Divide a waveform into smaller Segments

I have a wave form that I would like to make an analysis of power quality to.  There are several segments on a waveform that I would separate in order to perform the analysis on each segment individually.  Is there a way to do this?

I've attached a picture to show the waveform.  I want to this segment in every area where there is a major change.

Hey,.

What you want to do is to copy the data into new channels for the analysis on.  You will use a for or while loop to scroll through the data and then, when you notice the max of a specific segment change value, you'll want to copy this section to a new channel.

Call the Data.Root.ChannelGroups (4). ("Channel", DataTypeFloat64) Channels.Add

Call DataBlCopy("[1]/Time",1,16,"[4]/Channel",1)

In your loop, you can still use the ChnFind or the SEC to find the numeric value.

  • Divide a circle into 3 segments

I need to separate the circle below into three distinct segments. I know, it looks like he is already, I threw it in the ps and and saved as a jpg you show because I do not know how to take a screen in illustrator.

Basically, I created the circle by using the forms and then created a smaller circle and it subtracts the cotyledon. I then created 3 separate curved lines with a.5 stroke and after going to path > outline stroke I merged all three curves together. I moved the lines curved upward, selected and selected then the circle below the curved lines and hit subtract to divide the circle into 3 sections. Only problem is they are not 3 separate segments. When I use the selection tool to click on the circle, it describes the entire circle and the shots that I created.

I need 3 separate segments, each of which is capable of being manipuated on their own. How can I do this?

I tried what makes features and circle a form composed of the appearance Panel and then using the direct Selection tool to select the anchor points of the curved lines, and then press ctrl + x to cut out them, but that has not worked.cirle open.jpg

Look at your shape in the layers panel. I think you'll find that it's a compound shape. Select it and go to object > compound shape > Release. Deselect, then click on a segment of the circle, and you will find that only this part is selected.

  • How to divide the Source file into smaller files without export?

    Hi all

I am a beginner with PPro CS4 and video editing in general. I did a lot of research on Google and the search of these forums for an answer to this question, but I have not found a clear answer. Here's my problem:

I have many hours of HDV video in recent years with a Canon HV30. This sequence is on dozens of DV tape cassettes. I want to capture most of it on the disk.

When I capture a band on the disc, I get a single large mpeg4 file. (Body captures all HDV films in mpeg4). "select Scene" does not work with the HV30, so my only way to make a small capture files would be set In/Out points with batch capture. But that would mean hours of fast forward and back with VCR type controls on the camera for the revision of all bands and points. I thought it might be more QUICK to capture everything simply a whole band at once, and THEN examine the band captured the Organization (he is much faster using the Purifier), and by dividing the file into smaller files within the Organization, thus avoiding mechanical advance and rewind on the camera itself.

But the only way I can find for it seems to imply EXPORT clips. Am I wrong to think that the export of a clip to a new file involves a degradation of the original mpeg4 source file? Or there will be no loss of quality if I simply export to mpeg4 format?

It seems that there should be an easy way to simply divide the initial capture in small source files for editing later, without putting the images through a new generation of (exporting) treatment, which could result in a loss of quality. Or I'm wrong about this?

    (CS4 Master Suite, i7 3630 k, 16 GB RAM, C: 256 GB SSD, 1 t D:, E: 1 t F3 setpoint setpoint F3)

HDV film is mpeg2 (which is a number). CS4 is not scene detect you will need to use HDV split for this.

    http://strony.aster.pl/paviko/hdvsplit.htm.

You can run your files already captured by hdv split and it will cut the file into clips and you leave.

  • Divide a large TDMS file into smaller pieces

    Hello

I'm dealing with a large dataset (5.6 GB) TDMS and wish to perform analyses on this subject in MATLAB. Of course, dealing with this large dataset at once would be impossible in MATLAB, so I need to divide it into smaller pieces.

I started playing with Diadem to achieve this. I would like to create an automated script that I may need to do this several times in the future. I'm new to VBS but have managed to extract a small amount of data from the data portal and store it in a table. I was wondering how I can then write this data in a file separate from PDM. My amateur code is attached!

