Distiller cannot find its ICC profiles sdandard

I have Acrobat X installed on Windows 7 (x 64) under the CS6 Master collection.

Every 4-5 days for simple navigation, I get a pop up with error:

Distiller cannot find its standard ICC profiles. Please reinstall Adobe Acrobat to fix this problem. And all PDF files does not open until I have reinstall Acrobat. Replace each week is pretty boring, no idea how to get rid of it?

Hey Tatjana.Esin,

Please install the ICC of Distiller profiles of the below given link:

Adobe - ICC profiles: for Windows

Unzip this file and copy all of the .icc files at this location: "C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color".

These new files would probably crush so the 'old' problem.

Please check and let me know.

Kind regards

Ana Maria

  • Cannot find the user profile

After turning on my computer, I try to connect with our user account. an icon appears and says that the user profile is damaged and there could be a security issue.  the following icon says that it cannot find the profile of the user and that a temporary profile has been put up.  I'm trying to get back access to the user profile because he has sensitive information at the time that must be consulted, photos of family and passwords important programs.  I need to know that if there is a way to restore the user profile and retrieve information, the user profile of temporay gives access to certain programs and software, but not the critics.

Damaged profiles are almost always accompanied with alteration of the disc.  In addition to the above (or sometimes instead of him), a check disk with the /f or/r option is highly recommended.  Note that on a large drive or a drive with a lot of problems this audit can take hours and you cannot use your machine while it is in progress.  In addition, there is a small chance that it may be worse, so now is a great time to update your backups.

This Windows XP Home. on a Compaq Presario SR1710NX.  Windows can not find the locally stored profile and logs on to a sense of temporary profile every time that the computer is off all changes is lost.

Your user profile is damaged and you put in a temporary user profile. This is why nothing is saved. Create a new user profile for yourself and copy the data from the old profile to it. After you have all your stuff, you can remove the old corrupted user profile if you wish. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Called Labview VI cannot find its controls or subvi

    My application consists of:

A standalone .exe that calls graphic VI containing generic and VI controls.

My app works very well in the development environment, but when I deploy the secondary can't find it's the generic controls or vi (he uses the paths of the vi of the development environment).

I have included these files in the .exe in the expectation that the sub called vi would know where to find them.

    Alas, this isn't the case.

These controls and vi are used in the usual way, and not by "reference open vi" both trace band style operations are not an option.

    --

A simple solution is to insert multiple copies of them in the library of each auxiliary Panel under vi .llb

These files are generic and used in multiple under vi, in the spirit of reuse and management of the code, this method is a bad habit.

A single vi is a global variable functional, shared between both the appellant and vi.  Who will no doubt shock the code by the performer in 2 separate cases.

    ----

Is there a way for the secondary sub VI to find it's generic controls and VI by calling .exe?

    ---

A solution to this problem would be highly appreciated.

    Tim L.

In my opinion, it is an ugly workaround.

In this example, the same control is present in 2 places, both in the .exe and the .llb

-Perhaps you are missing the point - whether moving the LLBs in the folder with the file EXE solves the problem, then the point is NOT that there is a fix, the point is that something in the LLB is NOT available in the EXE file.

If it is a CONTROL, then maybe it's a TYPEDEF control ' ed, and perhaps the possibility of DISCONNECTING the DEFINITIONS of TYPE kills you.

  • Acrobat 9 Pro... Distiller / ICC profile problem

I have loaded Acrobat 9 Pro 3 times and continue to get following error message every time I reboot computer: "Distiller cannot find your ICC profiles.  Please reinstall the software. "Acrobat opens ok but not print or perfom will perform redirection of email as an attachment. Distiller is won't boot.

Someone at - it a solution?

Adobe technical support has been more helpful on that.  Start by downloading the update

    Distiller ICC profile files to:

    3790 http://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=4075&FILEID=

Unzip the file and copy only the files *.icc (without taking into account the subfolders they are-in other words, take the files out of each of the subfolders) in the folder in Windows 7:

    c:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\color

These new files will cover probably some old ones.

This solves the problem for me.

    ---------------------------------------------------------

It is actually the best solution I found that instead of copy all files for the windows\sys... .icc folder, all you have to do is copy the 3 files of the folder (VideoHD.icc, VideoNTSC.icc and VideoPAL.icc) RGB video.  Once you add these three files to c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\color, you will be ready to go.

It seems that it was a mistake on the part of Adobe, there is no reason to include video files for printing.  Nevertheless, the Distiller will search these and return the error of ICC profile, if these files are not present.

    Hi tripleb316,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.
