• Disk management does not allow me to partition the unused space

  When I was installing windows I deleted my primary partition and an extended partition. I wanted to consolidate the space in a larger primary partition, but the installer would not consolidate the unused space, there were a multitude of unused space in each partition, I hit refresh, I have sailed on the installation and then headed in disk management again and still no dice. But it allows me to create a primary partition, but not a different scope, so I figure wrong install and try again, but within windows, still no dice. The only option available for this space is 'create new simple volume', I can walk through and get ready to create, but when I hit ok on the last window I get an error "There is not enough free space on the disk to complete this operation" if I put it to the maximum or minimum size, I get the same error.

  Is it possible to go back on my partition? or I'll have to scrounge something like partition magic and forget trying to do with windows?

  Thanks for the replies.

  When you want to extend a partition, for example the primary partition that you have installed on Windows 7, you should right click on the partition and select EXTEND the VOLUME.  Windows look for free space and give you a reading of how much free space is available to extend the volume of.

  Are you right click on the main partition or free space?

  I had no problem before now with the computer. Yet once, this message has occurred during a turn on my laptop. I tried to restart the laptop, but it is not allowing me to restart. The laptop back to this message.

  If you do not, use another PC to create a rescue CD Windows 7.  Download the ISO relevant among the links below.

  Windows 7 32 bit

  Windows 7 64 bit

  You must use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO to a CD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.  One time created, or if you already have this, typing away at the esc key when you launch Notepad to open the Start Menu.  Insert the rescue CD.  Select boot options (usually f9), use the arrow keys to select the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER.  You can also get a prompt to "Press any key to" continuous - it if requested.

  When loading, select repair your computer and choose the command prompt.  When this charge, enter the following commands and press on enter after everyone – including spaces as shown.

  Bootrec.exe

  bcdedit/export C:\BCD_Backup

  c:

  Boot CD

  BCD attrib s h - r

  Ren c:\boot\bcd BCD.old

  Bootrec /RebuildBcd

  Bootrec /fixmbr

  Bootrec /fixboot

  Remove the rescue CD and try to restart the laptop.

  I was clicking on the box on the left. When I clicked on the rectangular area to the right of the box, everything was fine.

  I have just connected (via USB 3.0, Icy Dock MB559u3s-1 s box) 1 TB West hollow. Reader FBYX WD 1003.  I've initialized as a disk MBR incase it was necessary to be used with another system.  It shows that the space that is not allocated as it should.  The problem is when I right click on the symbol, I don't get the Volume Simple formatting option.  The only options are for covering, scratches, etc.  My existing music player will expose a scary behavior so any help would be appreciated.

  Found this solution:

  The default "Save as" dialog Acrobat DC is different from the dialogue box you had in earlier versions of Acrobat, it also allows you to record in the clouds and previous locations that you saved the files. It is possible that when Acrobat tries to connect to the 'cloud', it runs into problems. You can try to disable this feature to see if this brings your backup in the back of the box: open Acrobat Preferences, then go to the "General" category and uncheck "show the online storage when you save files:
