  I did as you said in regedit as there was no policy of storage device, but it does not remove the write protection. My backup disk is a connected via external usb port. If I turn off the external hard drive and turn it on then I can move or copy folders on disk for a few minutes the write protection turns. It started only with windows 7. In vista, alol was ok re backups. I read on the manual for this player and they don't even mention protection against Scripture. How do I know which drive to remove the register write-protection? I think I solved my problem. I had my backup disk connected to the computer via a usb hub. I changed it to connect directly to the back of the computer and now the backup drive is not protected in writing and I can copy and send the disk to backup with no problems. • How are GWX.exe successful removal, but still a few occurrences of the file on the disk - they protected?

  Being anoyed by the GWX-icon - and related unacceptable usage of my disk space and bandwidth (it has already reached 5GB of Win10 - junk and my SSD was almost full) - I tried to remove my system Win7 GWX. First I found 5 occurrences of the GWX.exe file (and some other files on) on my drive, after application of the GWX Panel I had up to 2 and the app is no longer active (and 5 GB of space free!). The use of some doesn´t of Mo wrong, but it looks a lot like a security breach - I m unable to delete these files & folders from the disk, even I m not able to change the security settings for these files.

  You must take possession of these files or folders, then you give a full read/write access. It may be necessary to do with the commands in the console (takeown.exe and icacls.exe) while Windows Repair Mode.

• Cannot play music files because they are protected from the DMA

  Several years ago, I decided to save space at home by extraction of CD music on a hard drive external loads and binning then the CD I imported the files into iTunes, but the rest I left intact hard disk.

  I bought the HP touchsmart tm2 - 2150ca in 2010. So far, everything was fine until last week, the laptop fell and the computer is not able to start. Disk-read write error is popping up. Tried to get the diagnosis of HDD makes nothing happens, is stuck in the initialization screen. Bought a new HDD for it than this one will. Only problem is I have donot have recovery discs. Is there a way I can get it? What is the procedure to get the made disk partition and install the system, hp, etc. in a different partition tools.

  You are welcome.

  First of all, about the recovery Partition, it is never established if you use a set of recovery discs HP to provide a way conveient to reinstall an OEM of Windows version - however this is not really necessary if you're creating a 'detail' to perform the installation, you can always reinstall using this option if the need arises.

  As you will be perfoming the Setup from a retail windows installation disc, this will give you the option to create a partition (use the Option on the Setup screen).  Unless you have a particular need to create customized partitions, you can leave Windows Installer for the "unallocated space" - this will automatically create a "System Partition" which is hidden and the main partition of Windows C.

  HP_TOOLS (E) partition will be created automatically by installing the UEFI diagnostic software.

• Unable to use Hp Recovery Disk (shipped directly from HP) error in copy file for Windows 8

  I have a laptop Windows 8 HP Envy Dv6-7210US, I got on the order recovery disc at HP to reinstall on the same hard drive size (HDD's wiped) but in doing so the work of until got Disc 2 disc and then it appeared an error message (see link to see the message). I had this same problem with Windows 7 back last year in 2013 and HP sent me a link using a utility from Cyberlink for help for help reinstalling the recovery disc. Unfortunately this does not work on Windows 8, I've tried several times.  I contacted HP and all what they want to do is send me more on the recovery disk but I've already paid for those I had bought ($18.00) and I think it's a waste of time. If HP knows this error is then why not to issue a fix with it when they send recovery disk or who ever made these discs? Does anyone have any suggestions?
