  So I get it that the alarms are things that usually you want to hear even when a device is set to silent. It is also bad precedent to change the default values on a BONE. What I don't get is studied silence and lack of innovation Apple when it comes to places you might want to adapt a do not disturb the function of a social/business situation.   This is the famous cache App World, I guess. Based on my own experience, you will see the download of previous versions for a week or two. It doesn't matter that you have essentially disabled the old versions.

  The description is correct. Mode 'sleep' needs the power button to be pressed in some computers and some PC, mouse activity takes up the PC.
  Hibernation saves your session as such (like a snapshot) and turns off the PC. Here, you must press the power button to resume.
  Note: If you enable hybrid sleep, you may need to press the power button to resume. Also, after hibernation, you can turn the power off and turn it on when necessary. The session will not be disturbed. Whereas, in sleep, you are not supposed to cut off the power (that too hybrid sleep is turned off).

  I have exactly the same problem; made with Apple Care 1 hour - no idea what was wrong.  Tech was unfamiliar with the issue, as was the general contractor.  I tried 9.3.3 iOS update, but it did not issue.  Signed in and out of the iTunes, done a sync, hard reset;  are there books but tabs come in white.  IBooks works on my iPhone 6 s, old iPad 2, Macbook and Imac.  Wait a few days and then try the Genius Bar.

  Ask your email provider if they have published messages. It's their server. Thunderbird only delivers messages. They do not issue them.

  It is a known problem with 9.3 and right now, Apple has not issued a fix. Workarounds include using another browser. People have reported that Opera and puffin both work but I have not experienced with them to know for sure. (and honestly what works for some doesn't work for others)

  There are also some success reported by the people who are in settings, safari, advanced and disabling java script.

  Ultimately the people just have to wait for a fix to come, and there is no timetable for when that will happen.
