Display view name - basic Question

Hi guys

I have vmware view 3.1.2 using vmware composer

someone who made me 2 pools.

1-110 users - Unique ID of pool: pool-Marketing - full name: Marketing

Unique 2-50 users-ID pool: pool-Marketing-2 - full name: Marketing-2

The two pools are entitled to the same users, my question is very simple, but because the environment is on the rise and running

If I change the display name of the second pool of Marketing-2 to Marketing?

Let's all virtual office - total 160 - being under Marketing on my wyses? I mean all these 160 virtual desktop will be available for my users? or ITI will continue to have only 110?

Can I change this during work hours?

Thank you very much

If you change the display name of the second pool must match that of the first pool, you will have just two pools in your list of pool called Marketing.  If you are looking to combine the pools I just disable the second pool and increase the capacity of the first pool to 160.

  • Displays the name of the report in the view 'no result '.

    Hi guys,.

    It's 10.1.3.4.1

In the * 'No result' view *: is it possible to retrieve and display the name of responses dynamically?

    I found two sons:

Do not change the default value, no results text
    http://forums.Oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?MessageID=8312398 & #8312398

Show the title of the report (header) when no results
    http://forums.Oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?MessageID=4575238 & #4575238

but these solutions require customization on a per report basis, and the name of the application must be hardcoded.

Ideally, I would like to have something like:

    ' Not found for report < script type = "text/javascript" > print report.name < /script > '

I can actually put in the noresults.xml file, which would affect all applications that include the display 'no result '. Replace the section of scorecard or hard code them the name of the application in the results not seen is not easy to manage.

    Any ideas or recommendations?

    Thank you, best regards.
    Alex. -.

    Hi Alex,

Ideally, I would like to have something like:

' Not found for report '

First thing is seen results no. He's not accepting the "HTML/JavaScript", so we cannot reach the above syntax

Second... There is no option available in results view dynamic name no.

You can do this for the title, but as you say manual labor he's be there

    Thank you

The same situation when I want to send pictures to cell phone on my laptop. I didn't find any option how to change.

When I send photos from mobile to mobile phone laptop computer (device name) name is displayed. Try to check the properties of the external device. Maybe you will find way to change this.

  • View assessment - three questions

    Hello

I'm going through an eval of view and three questions came so he was working on an external access via the Security server in our DMZ.

    1. with the help of this article: VMware KB: guidelines for the production and importation of a SSL certificate for the view view connection Server 5.0.1... I bought a certificate from an external certification authority (Thawte) and imported into the keystore on the Security server.  I created the file locked.properties in C:\Program VMware View\Server\sslgateway\conf.  After the reboot of the Security Server, it always seems to use its self-signed certificate.  Are there any other missing stage of this document?  I stumbled upon the blog of a guy who runs it without keytool, and one of its not said that the friendly name on the cert should be vdm... don't know if this is specific to its environment, or a requirement of VMWare.

    2. I was able to connect to the customer external Horizon once recognizing that certificate signed by the self was not reliable.  However if I boot a desktop computer from the pool of bound using PCoIP clone it does not connect.  Looks like it connects (the screen goes black and I get the bar of high control of the screen, but then it closes and I get a message saying "' the connection to the remote computer has finished".  I guess it's a firewall issue, and I watched http://blogs.vmware.com/consulting/files/2014/06/Horizon-6-Firewall-3.png and Ports UDP and TCP of the view.  I'm fairly certain that I had all of them.  For PCoIP, is all that I need to open TCP/UDP 4172 external in the Security Server and the server safe for virtual desktops?

    3. If I change the Protocol Microsoft RDP, the work of connection from the outside, but I get a permissions error when it starts to connect to the desktop computer saying that I must be in the remote desktop users group.  I am able to connect to the same mass of Clone bound since an internal machine using the same credentials if.  Is there something different about how the bureau is launching externally vs. in-house?

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Dylan

    1. the friendly name of the certificate must be "vdm".

This is how see selects the right certificate.

2 how get a black screen when you connect, is almost always a firewall problem. Apart from rules, check that you have correctly configured the public url. in the administration page under view-> server configuration.

  • Entities does not Contribution - very basic question

    Hi guys,.

My apologies for this very basic question: I am very new to Hyperion, with just one week of training! Anyway, I'm building a basic model and have noticed that my features are not in the dimension value roll altogether the [Contribution]. This means that entities do not roll upwards!

It was suggested that problem was that I needed a Sub consolidate in the rules, but I put the attribute 'ConsolidationRules' = n. In the documentation it is defined as "N to use the consolidation by default and eliminations".

I was wondering is there anything else that is needed to use default groups, or do I need to create rules?

    Thank you
    G

Why do you think that's not driving? If your building rules are set to "n" you don't need rules.

Make sure that your presentation was made to IsConsoldiate. Make sure that you're displaying a "Parent.Child" to total Contribution.

  • Re - Group E-mail: I'm Ok with sending messages as bcc, but I'd rather display all names, but none e-mail address. Possible?

I set up the list to display the names for each Member. My account displays the names of more star when I send a mail, but when the answers back to me, all addresses are displayed.

    In the "address book".

    • Select the address book
    • Double-click the contact to change
    • Full name: this is the name that will appear in the fields of THE and at THE.
    • Select: "always prefer full name on the message header.

