  Yesterday, several patched have been applied and the problem came back. The patches are: KB2862152, KB2868626, KB3163244, KB3168965, KB3170455, KB3163251.

  I saw yet no acknowledgement or difficulty of Microsoft. I prefer not to uninstall security patches, but it is a problem of production.

  Any ideas what specific patch maybe breaking it again?

  When you use the period of Parental control feature, acct of my child receives the 15 min and 1 put min warning, and then the closure of the session. However, any Web site that it has a really annoying music keeps playing even when I connected under my account admin the only way I can disconnect the acct with Parental control game is to restart my whole machine. Is there another way to disconnect the user standard acct with this feature of limitation in time game? THX.

  This is the problem of design, the session remains active in the background, however, so the next time they connect, they can pick up where they left off without losing any of their work.

  In case if you complete the program, there is no these settings in the parental control to close the program, you can disconnect the program using the Task Manager.

• When to use ProvisionUsers.cmd vs CubeRefresh.cmd user filter Refresh for Essbase

  There are times when we add a new dimension to the Version of our planning application and apply security to this new version.  This happens in the middle of the day when users can be connected to the planning of an application, or possibly using SmartView.  We do an update of the database to synchronize the outline for Essbase, which takes a few minutes to process.  However, when refresh us user planning security we had questions for the security update complete.  Sometimes we kill the process, after that it ran for 45 minutes to an hour and ends.  Do not know what is causing this problem if it is related to the users are logged on via SmartView or not (any way to control this process?).

  Also, several security changes happens through shared Services as users change from groups or need extra or the removal of security on a basis continues.  We have a very stable process that morning of evry of tracks (01:00) which takes about 15 minutes to update security for planning applications six planning to Essbase by using the 'CubeRefresh.cmd' utility with the "/ F" filter option. This script running even in the middle of the day hangs up sometimes when we try to update to the application that have changed the dimension.  I came across the "ProvisionUsers.cmd" utility of planning.  I understand that the CubeRefresh.cmd is used to update the database as security filters.  I was wondering for the synchronization of security filter is more effective or safer run the 'ProvisionUsers.cmd' rather than the cuberefresh.cm?  What is the advantage of using one against the other?

  We are on Hyperion essbase/planning version 11.1.2.1.

  I suggest to keep the planning application owner or administrator of the application access control... in order to avoid any connection of the user on the planning in this activity...

  Also, I like Vincent solution to clear all sessions of the user part and a disconnection essbase before refresh security running.

  Windows Media Player has somehow forgotten how to play wav or midi files. Doubleclicking either of these file types give an error "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or does not support the codec used to compress the file. " There is a button 'Close' and 'Web Help' which still informs me, "you met the C00D1199 error message... ". ». Following the advice given nothing less than useful.

  I can easily play these files with RealPlayer or VLC so I don't think it's a driver problem, and it wasn't a corruption right after installing the other players. WMP seems to work OK when playing music or AVI. And there is no harm to hear a sound (wav or midi) in Windows for various system events. Have already uninstalled/reinstalled WMP without result.

  I have since determeined the problem comes from an updated codec package I installed a few weeks ago. These codecs were from Shark007 which I believe is a Microsoft MVP. Use the codecs from this site for a number of years without any problems so I did not initially suspect it was the source of the problem. I uninstalled the codec pack and installed K-light package and everything seems to be Ok now. Now, I'll be in contact with the members of this forum.

  As far as I know, there is nothing forcing you to unleash in the same or in front of the order in which you have acquired in. Frankly, in our plugin gain us once, then lock the plugin to prevent it from unloading and don't release suites when we finished. That said, as far as I know, you should be fine to learn/work/output several times.

  I understand that this has been a matter of repetition and I made the suggestions listed and nothing works. This just started happening, although downloading songs, and once they are finished I'm not able to play them with Windows Media Player.   You may find that you are getting this message in Windows Media Player due to one of the following reasons.

  a. you try to play a file that is not supported by the player.

  b. you are trying to play a file that the player does not support, but the file was compressed by using a codec that is not supported by the player.

