• Display all the fields in a column

  I have a standard report and on the one hand of the columns (status), I have 3 domains. lets say 'won', 'lost', 'draw' with their respective w, l, d codes displayed in the report.
  When I try to insert a new record, it displays only the 'draw' (d) case. the other two cases also get inserted but does not appear on the report. the research too does not detect the other two.
  
  How can I get the other two fields also appear in the cloumn (status) on the report on the home page.

  With a dynamic lov, you want your column display or "D" is the name (which is meaningful to the user) and the column back or 'R' is the one that will be the value stored in the database column.

  So, you can

  Draw  D
  Won   W
  Lost  L
  

  I don't know why the Select list that displays on the form (using the dynamic LOV) displays all the values that are output when you run the same query on the DB schema.

  Maybe try to create an another NEW LOV in APEX shared components and see how it goes?

  When I run the user interface and click on a button that is sweeping the voltage for a period of time, I can't press any other button that sits on my Panel, lets say the Abort button that would prevent the action.

  So when I take the data and I realize that I should stop him before he finishes the scan, I can't and it's a really bad drawback.

  Hi m.s.taba,

  It seems to me that your code runs the function leave but does not exit the loop you are, then the program stops at the end of the loop.

  To avoid this, you can:

  • use a global variable to the time your long recall and the recall of quit smoking
  • Call ProcessSytemEvents in the loop
  • reminder for the button leave defines the global variable
  • inside the loop, immediately after ProcessSystemEvents, you should test the value of the variable, and if the value you must break out of the loop
  • only after the exit of the loop, you can complete your program

  I have a report that includes the revenue column, which displays the thousads values (field name is 'Product revenue (000)'). The values in this column are displayed as 13.42 USD.
  
  I want the full amount to be displayed as 13420 USD. Trying to multiply the existing with 1000 field but in this case, the value is displayed as 13420, the USD part is missing.
  
  Please confirm how to display the name of the currency as well as a full number data.

  If you click the hand for this column and select the 3 tab, you can change the format of how the currency poster field.

  If you do not have a Security tab, and then you use XP Home or you did not disable Simple file sharing in XP Pro.

  Your question is confusing. If the user chooses a folder then they will see the name of the file and the full path.

  You could reference on behalf of display system for the drive itself. If that's what you want, you need to add the code to get this name and display it to the user. The dialog box will not appear the display name.

  For example if I have a map drive z on the drive c from another computer I can get this drive name from how it is displayed:

• Clash of the content on click of a button?

  I create a Web site with an area of content and 4 buttons which activate the 4 pages of content. I wish that the content area to resize smaller on one page when activated by a button and resize back to normal when a button is clicked. I think I'll use a shape tween to resize the area to avoid deformation. So, how can I program it each key to transition correctly if the page with the smallest box is displayed?

  There are two approaches to get resize with its right side being the fixed side, or more...

  (1) return the element horizontally

  or

  (2) inside of the item, move it so that the 0,0 registration point is on the right side

  I work with Oracle 10 g of reports and have a report that has already been created.  I need to increase the size of a field from 50 to 200 in width to accommodate a change in database.  When I click on the field and click Properties, the value of width is locked.  How can I change this?

  make a tiny tiny change, maybe add a space, or something between two words. you might even be able to cancel your change (remove the space).

  Is there a code to hide a field when you leave a page in Acrobat format?

  I have a button that displays a field when the field is clicked it closes. But if the user does not click on it and let the page remains open.  For example, I'm on page 6 document, and click on the button to display the field. Then I moved to page 7 and then I go back to page 6 and it is always open.

  I'm trying to figure out how to close the field when you leave the page if the user does not close it.

• Strange behavior of validation with the fields 'user entered - required '.

  I have a situation where I have a form with several 'user entered - required"text fields  Some required fields are pre-populated by a server process before being presented to a user in the workspace.  When the user fills the remaining fields and submits the form (by clicking the button "Done" in the workspace), the of standard validation 'required' message, even if all required fields contain data.

  The shape where I discovered this problem is moderately complex, so I built a form simple and process to try to understand what is happening.  The simple form contains exactly two text fields, both are user entered - required.  A field is filled by a server process when the task of the associated workspace is called, B field must be filled in by the user.  There is no script customized beyond the bridge of form and a Submit button.  It's about as simple as it gets.

  If the field is filled, and then the user fills B field and click on 'Finish', the message appears saying 'at least one required field is empty... "even if the two fields contain data.

  If I return to the form and remove the B field (and redeploy the form and remember the process), to field is pre-filled and the user clicks on 'Finish', no message is displayed and the form is sent.

  As far as I know, the built-in for required fields validation works correctly only if all fields are pre-filled or none of them are pre-filled.

  Can someone explain what is happening?

  EDIT: I forgot to mention, I also created and configured an extract of the data for the simple form.  The data preview only contains a value for the to field.  When displayed in the preview of the Designer tab, everything works as expected.

  After a little work I have a better understanding of what is happening and a solution.  I have scripted several calls to xfa.host.messageBox (...) on different events.  It turns out that the pre-filled fields are not the culprit - they have values as expected.  The problem is with the non-pre-filled fields, and and a subtle behavior of the event model that causes a problem when using the workspace INTERFACE (at least on SS3).  Field values may not be resolved until a field loses focus (for example when a user moves to another field, or click a button).  Form used outside of the workspace, by clicking a "submit" button causes the focus to move to the button, which causes the values to be bound to the fields.

  Solution: Use an indirect Submit on the form button and submit indirect click handler used (in addition to your normal code):

  xfa.resolveNode("[[fully qualified name of the real submit button]]").execEvent("click");
  

  Working space should detect and then make an Indirect button and run the associated click Manager, claiming in turn the form submit true button.

  This is where begins the next bit of fun: there is a bug in the form bridge (at least in the ES3 version) code prevents him from indirect detection submit buttons when you use JavaScript as a language Manager click of the button and

  Here is my hack to solve this issue:

  1. Open the 'ContainerFoundation_JS' script in the Script of Designer Editor
  2. Ignore the warning at the top of the file
  3. Find the named function: isIndirectSubmitEvent (it's on the line 1512 or something)
  4. Change the line that reads:

       TO:

       if (script.indexOf(button.name + ".execEvent") != -1 || script.indexOf(button.name + "\").execEvent") != -1) {
       

  5. Save and deploy the form
