Display multiple records of repeat region

I have two sets of data:

Recordset1, as well as other information, contains the index corresponding recordset2

I have set up a repeating region and need a field of recordset2 to display data record1. I really tried everything, but it seems no way to control what cs3 order puts the php for mysql read code. I can easily put on a list menu and cs3 doing the code for select recordset2 correctly but it is a display and I don't know there is something simple, I'm missing and appreciate in advance your time and advice.

I am running php 5 and mysql 5 on my vista IIS machine.

You need a set of records, and that we will use what is called a JOIN.
You implement the join in your SQL statement. Do a google on mysql join
and see if it makes no sense. Otherwise, post your 2 existing SQL
statements and we will see if we can do for you.

  • Display data in a repeating region: help please!

I have a MySQL table called "services":

    tbl_services
    Hall
    servlangs
    servlangt

"servlangs" and "servlangt", get their values from a table "language":

    tbl_language
    LangID
    langname

I can add records to the table of trouble free service.

The trouble begins when I present reports in a region of repetition. I have a recordset to filter the data:

    rsServices
    SELECT tbl_language.langname as servlangsource, tbl_service.servid, tbl_service.servlangs, tbl_service.servlangt
    OF tbl_service, tbl_language
    WHERE tbl_language.langid = tbl_service.servlangs

The repeat region is as follows:

    rsServices.servtitle, rsServices.servlangsource, rsServices.servlangt

I used the 'servlangsource as' to display the language, instead of the id, name, but I can't understand how to do the same for the value "servlangt".

    Can anyone help?

You simply create a table alias for the table of the language so that you can reference it again. I don't know what that S & T position, so I'm just adding them to the table and column aliases.

    SELECT tbl_service.servid, tbl_service.servlangs, tbl_service.servlangt, Slang.langname as Sservlangsource, Tlang.langname as Tservlangsource
    OF tbl_service, tbl_language "Slang", tbl_language "Samy".
    WHERE Slang.langid = tbl_service.servlangs AND Tlang.langid = tbl_service.servlangt

  • [ADF, JDev 12.1.3] How to display multiple records on the same page... not in a table but they appear a form for each record

    Hallo,

I need to create a page that displays the records of a VO, but I would not use a table.

Instead, I would like to display a form for each record to be displayed.

Forms must appear one above the other and each form should have 2 buttons: one to remove the file/form itself and one to add a new file/form.

When you press the button Add a new empty form should be dynamically added to the page (so that the user can fill) and created related record.

When REMOVE button is pressed the form (which contains the operated button) should be disappear and the record shuould be deleted.

Creations and destruction must be applied only if the user clicks a button on CONFIRMATION / COMMIT.

Maybe this http://digilander.libero.it/flattit82/OTN_FILES/MultiFormPage.png picture can help to understand what I want to do.

    You kindly help me?

    Thank you

    Hi Federico

I was saying that your page layout can be achieved using af: table

    See this image:

This provision is af:table (I think same as yours), just add a column in the table and put all the fields in this column then correct layout allows to design as a provision on the form or group layouts

I'm not saying it's the best approach, but you can try this

  • How to view multiple records to a report form - as the model?

    Hi all
I developed a form - like model report
I want to show him several records at once (on the same page)
I tried assigning a value of "Maximum records per page" property for the extensible framework 10
but when I close the range property and open it again the value returns to 1!
How to display multiple records on the same page?

    Thank you

check around your formatting images if all have the "vertical stretch" value to the variable or develop.

  • First record in a repeat region

I have a repeat region on my page showing all records in a Recordset. My recordset containing a SORT by Date DESC, so that the most recent recording is displayed first on the page.

I would like to add a static text next to the first record only.

In other words, let's say I have a list of name:

    Joe

    Frank

    Mark

    Laura

    Linda

I want to display "Winner" next to the first record only, in this case Joe:

    Joe [winner]

    Frank

    Mark

    Laura

    Linda

You have an already defined recordcounter so use:

    <%=(rsShippingAddress.Fields.Item("Address   1").Value)%> <%=(rsShippingAddress.Fields.Item("Address2").Value)%>

    <% If recordcounter = 1 Then %>

    [Winner]

    <% End If %>

    or alternatively

    <>

    If recordcounter = 1 Then

    response.write "[winner]".

    End If

    %>

  • Number of records in the repeat region

I have a page with a repeat region, which displays the records in Table1. Table1 is related to the Table2 (one to several, MS Access). I want to do is show the number of records in Table2 that are associated with a given row from Table1 shown in the repeat region.

