Docking toolbars

Please don't tell me that you really removed from the way in which we could anchor the toolbars in Vista Ultimage x 64?
I can't believe.  Please don't tell me it's true.  Otherwise I'll kill myself.  Now I'm stuck with Vista until his life ends like xp did.

Get us that function back.  It's crazy having all my large icons in the taskbar and it's amazing to have the office full of icons.
Thank you, but hurry up, do a Patch anything, but please give us!

Hello

I understand what you're saying. Memory usually is very difficult to change.

I was in the same situation when I started with the beta version of Windows 7 last year. In Vista and XP, I kept a toolbar that is docked at the top of the screen and hidden. When I started using Windows 7, I don't know how many times I slapped him up against the top of the screen cursor, trying to get this toolbar. :)

What I ended up with now is the toolbar quick launch on the bar of tasks and sitting next to the Start button. I can develop and have several other menus cascade on. It works well enough and was not too difficult to adjust. I have pretty much everything I need in this area of the screen with this in combination with the icons in the taskbar Jump Lists.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for using Windows 7

  • Disable the setting of the play Mode does not work

I have searched through the forum and with Google searches and saw he has discussed with several threads, but encountered no valid patches (or bypasses) so I thought I would try here...

At work, I started in looking for a way to disable the 'read' for Adobe Reader X (version 10) Mode when the documents are displayed in a web browser, because a large number of users is complained about this.  I tried to disable (uncheck) the setting in the player 'Préférences', under the category of the Internet, but that has no effect on the way. PDF files are displayed.  I have tested this using multiple versions of multiple browsers (IE and FireFox) and ran on several versions of Windows (XP and 7).  However, even after unchecking the setting, the translucent toolbar still floating in the lower central part of the page.

By clicking on the icon "Clover" ("see the toolbar Acrobat') to anchor the toolbar in a persistent horizontal row at the top of the window, which is what our users prefer, but having to do it manually with each document being read (which for some users, the number of hundreds per day) is extremely heavy.  In addition, unless I'm a bad interpretation of the description given by the Adobe documentation, that's exactly what the setting "Default playback Mode display" is supposed to control.

Just for the record, here are other things that I looked at:

    • Confirmed that the [Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader\10.0\AVGeneral HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\] registry key, "bBrowserDisplayInReadMode", is actually used to 0 when the setting is disabled.
    • Tried to restart the browser, restart the computer and tried the test above under Windows XP and Windows 7.
    • Wanted by the release notes for each release / update of version X (10.1.1 10.1.2 10.1.3) to see if he had any information about it as a known bug, but found nothing.  Came across another post (http://forums.adobe.com/message/4087017#4087017) that claimed that the emitted are, indeed, a known bug that was supposed to be fixed in version 10.1.1.  However, my testing shows otherwise.
    • I have observed that even if the setting "Default playback Mode display" is not checked in the program settings (i.e. the start menu-> programs-> Adobe Reader, then clicking on 'Edit'-> 'Préférences'), if any. PDF file is then opened with a new browser session, not only is not docked toolbar, but if you right click and choose "Page Display Preferences", the parameter "Default playback Mode display" is checked.  Unchecking it, however, does not seem to have any effect.

We appreciate any comments or suggestions.

Again, I find answering me my own message / question.

Apparently, this problem (parameter "Read Mode" has not influence) is a bug which is present in the version of Adobe Reader X 10.1.1 and after you have deployed the latest patch (quarterly), AcrobatUpd1013.msp, the problem has been resolved.  The parameter "Default playback Mode display" is managed correctly, so that the Reader toolbar is docked when the setting is off and returns to the floating, translucent toolbar / disappears when the option is checked.  It is more necessary to press the F8 key.

Hope this info may help someone of another encounter the same problem.

  • lost my toolbar navigation and my dock. Firefox went full screen

While I was in outlook (msn) the enlarged screen and now everything is full-screen. I don't see the toolbar or the docking station or the scroll bar on the bottom and I don't know how to get back. I have to go back to the old Safari in order to access my accounts.

You can switch the mode full screen on Mac via command + SHIFT + F.

  • CS4 - how do I re-dock the two main toolbars?

I accidentally not anchored two toolbars main - those who are at the top. Now they are floating (I think that's the correct word), and it's annoying because they are then placed on my image that I open. Any ideas?

Thank you and have a nice Easter,L.Z.grab.jpg

    Several ways to do this:

    1. click on window > Application frame.

It will set the entire into a single image application, as if it were in Windows.

    2. click on window > workspace, select the new layout of the workspace, and then get back to the basics.

    3. slide open the top left image, and then click window and uncheck the Toolbar Options and application, then check again. they should ' dock at top and any image you open automatically opens under them. "

  • I lost the toolbar at the top of my page and the dock at the bottom.

I have an iMac OS X, and I know that this problem is a matter of my ignorance. I was bouncing back between two emails when I noticed that I have only my toolbar Mediacom above, nothing downstairs (all the icons) and my screen has increased in size to fill the screen of the computer in its entirety and I can't reduce. That's the thing I've done stupid hell?

Make sure that you run not Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command + SHIFT + F).

  • How to restore the toolbar to the Dell docking station?

Original title: clear bar at the top of the screen

I recently had my computer cleaned of viruses.  When I came back, the light of the bar, which was at the top of the screen is gone.  How can I get that back?

Claire bar? It's a Dell? Perhaps mean you the Dell Dock?

Start | All programs | Dell folder. The Dell Dock is listed here? If no, go to: start | Search and type Dell Dock. A bit of luck with that?

If you have lost your machine, you can download it here.

  • A toolbar that is added to the start bar disappears on some computers if the language bar is docked.

I did a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate on one of my PC. All device drivers are working perfectly. I added Turkish to my languages and choose to display the embedded language (that is not detached from the start bar) bar. I added another toolbar (it could be a toolbar, such as the address or the Quick Launch bar, or a custom toolbar) to the start bar. When I restart the computer, it will operate additional disappears and I have to select them again each time. The only solution I've been able to understand in order to prevent the disappearance of these toolbars is to disconnect the language bar or choose to not show it. Download of Windows 7 available updates and update all device drivers did not make a difference. Device Manager displays any hardware not recognized and all that it seems normal. Out of curiosity, I installed the same operating system on another dissimilar PC, but did not have the same behavior. I hope that Microsoft or some other assistant will be able to understand why this happens (in some cases), and then maybe a fix/tweak BONE is located.

The taskbar settings are saved during the connection process off... I guess something must this interrupts.

When you manage add toolbar and it will not disappear after the reboot you can understand that the value of TaskbarWinXP located under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\Desktop has been changed. He's almost 4 larger than without the extra toolbar.

Yet once I tried different combination... Add the toolbar > connection off > login on > add the missing toolbar > restart > rest of the toolbar. I also tried disabled Norton Internet Security, and once again, I was able to successfully add the toolbar, but I guess it was rather related to the previous example, because I disconnect while.
