I have a real-time application running in a PXI, but I want to "complete" by adding new features, I have in the C Code generated from Dymola. I thought about creating a DLL of this code (using LabWindows) and then insert it in the .vi (the one I have running in the PXI) using the library function call so that I could have the new .vi running in PXI.

However, take into account that the code runs on a real-time platform (such as the functions will work with the same priority as the appellant threadand, many other issues). Remember to FTP the file *.dll for PXI.

  Yes, you just pass a value of digital TestStand (e.g.; locals.number).

  I have compiled a DLL using labwindows calling a subsidiary static library. I added a step to test that calls this DLL.  On my development station, everything is good.  The subsidiary library is named.  But, on a deployed workstation, I get a "cannot load the DLL.

  According to the reference manual, I can preload subsidiary attendance using the adapter of the CVI.  I get the same error on my deployed station...

  I just upgraded from CVI 9-2009 CVI. After upgradingI began to get an intermittent Windows error when I run a program I wrote and compiled and depolyed with CVI 2009. My program has been distributed using the runtime of the last. It's difficult to say where these errors as it seems to be linked to an external application that my application is linked with a couple of DLL files that have been written and compiled by a colleague with CVI 9.

  Are there any potential risk with me using the DLL files compiled in CVI 9 with my code which is compiled and ran with the latest runtime engine?

  I'm calling a simple C routine to a VI by using the node call library feature.  The example of ANSIdouble.vi, found inside the example called DLL.VI given in the help files does not work.

  But when I replace it with the same program (the source code is given in the DLL.VI call) compiled by LabWindowsCVI, it does not work.  In fact, it blocks Labview.

  I use LV 8.2.1.

  In addition, LabWindowsCVI does not compile the example as written code. I had to change the Sub _declspec (dllexport) in front of the function declaration cancel DLLEXPORT DLLSTDCALL and #incude the file "C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\CVI81\include\cvidef.h".  The compiler produces errors if not.

  What is a rundll error?

  File rundll.exe are processes systems directly connected to your computer Windows registry. All of the Dll files are a part of the vast library that contains code and data that are shared by many programs. This allows to obtain the effectiveness of speed and memory of your operating system by reusing the same code or file to run many functions of various programs. An error occurs when the program are not allowed to access this code.

  Why do you Rundll errors?

  Windows uses rundll files to load programs, files, and applications. If the dll file is missing or damaged, any application using this file cannot be loaded. This will produce a rundll error. The reason why the file has disappeared is often related to a virus or spyware. This type of malware often tries to divert the files shared by the rundll file. Other sharing programs file then do not work effectively or to load any.

  STEP 1: IDENTIFY

  The first thing you need to do is to identify the process specific rundll. This isn't a difficult task; There is a library online extensive process in which you can assess the validity of the process that is running.   Perform a Google search on the file name doesn't get any success with clues on what might be this file, so that makes it is suspicious.

  It could be a startup item remains of some malicious software on your system and your antivirus/antimalware indeterminate having removed programs.

  Running sfc/scannow won't help you.  SFC don't know or care about a file with the same name (Yes, there is a list) and it is not this that sfc/scannow does, this isn't how sfc/scannow does work and it's not sfc/scannow is for.  It's just another engineer of 'expert' technical support which is retained by Microsoft wild goose chase.  It is not even an XP file, then why in courses run sfc/scannow would help me?  Anything for a reply with a link to a KB article...

  I suggest you download Autoruns, will find the startup item there and clear.  After execution of your system for a while, if there is no sequel, you can use Autoruns to delete the fake startup item.

  Here's how:

  It is sometimes easy to get rid of the error message by doing something like disable the startup item in msconfig (if you can still find), but I suggest you fix the problem and difficulty not only the symptom of the problem by simply deleting the startup message.

  I would also not recommend you start digging in the registry to try to find the startup item and remove it unless you have a backup of your system or at least a backup of your registry, because there is no 'Cancel' or 'quit without saving changes' option in regedit.  If you make a mistake, that's all.

  These ideas relieve 'rapid' and sometimes risky of the symptom if they not even work at all, but they can't actually solve the problem.  Also, I'd be suspicious of ideas that begin with the words "try."  You don't need to try things, you need to fix things.  You don't need to try ideas that might work, you must do something that will always work all the time.
