Windows does not load and displays a black screen when it is connected to the power supply
Original title - Windows Vista running on my laptop Sony VAIO
Trying to turn on my laptop using the built in battery nothing happens. When the laptop is connected to the power supply and turned on Windows does not. It shows something in the sense that it does not properly off. It tries to load back to a system restore point before the last stop, but seems to fail again during this process. All that is displayed is a black screen. Currently the power on light is on, the battery light is on, but the drive activity light is off.
Yet once again, I switched on the laptop and finally the Startup Repair process is automatically called. After the display of the bar to attempt repairs, the system has been repaired successfully. As a result, the I ran my Norton anti-virus, followed by Windows Updatesoftware.

Recently, the pc started having problems with the internet. I have wireless internet set up, and AOL installed on the computer. A few months ago I started having difficulty opening Web sites. I could access my AOL email, but if I tried to go to a Web site, the page would not, it would be just stuck, the same thing would happen if I tried to access Web sites using Internet Explorer. But the computer itself (Word, etc.) was working again fine. Note that since my laptop, internet works fine.
then the other day, I turned on the computer and Windows will not load, it keeps looping of the start screen of Windows to a black screen with an option to press F2 to just recovery, then passes to the other black screen with 2 options - F5 to start something and another option, don't remember now. He kept going just these screens again and again.

The window does not load and the points on a single screen.
Recently, I was playing a game on my computer and all of a sudden it crashed. I thought that it was weird and turned off the coast of my computer and back on and joined the same game and same server and he did it again. I tried a different game and it does the same thing, but after that, I would get points on my screen to load as such http://oi56.tinypic.com/6s57d2.jpg . And after that, it would get stuck on the Windows splash screen, however there was no points on that or any other screen just as charging one with Asus. System Restore and Startup Repair do not fix something or the other.
Windows would load correctly at the beginning of fashion and from time to time without danger when safe mode restarts. I have updated the drivers once for my card (geforce 8500) and even if it has been updated and the screen flickered, and instead of going back to normal, the screen turned red and other colors. A little later, I restarted my computer again and it worked to load up and I updated the driver again and this time he did nothing like that and seemed fine, I loaded a game again and it froze and crashed after about a minute.
I decided to try to reformat my computer since I backed up my files that I wanted and needed. However, when it restarted to complete the installation I always the screen with dots and it does boot to windows and will not complete the installation because windows cannot finish it in safe mode. I wonder what could be the main cause of this.
You do not give the make and model of your computer.
It looks like a hardware problem, not Windows. You have to find a store near you and to have the problem diagnosed. I suspect that it is the failure of hard drive and if you continue to exercise hard disk that may fail completely and you would not be able to recover your valuable data.

Hello
I saw this kinds of problems occur with the power strips and even UPS systems. And some similar questions have
been solved using them actually, especially the UPS. If the power strip has important circuit protection
He'll probably bad or you have very low power at first on this AC circuit.Solution is not to use the tape and maybe get a UPS with brown-out solution.
I hope this helps.

Windows defender does not load and cannot download Adobe flash player
I think I have a security problem with windows defender, because it does not load. In addition, a file I have download must have the permissions of the administrator to continue, which was also changed and I had checked him to ask permission. For this reason, I can't download adobe reader. It has an error that keeps coming back whenever I try to download it, and after I executed the file, he's just in a display type of backup file, where it was downloaded, but it will not work on the second stage, when you need the permission of an administrator. I has not yet come. Can someone tell me what to do?
"It is said that I need adobe flash player.
Download and run the Flash Player uninstaller program.

Satellite A215 S6816 won't mode BIOS and Windows does not load
Hello
I'm helping a friend to determine what the problem could be on his laptop satellite A215 - S6816 Windows does not load on start up and it says "press F2 for Setup, press F12 for the boot device selection menu" but niether one of these options works no matter what I do.
I tried them on start up but nothing happens. It will be not just to enter mode BIOS or the menu. It will say please wait or entering the menue, but yet again, nothing happens.
What else can I try to enter the menu, either to get the system to get windows to load? This could be a motherboard problem? Hard drive problem? Thanks in advance.
Hello
If you are unable to access the BIOS, or to load the Windows operating system, and then a serious hardware problem is present.
Eventually he s a motherboard related question that means it could be a faulty motherboard or just a small part of the motherboard as a ROM chip for example.
I doubt this can be fixed without help the ASP.There is thus only one real solution. go to ASP. Guys must verify the simple parts to determine what part is affected.
Good luck

I have windows 8 and ip4000. The software does not load and it doesn't seem to be a driver for 8 64-bit windows. What can I do?
Hello
I had the same problem. I was able to get around by loading the driver for Windows XP 64 bit from the Canon web site and then install the printer using the normal menu of 'install new printer' Windows 8. If I remember correctly, I could have gotten an error message or two, but the printer appears in the printer window and ran very well. Hope this works for you as well. -

Hello
Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community
I understand that you are facing the problem with win 10 in SafeMode as normal mode
Please answer these questions to better understand the issue and help you:- You have the disc of windows 7 installation?
I want to suggest everything first, disconnect any external devices (Cd/DVD, USB key, webcam, memory card reader, etc.), except the mouse and keyboard and try to start.
Now press Ctrl + Shift + ESC key combination to check if the Task Manager opens.
If you have the Windows 7 installation disc, try to run the Startup Repair tool once more with the disc.
If this does not help, get in safe mode with command prompt and use startup recovery tool to repair windows startup problems -
When I plug my portable hard drive to the usb port it does not read and display the contents...
Hi deaza,.
Ø Have you connected the USB hard drive to the computer directly or you have used an external USB hub to connect?
O trying to connect to another USB port to check if it works?
O the hardrive shows in windows of the computer when you connect it?
Method 1:
If you have installed security software, I suggest you to temporarily disable the security software and connect the USB and check to see if the same problem happens. Make sure that you enable the security software after checking.Alternatively, you can try to plug the USB key into a different USB port and check if it helps.
Method 2:
I suggest trying to launch hardware and troubleshooting of devices and check to see if it helps, here is the link:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/What-to-do-when-a-device-isn ' t-installed-correctlyMethod 3:
If this does not help, then follow these steps:(a) remove all your USB devices. Use the safely remove the feature to turn them off.
(b) open Device Manager and navigate to the section for USB. Uninstall all USB drives. There should be one for each USB port, and then restart.
To open Device Manager, go to the link below and follow the steps:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-Device-Manager
(c) Windows should re - find all of the devices. If it is not the case, note the error message and let us know.
You can also navigate to the link below and follow the steps to install the USB device.

The update does not load, and I can't "remove" program to my computer and reload as the same (needs to restart to complete the installation) error message keeps appearing even after several reboots.
Do a cleaning (re) install and delete the folder of the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.
- Firefox 8.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current version of Firefox if possible.
- Do not remove the data of a personal nature when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.
Your bookmarks and other profile data stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a relocation, but make sure that you do not select delete data of a personal nature if you uninstall Firefox.
