attribute:
onunload="javascript:history.go(1)";
It will not allow users to go back.
Thank you

I can't see the menu button to work
I'm using Firefox on Linux Mint 13 Maya. For some reason, good number of buttons in Firefox (not on Web pages but FireFox itself) do not meet the mouse clicks. I tried the safe mode, refresh/restore and uninstall/reboot/reinstall. Still the same problem.
I have a hard time to access the settings, because the menu button is one who "depresses", but does not respond to mouse clicks.
Also, I can not activate or deactivate the plugins because of the same problem.Ok
After trying more than things I want to try to enumerate. I think I have a solution.I installed the cinnamon desktop environment and disconnected then connected after choosing the cinnamon and the problem disappeared.
I don't know why I suddenly started having the problem in xfce, because FireFox was working very well in it and my system was a little more sensitive to use.
It works and I can go back to using FIrefox as my main browser.
Blessings,

I have a
HP ENVY 17-j017cl Notebook computer Touchsmart I bought 4 DVD for HP Recovery supports a month previously, when I I want to recover I get this error explained below.
I was trying to fix it, I did the following;
1. turn on the wifi
2 bios date was set before the 22/06/2014
3 reset the default bios
BUT THE ERROR PERSISTS.
By selecting Save Log asks to insert a USB key which shows essentially the same message as details (see below).
Message;
[15:35:01.68] ChkErrBB.CMD: detect an error in the PININST_BBV.
[15:35:01.68] ChkErrBB.CMD: check c:\system.sav\logs\BurnBootWarn.log
[15:35:01.68] ChkErrBB.CMD: or, visit c:\system.sav\logs\BurnBootMerge.log
Selecting retry invite you for the recovery media, essentially the first DVD of the media of recovery sent by HP.
There are 4 four total drives, 1 to 3 are recovery DVD and an extra drive
Hi there @ako89kurdish.
Let me welcome in the HP support community where you can ask questions, find solutions, and get help with problems you encounter.
Cables and devices to disconnect all the connected such as personal media players, USB drives, printers and faxes. Remove support for internal hard drives and remove any recently added hardware internally.
It may be necessary to disable startup secure in the BIOS to start the computer using recovery media (CD/DVD or USB key).
The new recovery for 2015 fall update manager must be downloaded and installed to successfully carry out a recovery of the system using HP Recovery Manager.
It takes a minimum of 3 GB of free space to install the update in the Recovery Manager.
Do you back up all personal files and read all of the instructions required warning before performing a system recovery? To backup your files will result in a loss of files and information you don't want to lose.
To get the instructions back up and save your files, see back up your files (Windows 10: 8).
The full recovery process may take 4 to 6 hours or longer to complete. For best results, the computer must not be connected to the Internet. The computer will restart several times during the process. Do not turn off or interrupt the recovery process until the prompt to log on Windows.
Here are a few links to a thread in forum where other people have experienced similar problems and solved it: detect an error in the PININST_BBV
I also found the Troubleshooting of HP system recovery document for you. Please follow the troubleshooting steps in this document to help you with the attempt of recovery failure.

Satellite Pro A200 freeze, including the power button
Had a complete system freeze last night - first tabs of Firefox, then, when I tried to call the Manager of tasks, CTRL + ALT + DELETE does not either. I pressed the off button several times, but couldn't turn off the laptop.
After disconnecting the power cable, the power led is stayed blue and he was always running on battery, even if the battery led was off. I left the laptop (what can I do) until the battery has been emptied and it closes.
This morning, it came normally, followed by this error message:
"the exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) occurred at the location 0x7c812a5b.
Followed by a screen of windows update updates have been made and the computer will restart soon (just in case where which can be connected - the night before, the symbol of "updates available" was in the shortcut bar too, and when it froze, I ran my virus check Spyware Doctor daily in the background).
I rebooted the computer without other error messages and it has been fine until now, but I have no idea what caused it, and if it happens again. Any advice?
> I left the laptop (what can I do) until the battery has been emptied and it closes.
What else could do you?
First of all, you could hold the power button for about 4 seconds and it would help tp close Notepad. Then you could reboot the laptop to check if the system is running correctly. However, it seems that it s running again.> I rebooted the computer without other error messages and it has been fine until now, but I have no idea what caused it, and if it happens again. Any advice?
Believe me, it's really not easy to say what caused this problem system and I guess nobody here will be able to answer EXCATLY.
In my view, there was a software problem that was solved by new reboot and a new update to Vista
Strange things still occur and are not rare for me.Welcome them

