  This started happening recently on my father 15 "retina Macbook Pro race El Capitan 10.11.3: when it starts to mail, the main display window does not appear.

  It's there, but invisible: I know because by selecting "Minimize" from the [Windows] menu in mail brings up for a fraction of a second before it zoomed down to the Dock. Once there, you can click the icon in the Dock and it zooms out on the screen, after which things work normally.

  1. Abandonment of post
  2. Move ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail to the desktop.

  In the print menu, check "scale to fit media" under the Position and size of the device and then check out.

  If you want the area selected for printing, check "Print selected area" under the Position and size and specify the size.

  Driver ATI 8.452 - 080109 is available too.
  Its a previous version and I recommend to test the unit by using this version of the driver

  Are you able to boot from your Vista DVD or recovery partion and run the Startup Repair tool?  If you do not have a Vista disc so make sure that your computer is configured to boot from the CD drive before booting from the hard drive.  Once you start with support for Vista select the "Repair your computer" option and first run "Startup Repair".  If that is not correct the problem then boot with Vista support and select the option "System Restore" and choose a date prior to the update install.
  Once you are able to boot normally again, then I suggest that you are looking for virus\malware.  SP1 was released in April 2008.  So if you install earlier means there may be other problems on your system.  If you have a backup of your current personal data then I recommend to do a clean restore to install\factory.  Then immediately install antivirus software, and then do all Windows updates before installing other software.   Okay, I found the solution. In fact, the Haswell Intel i5 processor that my 15 HP D103TX has also comes with an Intel 4600 GPU intregated. So when I do normal tasks, the GPU intregated works, so Windows does not display the NVIDIA GPU 820M, but when I play a game or doing intense graphics work, he switches to the NVIDIA one.
