Do not commit if the value does not exist in LOV

Dear friends,

Here is my requirement (which seems very difficult),

I have a creation page where there is an article like message entry LOV, the ideal scenario is to select the value of
lov and save the data. But if the user manually enters data that does not exist in LOV and try to save it
I want to throw an exception.

How to accomplish this task? Please suggest me.

Thanks in advance,
Had

-Create an article:

Name: HiddenFv
Style: FormValue

-Timely lov u lovmapping to see right here, you can...
-Right click on lovmapping and create a lovmapping more... set the properties:

LovRegion point: Empnum
Return: HiddenFv

After these implemented that run the page, it will be automatically throws the exception if the user enters an invalid value.

    Hi, I want to write a program that can turn on the LED when a range of value, this is the threshold and only when the value does not reach the threshold for a period of time, say 5 seconds, then the LED will turn off, otherwise it will remain. How can I achieve this in labview? Can someone help me? Really thanks!

    I assume that you use a while loop to keep the updated value.

    Add a record to offset to your looping it initialize with a U32 (time in ms)

    Add the registry to offset to your loop that keeps the previous value of your bool

    When your reaches the threshold value => the light and set the current time in your shift register.

    In the next iteration of the loop weather check value is still above threshold

    => Y-online previous set to true?

    => Y-online the next iteration

    -Online N => turn switch on and set the current time in your shift register.

    -Online N => subtract the time current less time shift record-online more then 5 seconds?

    => Is => keep turning on

    -Online N => turn given

    Hello, I have a registration page, a login, failed.php and one page landing page once they have signed.

    This is useful, but it is not yet clear what makes a large part of your code.  So when the user logs in, they were redirected to the script that you have placed in us? Do you have an online version, where you can see the workflow?

    Your script must then use the user connection in the select SQL.  This may be the variable session or the posted username form field.

    If it still does not work, then you should test the value of the session variable or the values posted

    echo $_SESSION ['MM_Username"]

    or

    echo $_POST ['tenID']

    But your code is a mess. Your form fields do not match your PHP. For example, you show us:

    but test it to the ground to help

    If (isset($_POST['tenID'])) {}

    I expect the values of RF 0/RX activate read properties FPGA should also switch in same way as implemntented in any separate loop outside the transmission while loop.

    But the value properties FPGA playing stick to a single value and will never switch!

    Should not USRP will cease to emit when RF 0/TX Enable is done wrong?  But I see it's permanently in transmission of data.

    What is proper way to swap the values of registry ATR on the side host?

    Once confimred for system of TDD using access codes alongside host I'll implement tilting sideways FPGA for quick change of antenna.

    Hey wired,

    First, you must put your writing to the FPGA controls in a loop.

    Right now it seems like you're this failover in a loop and play their part in a loop, but never written in a loop.

    Give that a shot and let me know how it goes! Then, based on what you've set in your States of Rx and Tx, must exchange between these configurations.

  • Select in 1 table only if a value does not exist

    Hi all
    I have problems, develop a single select statement to accomplish a single return value. I tried variations of DECODE and COALESCE, but it eludes me.

    I have two tables which are as follows:

    NAME
    ID FULLNAME
    1, senior officer
    Junior 2,
    3, Mister
    4, Senor
    5, Miss

    ABBREVIATION
    ID, ABBR.
    1, Sr
    2, jr
    3, M.
    5, ms

    What I want to do is choose from the table NAME only if that the value does not exist in the ABBREVIATION table.
    Ideally if I were to do something like:

    SELECT * FROM... WHERE (ID = 1 or ID = 2 or ID = 4)...

    I would get the following output:

    1, Sr
    2, jr
    4, Senor

    Thanks for reading!

    You want an outer join.

    SELECT decode(a.abbrev, NULL, n.fullname, a.abbrev)
    FROM name n,
    abbreviation a
    WHERE n.ID = a.ID(+)
      AND ....

    Something like that.

    Complete example:

    with n as (
    select 1 as ID, 'Senior' as FULLNAME from dual UNION ALL
    select 2 as ID, 'Junior' as FULLNAME from dual UNION ALL
    select 3 as ID, 'Mister' as FULLNAME from dual UNION ALL
    select 4 as ID, 'Senor' as FULLNAME from dual UNION ALL
    select 5 as ID, 'Miss' as FULLNAME from dual),
    a as (
    select 1 as ID, 'Sr' as ABBREV from dual UNION ALL
    select 2 as ID, 'Jr' as ABBREV from dual UNION ALL
    select 3 as ID, 'Mr' as ABBREV from dual UNION ALL
    select 5 as ID, 'Ms' as ABBREV from dual)
    select decode(a.abbrev, NULL, n.fullname, a.abbrev)
    from a, n
    where n.id = a.id(+)
    order by n.id;

    ID                     DECODE(A.ABBREV,NULL,N.FULLNAME,A.ABBREV)
    ---------------------- -----------------------------------------
    1                      Sr
    2                      Jr
    3                      Mr
    4                      Senor
    5                      Ms

  • How to check the value of Disqualification working correctly?

    Hello

    I have problems using the processor to check the value in Disqualification. I want to check the customer name field for how many names contain 'TEST' in them. Here are the steps I follow, I hope that someone can identify where I'm wrong:

    1. Add checking the value

    2. in the ATTRIBUTES tab, add "Customer Name" as the field of Validation

    3. in the OPTIONS tab, add 'TEST' as against value to compare files, choose "is equal to", as the comparison operator, select 'Yes' to Ignore Case.

    In reviewing the data, I see many instances where TEST is in the name of customer - but the value record tells me that there is no example of this.