My Pavilion Elite M9150F P/N KC880AA-ABA running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. The device turns on no switch or remote control. He lite is turned on and power is running through the unit until button (checked through AC voltage detector) are there known issues with these? Are there spare parts? It doesn't hang or move the last time it was turned on. What are my options? Thanks for any help.
Hello cello6996
You are in warranty? If so, I would suggest contacting HP. If you are out of warranty, follow the steps below.
How does a power button is essentially that it shorts two special pins. This short film is a signal to the power on the power supply and all components. A quick Google search reveals the most common method to do this is to disconnect the wires to the pins on the motherboard power button and then tap a screwdriver against just these two pins. Use gloves as a precaution. or a screwdriver with an insulated handle.
How to bypass the power on button on pc
Is there a way to bypass the power switch?
If the computer starts correctly something wrong with the power button. If the problem persists, it is more than likely a problem with one of the hardware components and the problem will have to be isolated further. Let me know what happens. -
X 230 broke the market button / stop
Hello
I got a 230 X a few months ago, and the power button has stopped working. It is back as the other keys and pressing it has no effect.
My laptop is under warenty so I intend to contact the store I bought a repair issue, but I was wondering is it possible for me to use the laptop in the meantime? Did someone knows a way to turn on the laptop without using the power button?
the other way to turn on the laptop without the power button, is to disconnect your power (including the battery) and remove the CMOS battery.
Now connect the main power supply (without the CMOS battery connected), which cause your laptop start automatically.

The MAX properties of the device button is disabled / grayed
Hello
I am in the process of commissioning of a Labview test bench controlled so looking for conditions in which the system can become dangerous.
If I simulate a computer/software crash by stopping LabVIEW (using the windows Task Manager) exits Digital remain frozen in their last State before shutdown. I need them all to become 'low state' (off) because that would make the safe test bench. How can I do this?
After doing some reading, I tried to define the type of MAX, by going to the INTERFACES AND DEVICES, select the device, and then click PROPERTIES. However, the properties button is disabled / grey so I can't access the properties.
I use the following software versions: Labview 8.6, MAX 4.7.1 and NOR-DAQmx 9.2.1
The material is: cDAQ NI9178 (chassis) and NI9481 (electromechanical relay module).
Thank you very much
Loss of power of the computer, the relay will revert to their default open State. Even if the device is disconnected from the computer. This is where the power is connected to the computer, but the application crashes that you will need to take another way to reset the relay.

Hello
The computer probably has a hardware problem and you should contact a real computer store
(who makes his own internal service and no leeks and displays a Best Buy or any other)
Department stores) or system manufacturer support. You cannot fix the hardware with the software.Acer - USA - Service and Support - drivers

Last week I have installed Win 10 to my Acer laptop 4830 t. rebooted several times and things seem to be ok. I tried playing a CD and got an error message about its incompatibility. Before I could upgrade to the drivers, the system entered hibernation mode and now don't restore or restart at all. I just get 5 flashes on the power button and nothing else. Yes, I've tried holding the power button until 2 minutes. I can't start or get any diagnosis since the system refuses to power on. I tried removing the battery but the battery is integrated and inaccessbile so I can't disconnect it without removing the motherboard to disconnect the connector of the dough. No possibility to boot on USB or CD/DVD car will not be powered. Technical support said they cannot help me if I can't remove the battery (uselessness is which?!). Apparently they have not suport scripts that relate to the actual products because it is a classic process for much older laptops. I am an expert IT guy and has more than 20 portable and built a lot of my own computers. I wonder if anyone has experienced this problem or has any helpful suggestions... Thank you.
Here is a rather unorthodox method... what worked for him.
