Display user name if the user is logged on?

Hello

I have great difficulty trying to get my pages to show if someone is logged.

For example:

Welcome (username)

or

You are currently logged in as (username)

I want it to display their username if the are connected.

You can refer to the image I have uploaded.

Help, please.

Thank you.

You can simply use the session. For example, you can put it like that if you are using the PHP programming language.

Hello !

But make sure u put this code at the beginning of your code.

If (! isset {})
session_start();
}

  • Change the username on the start to something else, as the name of the computer

    I'm on a domain.
I would like to change the username on the start menu for anything other than the username.
User ID would be ok. Name of the computer would be even better.
I see a number of things that could go instead.
    How is that possible?

It would be nice to be able to customize the name of this poster in the startmenu.
Too bad Microsoft don't think that in time there is.

Windows XP puts the name of the person currently logged on to the system at the top of the start menu. The reason for this is to make it easier to say that the user is connected to a Windows XP system that is configured with multiple users. However, if you are the only person using the computer, you don't really need to have your name at the top of the menu start. You can remove it by using the Group Policy console (Microsoft Management Console snap-in used to edit Group Policy objects).

    1. Start the Group Policy console (Gpedit.msc).
    2. Go to User Configuration | Administrative templates | Start menu and taskbar.
    3. Find and double-click the setting remove the username from the Start Menu.
    4. Select the active option button, and then click OK.
    5. Exit the Group Policy console. The change will take place immediately.

Note: This tip only applies to Windows XP Professional.

  • Display parent next to the child in the row header

    Hello-

I have a dimension in a cube of ASO, who has dozens of children for each of the thousands of parents. I'm writing a report of financial information that indicates the members of level 0 and displays their name of the mother next to them in the report rows (these names parent would be descriptors for the benefit of the user - data will still be level 0). I'm not able to find any variation of MemberProperty in a text column that can do this, nor any formula in the row header. I plan to redraw the cube to these children and their parents in separate dimensions, but fighting which makes sense to me, because they have a perfect parent/child relationship. Can anyone suggest a way around this? I thank very you much for your time.

    -Rob

Have you considered creating another table of aliases that concatenates the Parent and child for the Alias.

  • To display the name of the user rather than the user name

When I connect in the workspace it display the user name in the upper right of the page. But I want to display the name of the person instead of user name

This feature is available in 11.1.2.1, I'm not sure, but assume that it is not possible in previous versions.

    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E17236_01/EPM.1112/bpmui_admin/ch03s04s01.html

Activate the user display name by default the value is no if set to Yes, the full user name appears in the welcome message box in the upper right of the EMP workspace. The name usually consists of first and last name. For example, when the value is set to Yes, recorded as John Smith is displayed instead of log on as JSMITH.

  • I noticed that my user name in the C drive has disappeared and is displayed under the desk

original title: save files on the net / backup of the files in the C drive

These 20 to 30 days, I noticed that my user name in the C drive has disappeared and is displayed under the desk. In addition, whenever I try to save a file on the net on my laptop, this allows me to record only at this location:

    C:\Users\vijai\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Virtualized\C\Users\vijai\Documents

Also in the Solution Explorer, while all other folders category, like documents, pictures, music etc appear in the left panel, these do not appear in the right panel. I also note that a "Application Data" folder appeared under my user name and all files stored in this folder only.

Can someone help me solve this problem

    Hi, VIJAIRAGHAVANP V,.

You can try the following steps and check.

    Method 1:

You can try a system restore to a prior restore point before you have been affected by the issue.

Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

To run the system restore, you can consult the following link:

    System restore

    System Restore: frequently asked questions

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/system-restore-frequently-asked-questions

    Method 2:

If you are still facing problems then try creating a new user account and check if the problem occurs:

    Create a user account

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/create-a-user-account

If you are not faced with any issue, then check out the following link to correct a damaged account.

    Fix a corrupted user profile:

    Hope this information helps.

  • Account name My Vista "a name of the user [name] account log does not exist on Windows Home Server" is not, despite the change.

My Windows Home Server (WHS) prefer the same name of user account on all computers that I use - for the connection and easier access to the files. So to my Vista computer, I changed my account [ancien_nom] name [name]. Vista indicates the name of the new account everywhere but the server after a while (!) stopped recognizing my account and complains about "a name of the user [name] account log does not exist on Windows Home Server" suggesting I should change the name of the account on the ESM. Since I have other computers where I can't change the name of the account (work computer), for this purpose I changed the name of the account on my Vista computer.

The reason why the WHS could work properly at the beginning maybe I can connect to the WHS folders in a separate process by using the new account name. Choose to save the password - which might have worked for a while, but no more. I also tried to connect as a network device, but I do not correctly reconnect with the identification information data (and saved).

1 is the name of initial account stored anywhere even if I changed and the reason why it can pop as in this case?

    2. any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    3. or is the problem only on the side WHS - then I might have to turn to a WHS forum

  • Manager not an event trigger in the field display name of the user registration form

    Hello

I want to customize the display as name lastname.first name field in the user registration form.

so i have creates a process Manager field events, but this isn't the trigger to the full name field, he demonstrated error ion Orchestra.

But even when I went with first name , it's showing form name.first perfectly.

can anyone help me on that there is any event triggered default and does not allow to create a custom event on the display name field.

    Thank you

Display name must be placed in a Hashtable as follows:

    Map dispNameMap = new HashMap();
dispNameMap.put ("base", lastName + "" + firstName); then pass this card as:

    Parameters.put ("Display Name", dispNameMap);

  • How to get the host name of the physical computer inside a virtual machine until the user logs in Windows?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this question, I develop software to support VMWare PCoIP and need to know how to get the host name of the physical machine (which manages the virtual machine and View Client) within a virtual machine before the user logs in Windows of the virtual machine.

I understand there are two ways to read the host name, via the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Volatile Environment registry and environment variables, but they are available once the user is connected. I need info before the user connects.

Is there a VMware API that can be called or asked the host name?

    Thank you.

Not on the broker, but there are the startup scripts to log on to the computer virtual itself: http://pubs.vmware.com/view-52/topic/com.vmware.view.integration.doc/view_integration_startsession_script.9.2.html

Note that these executed when a virtual desktop computer allocated connection, not to the point that the client connects - it is possible for the customer to not complete the connection (crash, cancel, network failure) and so any what solution you design must handle this.

  • Frustrated - how can it be difficult - I want to just display the name of the users.

I don't understand. Why its so difficult to simply display a username at the end of a quiz. I tried all day!  I use A4. I tried to use a text input box but cannot find how to get the entry to view the quiz results page.  This task is so easy using Trainersoft and Courselab. Can someone help please.

    Ken

    Hi Ken,

On the first slide, add a box to input text and using the tab Options make you you disable Validate user input options. I would also say that you keep the option button selected. Then, in the Advanced tab of the text entry box, enter the name of your variable such that "jullymornau" click OK. Now on the last slide Add a text caption. In the text of the Caption dialog box, click the last button labeled "insert Variable" by default your user variable such as "jullymornau" should appear in the menu variables, just click OK.

Now when you preview, you should be able to insert a name. When you click the button, you just move to the next slide in your project. On the last slide the name you entered in the text box entry, must be included in the text of the legend.

    HTH

    Best - Mark