    Have I missed something obvious/fast?

    Thank you!

    Checking the value does not have a check Contains. Use the list check with the Contains option for this.

    You can press F1 on each processor for its help page if you are not sure about what he does.

  • Cannot set the value using the setPropertyListener tag

    Hi all

    IAM using Jdev 11.2.1.0.0

    I have a scenario as when I click on a button, a string value must pass the variable at the bean. That's why I used setPropertyListener tag inside the button as follows.

    < af:setPropertyListener = "Form" to = "#{backingBeanScope.MyBean.value} '"

    type = 'action' / >

    The value does not at all.  Can I place 'Form' as above or ' #{'form'} '. I tried both, but no progress. Please suggest me.

    Thanks and greetings

    Hi Frank,.

    IAM using multiple shapes on the page... Switch exists in form and these button exists in another form.

    When I add these buttons to the form where switch exists, then for the first on himself, setPropertyListener in the button triggers and switch is switching between the facets according to my condition. Thanks a lot for your help.

  • Ignore the value inserted manually in the field of the lov

    Hi all

    I have a field called exchange_rate, the user can choose the value of lov (input text with lov) or can manually insert it in the same field.

    for example the lov contains values 0.20 - 0.30 - 0.40 and the user must insert the 0.35 value that does not exist in lov.

    How to do this?

    You can try to remove the f: validator tag.

    or (if the previous suggestion does not help)

    You can add the new attribute to your VO and set rather LOV him on the original attribute (when you add lov in this field, you must also update the original attribute)

    Then use af:inputText for your attribute (so it will not be validated for lov) original and put new attribute as af:inputListOfValues next to him (for example, you can surround them with af:panelGroupLayout with layout = "horizontal").

    Hide a part of your LOV entry by placing "display: none;" in "contentStyle" property then you will see only lov icon and combination (inputText, inputListOfValues) will look like to users as classic lov.

    To refresh the inputText when the user chooses something else of lov, you need to define autosubmit = true on your component lov and add partial trigger in af:inputText that points to your lov.

  • Constrain the values in drop-down list in a command prompt

    Guys, I'm running a strange problem. I have a single guest having the Country column and status column. Both are drop-down lists. I want the State to be filled with only values belonging to the country that I select. I used the query defined for the country variable and created a new column for the status of the RPD and used the value of the query variable in the column State RPD. In the prompt I shows the SQL values for this new column. No value displayed in the status drop-down list. But when I see this new status column values in a query, the values are limited by the drop-down list of countries. Why it works in a request and not in a command prompt.

    THX,
    Parag

    Parag salvation,

    Variable application does not allow to the RPD. Scope of application variables is only for reports that are there on dashboad. Request variable will temporarily replace the value of an existing server variable only for this report. It will not change the value of the server variable in the world.

    Please see the link below for more information on the query variable

  • Does not restore the values of form for the restoration of the tab

    Part of my Web site uses a large number of forms on a single page. On the page, you can filter items (each item has its own form) and modify them. One entry looks like this: [name] [select status] [other Select]. Other important things are that the document has an expiration date in 1981 (to apply a page always up to date) and that change the value in the select results in the triggering of an AJAX function.

    It works perfectly, except for one thing. When filtering State id 1, you get back a little of the element. Let's say that the result of the filter are input 5. Change entry #2 status, which triggered an AJAX function. It works very well, but here's the problem: when close the tab and re-opening with Restore tab, select values become disheveled.

    Due to the execution of a fresh copy of the page, the browser will get a new copy of the page. Entry #2 is now gone (I'll keep calling it that, even if she disappeared because of the filter). Now, here's the problem: Firefox is attempting to restore the value to select it. Entry of the status #3 now has the same status of entry #2, #4 a #3 status and so on.

    I managed to solve this problem on other browsers (Chrome, IE) with this little piece of jQuery:
    {$(document) .ready (function ()}
    {$("form[class^='startingformname']").each (function ()}
    This.Reset ();
    })
    });
    It works perfectly, except for Firefox, which seems to ignore the call to reset...

    As this text is quite long, I'll keep my short question: How do you keep Firefox restore the values of the form (preferably: keep them on the selected item in the HTML)? Now, the user always gets a new copy of the page, and Firefox is trying to restore the old values on this page, even though the HTML code has changed.

    I think your two choices is:

    (1) prevent Firefox from page caching, or

    (2) use a different event to trigger your reset function

    As I understand it, the function $(document) .ready jQuery () raises the event DOMContentLoaded (or equivalent, if not supported by the browser). If the tab is cached in its ' cache fast back-forward ", Firefox can not fire this event when the user returns to the tab, just like Firefox does not always raise the load event in such cases.

    Discover the event more described in the following article and see if you can use it to trigger your reset function in Firefox: https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Using_Firefox_1.5_caching

  • Reset the default value does not

    'Reset to the default value' does not work for my ListBox multicolumn, but it works for my string flags.  Someone at - he never encountered this before?

    I tried to remove all the elements and setting "default value to', but after another execution of the program, still not reset to nothing.  I have to do it programmatically in my code, and I can't do using the server reference VI Reset at the same time.  I have to define arrays of strings individually to null.

    I use a large number of nodes of property in my loop of consumer to read/write the values in the front panel.  Not sure if this is related.

    Thank you.

    This occurs because the value of a multicolumn listbox is a digital scalar or table (depending on the selection mode of the control) Express which line or the currently selected cell.

    "Reset to default" only resets the values and no other properties. In this case, it is the property of ref that hosts that we consider intuitively the value of listbox mc, but it's not.