Thanks in advance for any help,

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

The best way to do is to apply the filter lines you want during the import process, so that you get only the elements of the array that you are interested in as new channels in the data portal - you can do it with the DataFileLoadRed() command.  Then, you can simply save the subset values you wanted (all the content of each channel) to the new export file, which could be a much smaller file of PDM or even a *.mat file if you downloaded and installed the MATLAB use we post free at www.ni.com/dataplugins.

  • WMM - import of small segments already completed - Please HELP

I do a movie - and I have several portions of the movie is done (as in new projects) that I want to insert in the Film "the master."

I've saved every part/segment which I already finished - in my hard drive as WMM - and then when I want to insert in the full movie - import the small segment of film - and what is in my collection - as all the individual frames and text? Why isn't it important in the movie the same as it was in the full segment? -ei - spread over the timeline in the right order and timespan?

Do I have to drag each picture in the chronology of 'master' all over again?

In some photos, there are two (depending on the length of that this photo was in the original clip?

How do I import only small segments that I already finished it - so they will be distributed on the timeline?

Please help as soon as POSSIBLE.

    Thank you

Small projects (segments) are apparently registered under. Project MSWMM files.

To accomplish the task you describe... each. MSWMM file draft needs
be opened in Movie Maker, one at a time and saved in the. DV - AVI or WMV
    Film format.

Then you can import video clips collected and drag them into the timeline
as you would with any video cli [ps.

To save in a .wmv movie file...
Type of... CTRL + P (or go to...) File / save movie file)
to open the wizard movie recording.
    Choose... My computer.
    Next /.
Enter a name and a location.
    Next /.
ICT... "Best quality for my computer.
    Next /.
Wait while the movie is saved.
    Finishing...

To save a DV - AVI movie file...
    (and other options)
Type of... CTRL + P (or go to...) File / save movie file)
to open the wizard movie recording.
    Choose... My computer.
    Next /.
Enter a name and a location.
    Next /.
    Show more choices.
    Other parameters.
Open the window of the droplet and choose... DV - AVI.
    Next /.
Wait while the movie is saved.
    Finishing...

FWIW... Be careful on the creation of a project that is too large and/or complex
because you might have problems registering.

  • How to break a layer into smaller sections?

Good day to all, for the first time post in the forums and I really am a novice when it comes to Photoshop.

They gave me a collection of PSD files that have examples of layout android on them. I have included a picture of a coaster.

The image itself has several parts to it (buttons, areas of text, checkboxes, images, etc.), but there only one layer.

My ultimate goal is to turn that into Android XML so that I can use it for my applications; I tried both of codly and Exportkit. Both seem like they would work IF I had it broken down into smaller sections. Right, exportkit just now runs where the entire image is transformed into an imagebox (as opposed to smaller segments such as buttons and text boxes).

Is it possible to break it down further into smaller pieces such as buttons, text boxes and images so that I can use tools such as ExportKit and Codly?

If not, is there another method that I should look into? I (as a newbie) demand the right kind of question? Or is there another I should ask here?

Thanks for your help and all the time!

you use the selection tools and copy & paste new layers, but frankly it's pretty obvious that one who created the designs already used in layers of drawings, then maybe talk to them? Other than the graphics are simple enough to be recreated from scratch...

  • Divide a line into several points

I see that I can use SDO_LRS. SPLIT_GEOM_SEGMENT to divide a line into one only point (and get 2 lines resulting).

However, someone at - it an idea how can I split a line, at several points, in several segments? I need to do for the number of lines, so a function or procedure would be nice as appropriate.

N ° Apple does not split files into small pieces, you can go back. Why not visit the local Apple retailer/dealer and ask them to allow you to make a copy of the file. Don't forget to put a 16 GB USB stick with you that has been partitioned and formatted for Mac. Or you can ask a friend with a best data plan.

    Hi kristieann,

    ·         What version of the operating system is installed on the computer?

You can search for any third-party application, using your favorite search engine to split the recording file.

Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  • Divide the line into several columns

    Hi all

I have a question where I want to divide the line into multiple columns based on the delimiter ' |'.