If you receive emails that do not display the "display name, but there is a yellow star after the email address, then you have more than one entry for this contact, perhaps in a different address book." So check all the books including "Collected addresses" address to this email address.

If there is a yellow star next to the address in the email received, so that email address is in an address book. If there is no yellow star, then that email address is not in an address book.

  • Basic questions Profibus

I have a few basic questions about Profibus. We seek to develop a system that uses this form of communication, but we need a few questions answered in a broad sense, until we can move forward.

How fast can it reliable to deal with a large amount of data while contained in an executable multithreaded great? Our typical executables are 7 500 KB and must run on a Pentium 4 PC indefinitely without triggering more than 20% CPU. Given this constriant and my general lack of familiarity with the technology / Protocol, how fast can go us? 100ms? 5ms? 1ms?

Do I need any special software packages? Can I expect
the developer of the Profibus card to provide the essential in software
    LabVIEW?

We use LabVIEW 8.2.1; is it reasonable to expect a profibus card manufacturer to get the code for this version of the software, or is it possible that we have to upgrade?

    Hi BobChuck,

PROFIBUS boards run the Protocol on board, with resulting very low CPU usage. If you buy a Profibus from a seller at random, you should be able to access the Profibus OPC server which should benefit from this provider. In such a scenario, you can expect the flow of data between 10 ms and ms 200 for all data (depending on the amount of data, the baud rate, implementation of the OPC Server and so on).

With a card Profibus of NOR comes a set of screws that will interface directly to the Board of Directors, leading at the speed of communication much more high. This can be as low as 1 ms for all data, but there still depends on several factors. Still, you should expect a 10 x performance gain using the LabVIEW interface directly from the OPC. In addition these boards can also be used with LabVIEW RealTime.

    Kind regards

  • How to display the name of my refnum on the front?

I write data to a file. To do this, I use ' Open/create/replace the file' to prompt the user for a file name, which is then out of my VI as a refnum. I then write strings in this file with "write to a text file.

How to display the name of the file (including the path) on the front panel once the user has entered it?

    Michael

Use the Refnum at the path of e/s from file-> advanced file palette. You can wire it to a path indicator.

  • Change the path where Windows search displays directory name

    Dear Sir

I'm regularly using Windows search and I am facing some problems with the way the folder names appear.

Imagine the following situation: I have three files, called text.txt, located in the following directories:

    D:\Folder_A\SubFolder_1

    D:\Folder_A\SubFolder_2

    D:\Folder_B\SubFolder_1

When I launch a Windows search to find these files, I will get answers in the column 'file ':

    SubFolder_1 (D:\Folder_A)

    SubFolder_2 (D:\Folder_A)

    SubFolder_1 (D:\Folder_B)

When I then click on the "Folder" column header to sort, I will get following result:

    SubFolder_1 (D:\Folder_A)

    SubFolder_1 (D:\Folder_B)

    SubFolder_2 (D:\Folder_A)

This way of sorting mix main directories "D:\Folder_A" and "D:\Folder_B", which is false.

This problem is due to the fact that the names of directories are not displayed as '' but as ' ()", which is not what I want.

Is it possible (as a registry key) where I can configure my Windows 7 to display the names of directory as '' (as in previous versions of Windows)?

    Thank you

Right-click a column header and choose "More"... "since the menu drop down.

In the choice, find the path and turn it on.  When you click OK, the new column 'path' will be the one you like (showing the full path).  Example:

  • Z10 Z10 ILA BlackBerry does not display the name of the caller of the stored contacts.

My Z10 does not display the names of the callers stored in contacts with a prefix or area code. For example, an incoming call on contact JOHN SMITH, whose number is stored as + 44 7976 667668 shows not her name but just 07976 667668, but if the number of JOHN SMITH has been stored as 07976 667668 (without + 44) then the incoming call appears her name. Does anyone know how to remedy this? or is it a design error / omission by RIM?

This is a known issue with the software currently.  Please visit KB33685

  • Computer can not display the name of the network to which it is connected.

Hello, I'm able to get a stable access to the internet with my computer, but instead of display the name of the network, I am connected to (for reference, it is DGVB1), it says "Network 2" of what I have been able to deduce the Korean. This is why I can't connect to this computer in my homegroup?

    Clueless,

    Brian

It was surprising, but I got the computer change the name of "Network 2" to "DGVB1," my SSID, which, for some reason, let it be detected and therefore be welcomed into the group. Weird, but at least it worked. The next issue, I'll try and work on East printers, which I believe that Norton 360 can be bothered to. in any case, thanks for the help :DD

I created my keyboard with "Microsoft keyboard layout creator v.14" and I create the package. It works fine but does not display the name of my keyboard on the language bar on the taskbar

    Hello

Follow these steps and check if that helps.

    (a) click Start and type area and the language in the search bar and press to enter.

    (b) go to keyboards and languages tab.

    (c) click on change keyboards.

    (d) now, click Add.

    (e) now under any input language, you have chosen who find and choose keyboard.

    (f) ensure that all options are listed.

    (g) if there is a check mark in the United States remove it and place a check next to the language and click Ok.

    (h) now you can check cross if the preview shows you the correct layout.
