• How to control where the Messages appear on a Page

  Hello.

  I use Apex 4.2.1 on mod_plsql and Oracle 11 g 3.  My application uses theme 21.

  I noticed a strange behavior.  All my messages page such as the success of process messages ('changes have been saved") and even validation error messages ("date field must have the value") will all be displayed at the bottom of my page.  The users do not know still an error has occurred or that their database changes have been successfully saved until they literally put you at the bottom of the page.

  My page happens to have several regions (HTML, report, form) some of which are "children" of the parts of 'parent '.  It's just the way I need to position the different regions on this particular page.

  If anyone knows why these messages appear at the bottom of the page?

  I want to display them all at the top of the page.

  Any son of tips/suggestion how to control the placement of the message on a page would be much appreciated.

  You put your regions in a position in the region above the location of the messages.

  Change one of the regions and in the "User Interface" section, there is the field "View Point".  Click on the flashlight icon to the right of this field to see a presentation of the positions of the region and location of the messages.  Note that #SUCCESS_MESSAGE # and #NOTIFICATION_MESSAGE # are under some other positions (e.g. region Position 1 and Position 4 region) region

  Parts of the main body of a page are normally in "body of Page Template (3).  Try changing your regions for the "body of Page Template (3)" shows point.

• How to display warning messages in the OPS

  Hi all
  I have a page where in I have a poplist. When the user changes the value of that poplist I want to display a message window that the "the user must either save the modifications or changes will be ignored. And I want to have two buttons to save or cancel the changes.
  How to achieve this in the OPS as I read that popups are not supported in the OPS.
  And the Confirmation message boxes at the top of a page does not stop the users to perform further processing.
  
  Can someone please shed some light on it.

  Disable you the message pane?
  Pressing F8 it will switch on and outside.
  You can also go to the menu bar and select pane display-in page-Message.

  Once you have checked this box, it is not possible see this warning again.

  However, you can check at any time to your available storage space.

  Click on your Apple  menu at the top left of your screen. In the drop-down menu, click on: about this Mac , and then select the storage tab.

I deleted all the preferences/settings, disabled modules and reinstalled many times. I did a Windows system restore to before that the problem started with no luck.

  The time / Date on my computer are correct. I have no firewall other than the windows one. I had no antivirus (netbook) until I installed a (Avast) yesterday to see if a virus was causing issues (found nothing). This problem arises on any internet connection (tested to work and home).

• Display a message to a user in a while loop

  Hello.  I've been using Labview for about 4 days and I have this preface saying that it is a homework problem, I'm not looking for an exact solution just someone to point me in the right direction.  I need to display a message to a user.  The problem is that, since it is within a while loop, when the condition is met for the notification to display, it just returns to the top and never let the user change the values to correct the problem.  It should be pretty obvious that the vi is supposed to do by looking at, and everything else works fine, until I put the message in it.  As an aside, I know that there are probably much better ways to accomplish the tasks that I decided to do about it, but as I said, I am completely new to LabView, so I apologize for the most elegant programmers out there for my brute force programming!  I searched the forums and found a few things about statements of case and registers at offset, but I have no idea how to use.  I have on this part of the problem, worked for hours now and make me nowhere, so any help will be really appreciated.

  First of all, thanks for pointing out that this is a homework problem. We mind helping people learn LabVIEW but oppose when someone is trying to put his homework for him.

  Statements of case and shift registers are probably what you need to learn next. Specifically, a state machine is probably well suited for this type of program. I think that your LV version came with a template or design for a state machine model. Look under the menu file > New... (No new VI) and see if you can find a state machine model.

  Other comments:

  -If you don't use a structure of the event, and then put a (ms) waiting inside the loop so it doesn't turn thousands of times per second that does exactly the same thing each time until the user changes a control.

  -In line and force? will make the comparison and select lower left and upper right part of your VI.

  -Force the amount entered for the multiple of 5 cents is OK, but can be confusing to the user trying to get 3 cents. A note on the Panel or a bunch of advanced control may be useful.

• Request Album Version 6.0.A.0.26 - top of page slide show

  Anyone could disable or remove the picture slide show at the top of the new version of the Album? It occupies a good part of the screen and it is not relevant (to me at least) that I don't want to have pictures that I took long time flashing at the top of the screen. I know not where are those photos if I want to check.

  I tried for an hour to find if this setting exists and ultimately I ended up coming back to the previous version of the Album which he seems to give more control or at the elast it was easier to find things,

  I found a way to stop this slide show browsing through all my pictures, and then randomly display them at the top of atually.  Here's what I did, in case anyone else is interested.

  Mark 1 image as a favorite and restart the application. The slideshow at the top of the page is supposed to display the images marked as Favorites. If none is marked as a favorite, the application will use random images from all the images in the phone. Have an image as a favorite appears just this 1 image and will not create a slideshow.

  I create an application that will empty ListView when it is installed. I want to display a message 'No still images' on this subject, but I'm not sure of the best way.

  One way would be to add a point and have a custom ListItemComponent so that it displays the message. (Better), another is to have a label on the ListView that will be visible only if there are no elements.

  All the best ideas? I thought that there is a kind of way to do this by default like on Android.

• How to display a message on the second tab when an option is selected in a drop-down

  I use a combo of my title bar, to within my application to display a list of options that will trigger different URL webViews.

  On my first tab I have a Web of a page view and when the option is selected the webView will change and the second tab will load the same webView but with /deals at the end of the url.

  The problem I have is that one of the options does not have a page of /deals on their site so I was wondering if it would be possible to hide the second tab or display a message on the second tab, when this specific option is selected?

  You can use these functions... It will remove the tab but will not destroy the content, it's like hiding and showing a tab

  Hello, I have Norton antivirus and apparently everything is installed correctly but when I click the icon on the desktop after a very short time, the message appears.  I have an Acer Aspire V3 windows 8.1 - 64 bit

  I am trying to solve this problem since last week.  No change at all.  (I uninstalled all the components of the front range of HP printers)  The printer I have is HP C6250 all-in-one.

  I followed all the steps in the HP website and a couple of nights, it seemed that everything was working, when I prayed me to turn on the printer, one of the color ink cartridges more than ink and I could not finish the job.  With the new cartridge is already installed, I can't retrieve the set to the top of page to complete the installation.
