  You are right about the different models and I think also all A500 will not be the same in all European countries. Please also note that it's first A500 series on the market and I think also for the French market, it can be changed in the future. It is possible that in a few months, you will be able to find more different models in France.

  In my country, Satellite A500 is not yet on the market. :(

  It really seems to me as if you had a temporary problem which has now disappeared and that you probably do not need to do anything.

  There is no way to get Acrobat 6 to be fully installed and works on any version of Windows beyond Windows XP, 32-bit only! There's a way to upgrade to cheap since Acrobat 6, who is now 6 versions behind the current version. Sorry!

  As far as I know dead on arrival questions are always issues between business partners.
  So if something is wrong with your laptop, you could request a laptop replacement. You should ask your dealer to laptop.

  Now, I want to say something about your question;

  Usually it is not big thing to do because there is a kind of tolerance of dead pixels.
  Only if the number of dead pixel is larger, then the number described in the document above the ASP will replace the screen.
  The best advice is to go back to the dealer and replace the notebook.
