• DNS issue with the new Web site server

  Join this forum site that I have allways had to change to a new server of the host due to problems. The new server host is currently working on the site, but whenever I try to arrive on the site that I am transferred to the OLD server host (which showed a blank screen unusable).

  There is a way I can get on the site with the new server host BUT that is to go into the command prompt and enter the following WHENEVER I want to get on the site... ipconfig/flushdns - ipconfig/release - ipconfig / renew.

  Is it possible that I can get on the new host of the website WITHOUT getting transferred to the old server and without going into the command prompt and to play with the DNS settings every time?

  I just finished the installation of 2 servers esx4.0, Vartual Center Server and domain controller server in my home test harness. I added both the host esx server in DNS records. then I tried to add hosts to VC by using the host name, then I get the error message like

  "Unable to contact the (xxxxx) host specified. "the host may not be available on the network, a network cofiguraion problem can exhist or that management on this host services may not respond.

  I checked that all are ping and found no network configuration problem. I am able to add a host using the IP address, but not with the host name. I checked services in VC, all services run very well. Earlier I never had this problem.

  Please help me if someone has the solution.

  In fact, you need an unique identifier, primary key not exactly. When you use the db adapter Wizard you will be asked on the primary key when the wizard did not by itself. Simply choose the necessary columns (those unique key).

  Primary keys must be produced by sequence, they can be passed a value as well or generated otherwise (in sequence). How it will be managed in TopLink characteristics of the created db adapter can be found. You can change the sequencing method, manipulate columns and constraints and so on.

• Host with dual NIC, public and private, the installation program

  I am trying to set up an environment and I want to just make sure that its security and I'm doing things.

  My host mahchine, Windows 7, has two network cards. A single network adapter is behind a firewall, and the other is open to the internet. My question is, is that if I connect the public network for vm machine card, my physical host computer will no longer use this card. I'm just afraid to have public network map is open on my host.

  Yes, you can do it.  In the properties of the network adapter on the host operating system, disable all protocols, clients, etc. EXCEPT the VMware Bridge Protocol.  Then, VMware can use this device, but the host will not.

  I have the same problem with an iPhone 6. Try the general > reset > all settings, and then re-pair your phone to your car and see if it works now.

  I have tried for two days, but still can't make it work.
  I took a hot (online) full backup archive as well as the control file logs with the SPFILE and then copy the backup to the new host with the same directory structure and parameters. Finally, I tried to restore and recover the database on the new host, but failed during the restore process.
  
  The original host and the new host have the same subject Oracle installed until the patch level. I couldn't understand the solution to this problem based on my knowledge on Oracle DB.

  Yes, it's true. In a backup cold (assuming that the CLOSURE was not a SURRENDER but was NORMAL, TRANSACTIONAL, or IMMEDIATE) all files in the database (data files, redo log and controlfiles files) are 'compatible' - at the same point in time, to the same SCN. In a hot backup, the files are updated. RMAN is not necessarily take all the data files at the same time - for example when you have several data files, RMAN would backup the files in batches of 4 or 8 - data files are therefore controlled at different points in time. Similarly, the controlfile is saved last.