Think of how many responses listed next to each message in this forum, because that's basically what I do. As it is now, I get the correct number of records for the first line of Table1 shown in the repeat region, but this number is indicated in each line. In other words, if the first record displayed from Table1 has 3 matching records in table 2, 3 number in each row in the repeat region.

I appreciate all the help that I'm a complete novice.

Maybe it is not very effective, but I bet you it will do what you want:

    SELECT *.
    FROM table1
    ORDER BY name DESC

    SELECT *.
    FROM table2
    Where tid = #table1.id #.

    #table1.name #.
    #table1.client #.
    #table1.products #.
    $# numberformat (table1.income, '999,999.99') #.
    #table1.frequency #.
    #table2. RecordCount #.

Add a SEPARATE statement to your application.

    SELECT DISTINCT c_city canteen

  • Repeat regions inside the repeat regions

I don't know how to do this.  Dreamweaver has said that we can not put server inside server behaviors behaviors.   But it seems like a pretty standard thing, someone might want to do.  For example:

Suppose you want to create a menu online.  And say... you have two tables:

    Elements of array

    • item_id
    • Nom_element
    • item_description
    • item_price

    Ingredients of the table

    • ing_id
    • ing_name
    • item_id

So, on your page, you want to display a repeat of each menu item region in the database.  In addition, within each menu item, you want to have a repeat region of each ingredient that has the same id of the element.

Who is?  So, it can look like:

    Fishy lips
Wonderful lips for all you lovers of the shady lip!  Get 'em today!

    Ingredients

    Fishy lips

    Seasoning ladle

    Herbs fish

    Fishy spices

    Luckity Hoppity
Legs of amazing rabbit that bring good luck!

    Ingredients

    Rabbit legs

    Spices of rabbit

    Language of cow

Sorry, I'm not a php programmer, but I can explain the concept.

First of all, your idea to recover the two recordsets and then display the corresponding data in the inner loop should work. But it looks like you get the wrong records.  If I understand, you obtain a list of healthcare providers and then education for each display. Fix? If so, then the caregiver is the outer loop, and education is the inner loop, yet your inner loop made progress helping RS:mysql_fetch_assoc($getCaregiver)

You could try just those switching.

However, it is more common first retrieve the recordset of the outer loop. Then, when you browse, you need to run an internal recordset for each iteration of the outside. Your SQL for the internal RS has a filter so that it contains only the matching records.

    Hi guys,.

I'm sure that this issue would have been requested many times before. If so, my apologies for the re - this announcement first.

In any case, what I'm trying to do is create a repeat region that spans 4 columns and then repeat the rest in rows. For example, if I have 100 records in my table (MySQL), so I want to display in a table of 4 columns and 25 rows and (in reality, the number of records would be indeterminate, of course, but still records must be displayed on a 4 X line table column). For the moment, I have no problem with displaying the records vertically or horizontally (explicitly) by using the behavior 'repeat region. However, when I have the problem is with displaying records in a table like the one I described above.

    I use PS CS5 with PhP/MySQL.

Can I still do this in server behavior "repeat region", using the If yes how?

Otherwise, if not, how could I achieve this (ideally without using extensions)?

Thanks in advance for any help and support,

  • Update multiple records at once

First, thank you very much the people who have helped me out several times now. I put things together and came across another issue of 'beauty' begin as follows. In the previous topics, I had a way to get to an array of automated classification based on the inputs of a fixtures table and some simple calculations. Now, which has been accomplished which resulted in me having to update all the teams by simply clicking a button.

As you can see in the code below, using a table with every row a form, at the end of the line, there is a button called 'OK' I have to push to update the record according to. A repeat region for all teams in this query shows the ranking of 'new', but is not yet inserted in the League table. Is it possible to have this repeat region without having to push 18 or 20 times a button update? At the end of the table, one (1) button update all records? The primary key is composed like this ' 0000 - u00a "(4 numéros un tiret puis un «u» 1 ou 2 numéros et 1 ou 2 lettres à nouveau)."

Each record is separated, as well as a record can be updated at once, unless you want that all records have the same value.