  Step 1:

  Confirm that you are trying to play a supported file type. The following article lists the types of files (formats) supported by Windows Media Player.

  Make sure ORACLE_HOME is exactly the same between 2 environments: note that an end "/" is not necessary and that ending ' / ' could trigger ORA-01034.

• When to use c / python instead of LabVIEW

  I was recently asked when you use python/c and not of LabVIEW.

  As someone who has worked with LabVIEW Kool for awhile I found difficult to answer as it seems to be very few restrictions to what labVIEW can achieve.

  LabVIEW is obviously ideal for test of manufacturing, control systems, rapid prototyping systems, develop ideas, and I even used to generate executables to decrypt the data of wireshark, editing MySQL databases, programs of encryption, etc..

  However, in my head at the following spring to mind that could impose a project to lean towards python.

  1 development license (free vs. paid)

  2 drive - engine labVIEW run requires a lot of space

  3 MCU / smart phones, in particular, could benefit from C / python / Java supported

  Recently, I worked in a company where all R & D product development and manufacturing was done through LabVIEW but regression testing has been done through python. Truth is, I probably could have implemented the regression test in LabVIEW but generally those working environments hose int will use PHP / Python or similar and it is easier to hire a team on that basis.

  I do not putting down LabVIEW rather try to honestly answer a customer's question.  Any OE ideas to answer the question?

I don't see why even a simple "Hello World" executable should force hundreds of MB of installation.

  I saw a lot of posts here who have spoken of creating applications to manage data in a database (for example a stock inventory system), or run an executable LabVIEW on a server to act as a server web - Yes, you can use LabVIEW to do these things, but there are other tools that seem much more appropriate (e.g. Apache/IIS and PHP/ASP) - essentially a nice web front end - I also have the same feeling about creating something to review test data - I think that this must be done in a more suitable tool (e.g. a web front end so anyone can access it without the need of RTÉ).

  The cost of the development license is there, Yes (but not for deployment) but it is easier to justify when it is just a small part of a test/measurement system expensive. I also don't really think that the use of the disc is so important nowadays with space being so cheap HARD drive to.

  We have a 2 node RAC cluster.

  We wanted to add 2 LUNS to our data Diskgroup and asked team storage available to both nodes of the cluster.

  After that they provided, the Linux Admin scanned the LUN and powerpath device names were generated. The powerpath device names like SCSI logic unit number names are incremented sequentially. Because, two additional powerpath LUN used to Node1 to a local file system, the names of powerpath were incrementing differently in the two nodes.

  Thus, for the same LUNS emcpowerpath names differed in Node2. Linux Admin did not notice this difference. And he told us the names of newly added from Node1 LUNS powerpath that have been

I didn't know that ASMLib treats ID LUN. If ASMLIB faces in LUN ID internally, then you don't need to have the same name for a particular LUN for disks shared in different RAC nodes? Right?

  ASMLIB contains 3 packs. Oracleasmlib, which is distributed under a license of Oracle user space and is not part of the standard GPL software distribution. Oracleasm-support, which is in the standard repository and kernel driver of Oracleasm, which is included in the core Oracle UEK only or distributed by Red Hat to RHCK kernel. The subsequent RHCK driver requires a Red Hat subscription. You need all 3 installed packages.

  ASMLib doesn't care to the SCSI ID or device names. When you configure a device to ASMLIB, he writes a header special disk in the device, the command scandisk read and identify a device. ASMLIB devices are populated under the tree of device/dev/oracleasm and found by ASM using the default ORCL: device chain.

  Don't forget that ASMLIB does not work with multiple devices and if you use DB-Multipath or EMC Powerpath, you need to blacklist the physical devices so ASMLIB will use powerpath or multipath device instead.   Yes, that should work with the object and embed tag.

  It will not work if the files are delivered with an audio or video, tag because these tags are supported specific MIME types in Firefox.
