Display of output with System.out.print

I think (hope) it is a relatively simple question... How can I get
System.out.print("a");
System.out.print("b");
System.out.print("c");
Display the form "a b c".

Instead of

'a '.
b
c » ?

I know that I was just using a, b and c as placeholders for objects. I say /had/ to write my code with 3 separate Print orders. How can I get each new string on the same line?

As noted your example produces no output you suggested.

IF you use printing, and the output is on different lines, this means that the objects, not of print(), is the source of multiple lines.

In this case, your options are
1 modify the objects to remove the end of line of code.
2 consume objects as strings and delete the end of characters in the line of these chains, then print the result.

Specifically, an easy way to remove breaks at the end of the strings is 'trim()' of the String class method. It will remove the spaces and the newlines from the beginning and the end of a string.

    He must return to 17.75

    No, it shouldn't. Divide you an integer by an integer, got a whole result, then he attributed to a float. If you want a result of float, you must do one of the operands a float or double.

  • Strange problem of Debug with System.out.println

    Hello

    I have an interesting question that I have not been able to solve and I reach out for more help.

    Earlier today my app stopped writing System.out.println messages in the console.

    It is not a fact that I'm not running it in debug mode, because all debugging information is still there. I see that things get focus, etc.

    But none of my system.out.println messages are written.

    Even with System.out.println ("main entry method"); on the first line of the main method does not appear.

    Is this a problem with the Simulator?

    Restart the Simulator, restart eclipse and restarted my computer, I tried the Simulator, cleaning.

    I use 8900 Blackberry Simulator.

    Any help you offer is very appretiated!

    Updated, I guess I was a bit premature in posting about me.

    After rebooting my computer again, by disabling the Simulator a few times and restart Eclipse once again, its started to work again.

    Strange strange question...

    Well, ~ FIXED ~

  • How to find information printed by system.out?

    Hi, I am a newbie in BB dev, I have an app that will be released some info using system.out.print, but I don't know where to check in real device or Simulator, can someone help?

    In JDE when running in the menu "Build-> equip all and run" a new window will appear.

    When you run your application - have a look at this new window (or frame).

    All your System.out.println () messages will appear in this window.

    You can also open this window (if closed) via the menu: "View-> output".

    If you want to save the request stream using the following class instead of System.out.println () call:

    net.rim.device.api.system.EventLogger

    To open the log on the real device, press 'Alt' on the keyboard, hold down and press the keys: LGLG

    I'm filling out a form that is available on a site. When I click on the option to fill out and submit the form 'online' a pdf document is displayed in chrome with the following text

    «To display all of the content of this document, you need a later version the viewer PDF.» You can upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader from www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html for further support, go to www.adobe.com/support/products/acrreader.html"

    Needless to day, I installed the latest version. I even reinstalled using the link in the message, but nothing helped. Whenever I click on the link to go forward, I get the same message. Question: (i) is it my PC/software (Vista), (ii) is the site where I'm trying to submit the form, or (iii) is it the software acrobat reader. Note that I used successfully the last version to fill out and sign forms.

    It is none of them. It's Chrome, which is ignoring Adobe Reader and showing the message.

    Solution: just save the document (with the message) to your desktop. Then open it in Adobe Reader. The 'real' should then display.

  • 7280 HP displays a blank page before every printed page

    Newly installed 7280 works very well, but whenever something is printed, it displays a blank page before every printed page. It is true that printing from Word, IE, Outlook, Quicken, Photoshop, etc.

    I checked all the likely culprits in dialog boxes of printing, including turning off the option of separator Page.

    Any thoughts?

    your computers are running windows XP or Vista? because in Vista, if she uses the pre-installed drivers that come with the operating system, then it prints white sheets between printed sheets. If you install the driver on the CD directly, then it solved the issue many times for me.

    so, for the properties of the printer, then go to the Advanced Options tab and click new driver. and in the wizard, select HP Photosmart 'C7200' and not Photosmart '7200' (this is the Photosmart C7280 considering). It should work.

  • Get java & quot; System.out.println & quot; content in a CF model

    All,
    I am a newbie to CF/JAVA integration and inherited about 20 java applications that are called from a template CF. abounding in all the java code (in hundreds of places) it is System.out.println () statements. So far I have not been able to get this output to display on the web page.

    CF Code:

    < CFSET UploadName = UploadsDir & "-" & cffile.serverFile >
    < CFSET ExceptionName = UploadsDir & "-" & ExPrefix & BaseName >
    < cfobject type = 'java' name = "UploadObject" class = "UploadProgram" action = "crΘer" >
    < cfset params = ArrayNew (1) >
    < cfset params [1] = UploadName >
    < cfset params [2] = ExceptionName >
    #UploadObject.main (params) #.

    Excerpt from Java:

    System.out.println("");
    System.out.println (recCount + "entry" records);
    System.out.println (hdrCount + "header");
    System.out.println ("good" account +);
    System.out.println (errCount + "bad");
    System.out.println (ignCount + "ignored");
    System.out.println("");
    System.out.Flush ();

    Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

    I have it!

    I finally understand how to redirect the output stream, then return the var. toString().

    Java:

    public static main (String [] args) String
    throws the Exception
    {
    ByteArrayOutputStream outstream = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
    PrintStream ps = new PrintStream (outstream);
    System.setOut (ps);

    If (args.length< 1="">
    {
    System.out.println ("use: java InetLoad inet_sales_spreadsheet");
    Return (outStream.ToString ());
    }
    inetLoad.run ();
    Return (outStream.ToString ());
    }

    CF:

    #UploadObject.main (params) #.

    Time for a beer.

When running, I see only "run bpelx:exec" when I click on the java embedding step, I see quite the value of "xmlString. How can I see the value created breast this java embedding stage. System.out.println is not the answer I'm looking for.

    Use addAuditTrailEntry which will put your output as part of audit trail
    addAuditTrailEntry ("output:" + variableData)

    OR

    System.out.println

    It will be printed in the console.

  • Using FTPClient on a real time with system Exec.vi

    How can I tell FTPClient.exe address target when I start this executable with system Exec.vi in Labview? I don't want to reinvent the file FTP utility used by MAX with targets in real time. I want to run this executable to a labview support utility without using MAX to do.

    Is this possible?

    Danny

    Thanks for the info. Your "bad mood" response "suggests" a response to my question. However, the full answer to my original question is that it is not possible to use FTPClient.exe outside MAX. It is therefore not possible to spend in the address target at run time if the FTPClient.exe runs external to MAX. FileZilla is a good choice - there are also other FTP clients out there, but you pointed out a solid choice. Thank you.