To update multiple records in a single operation, you must send the form tabular data. You do this by adding an empty pair of brackets at the end of the name attribute of each entry on the form like this:

This translates by $_POST ['ploegid'] which contains a table of all IDS: $_POST ['ploegid'] [0], $_POST ['ploegid'] [1], $_POST ['ploegid'] [2] and so on. All the attributes of the repeat region name need to have added hooks. The following hidden field should be outside of the repeat region and may not have the brackets:

You can then use a loop for updating the values like this:

    for ($j = 0, $len = count($_POST['ploegid']); $j < $len; $j++) {  $updateSQL = sprintf("UPDATE klassement SET wedstrijden=%s, overwinning=%s,   verlies=%s, gelijkspel=%s, goalsvoor=%s, goalstegen=%s, goalverschil=%s,   punten=%s WHERE ploegid=%s",                       GetSQLValueString($_POST['wedstrijden'][$j], "int"),                       GetSQLValueString($_POST['overwinning'][$j], "int"),                       GetSQLValueString($_POST['verlies'][$j], "int"),                       GetSQLValueString($_POST['gelijkspel'][$j], "int"),                       GetSQLValueString($_POST['goalsvoor'][$j], "int"),                       GetSQLValueString($_POST['goalstegen'][$j], "int"),                       GetSQLValueString($_POST['goalverschil'][$j], "int"),                       GetSQLValueString($_POST['punten'][$j], "int"),                       GetSQLValueString($_POST['ploegid'][$j], "text"));

      mysql_select_db($database_koscw, $koscw);  $Result1 = mysql_query($updateSQL, $koscw) or die(mysql_error());}

  • Several PHP repeat regions

    Hey kids,

IM currently doing an administration page for a school site, which comes in several forms. Basically, each form has a list/menu which will display the names of class... but these names are derived from the database in a repeat region to complete the lists of list/menu... when I went to do a repeat on the next form region, I learned that I can only use a region on a recordset of repetition... does that mean I have to go on creating a recordset for each menu drop-down , I create, or is there an easier way to use multiple regions of repetition of a Recordset, or another way?

    David

You can have several areas of repetition of a single recordset, but DW doesn't like it.  This means that you are on your own for coding, but fortunately, the task is not too difficult.  The trick is to RESET MySQL pointer within the recordset between repeat with mysql_data_seek() regions (see details here - http://us3.php.net/manual/en/function.mysql-data-seek.php )

If you're not a hand coder, it's maybe a bit beyond your reach at the time.

The DW easy to do would be to apply multiple recordsets on the page and use one for each repeat region.

  • Force a line break in the repeat region

I have a table that displays data from a query in PHP that I made using a single set of records and the repeat region behavior.  I would really like to be able to break the table (add an empty line) every time that a certain field changes the values.  My code (or the code given to me by DW) is as follows.

    <? PHP {? >}

    < tr bgcolor = "#809E7C" class = "reg_dataview_data" >

    < td > < table >

    < td > <? PHP echo $row_rs_Sum09 ["ChildFirst'];? > < table >

    < td > <? PHP echo $row_rs_Sum09 ['child age'];? > < table >

    < td > <? PHP echo $row_rs_Sum09 ["ChildSex'];? > < table >

    < td > <? PHP echo $row_rs_Sum09 ['Session'];? > < table >

    < td > <? PHP echo $row_rs_Sum09 ['Status'];? > < table >

    < td > <? PHP echo $row_rs_Sum09 ['quarter'];? > < table >

    < /tr >

    <? PHP} while ($row_rs_Sum09 = mysql_fetch_assoc ($rs_Sum09));? >

I would like for the table to break to the change in the value of Session.

    Advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Steve

Yes, sorry about that. Simple mistake. I forgot to reset the value each time that the loop runs:

By the way, attaching images is very hit and Miss in this forum. It is best to use the camera icon at the top of the message field to integrate the image directly into your message.

  • DB update multiple records in a table with a form

I'm developing an online proofing system that displays a number of images and then allow the client to approve each image, but also to comment.

I currently have a configuration table with the different elements (an image dynamically takes its name, details about the image and the required form fields). See this Image for layout

I would then apply a repeat region (the number of signs vary) and you want to update all records with feedback from the customer and approval with a single form. How this is done? I downloaded a trial of the Toolbox for developers, but the documentation is horrible. I'd be willing to buy an extension that will allow, as appropriate.

I found an extension that does this in two minutes:

Great software, highly recommended. Easy to figure out and got this "problem" solved quickly.

  • Problem with layout / repeat region

Can someone have a look at this please?

Essentially two versions of a page of details based on a Recordset by using two tables and an interconnection table of choice.

The idea is to display the details of the person at the top of the page on the left (from the 'Candidates' table) and right any job "profiles" for this person (in a table of 'Profiles'). The page is obviously just showing the details of the candidate, but must be of * all * profiles associated with.

So, on the first page, the information is correct, but because it shows the first record in the query.

So I thought it would be a simple case of add a repeat region to the line of 'Profiles' on the right side. But when I do this, most of the coordinates are displayed not only the ID and name fields.

    Clues?

Scratch that - just rebuilt the table, and turned with the CSS and it's fine.