Staging of Table structure: People_STG, I have people in it.

    Create table People_STG(col1 varchar2(4000));

    Insert into People_STG(Emp_id|) User name | FirstName. LastName. JobTitle | hire_date | Location_id)

    SELECT REGEXP_SUBSTR ( COL1, '[^,|]+', 1, 1) EMP_ID,
           REGEXP_SUBSTR ( COL1, '[^|]+', 1, 2) USERNAME,
           REGEXP_SUBSTR ( COL1, '[^,|]+', 1, 3) FIRSTNAME,
           REGEXP_SUBSTR ( COL1, '[^,|]+', 1, 4) LASTNAME,
           REGEXP_SUBSTR ( COL1, '[^,|]+', 1, 5) JOBTITLE,
           REGEXP_SUBSTR ( COL1, '[^,|]+', 1, 6) HIRE_DATE,
           REGEXP_SUBSTR ( COL1, '[^,|]+', 1, 7) LOCATION_ID
    FROM PEOPLE_STG
    WHERE length(regexp_replace(COL1, '[^|]', '')) = 14;

But I am facing a problem here, as in some lines, function is null, but when I run the above query, it is not recognizing the empty element and inserting Hire_date values of function and location_id in Hire_date where function is null.

    for example: 1 | akash51 | Akaksh | C | 22/11/14 | 15

Here the function is null, so when I run top to divide query it will insert 11/22/14 in the function column and 15 in Hire_Date.

Please need help on this one.

    Oracle Version: 11.2 g

    Thanks in advance,

    Akash.

There are different techniques to cope with this.  Is a simple...

    SQL > ed
    A written file afiedt.buf

    1 with t as (select 1 | akash51 |) Akaksh | C | 22/11/14 | 15' as col1 of union double all the
    2 Select 2 | akash52 | Akaksh | C | Jobs jobs | 23/11/14 | 15' of the double
    3            )
    4  --
    5. end of test data
    6  --
    7 select trim (REGEXP_SUBSTR (COL1, ' [^, |] +', 1, 1)) EMP_ID,.
    8 toppings (REGEXP_SUBSTR (COL1, ' [^, |] +', 1, 2)) USERNAME,.
    9 garnish (REGEXP_SUBSTR (COL1, ' [^, |] +' 1, 3)) FIRSTNAME,
    10 pads (REGEXP_SUBSTR (COL1, ' [^, |] +' 1, 4)) LASTNAME,.
    11 garnish (REGEXP_SUBSTR (COL1, ' [^, |] +' 1, 5)) JOBTITLE,.
    12 pads (REGEXP_SUBSTR (COL1, ' [^, |] +', 1, 6)) HIRE_DATE,.
    13 garnish (REGEXP_SUBSTR (COL1, ' [^, |] +' 1, 7)) location_id
    14 * from (select replace (col1, ' |)) ',' | as col1 of t)
    SQL > /.

    EMP_ID USERNAME FIRSTNAME LASTNAME, JOBTITLE HIRE_DATE LOCATION_I
    ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ----------
    1 akash51 Akaksh C 22/11/14 15
    2 akash52 Akaksh C Job 23/11/14 15

  • How to split the signal into small pieces (which have different lengths)

I have a long waveform which is just a combination of a waveform, waveform 0 + one another + 0 +... I would like to have small pieces of the long wave form.  The problem is that I can't think at least detect the 0 value to separate them.  Any advice would be appreciated.

How are generated segments of zero? They are exactly zero or zero average but with a bit of noise? You know the length of the segments of zero? Is it still the same? One of the waveforms have segments where real values are zero, and, if so, how long these segments is possible?

My first thought is to use in range & force with limits just a little above and below zero. Verification of the length of a set of samples not in Range.

  • Divide a document into multiple pages of a page

    I have a large poster 90 x 40 that I designed that I need to divide into 3 equal parts (30 x 40).  How can I do this?

One way would be to make a new file of 3 pages (disable dragging in the Pages panel and drag the three pages together in one discrepancy), then place the page original poster through the dissemination of three pages.

But if you want to print on a smaller printer, think of this tile in the print dialog box.
