  OK, solved. It's not Firefox, it's Windows. Somehow, it had been changed to open Word documents as browsers. I had my suspicions that it wasn't Firefox as Word documents to open in form of tabs in the browser even if Firefox is not running. The only way to open a Word doc was if it was already on the hard drive.

  For someone who has a similar problem, it's how to correct:

  Open my computer.
  On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
  Click the File Types tab.
  In the registered file types list, click the file that you are trying to open. In my case, it was the doc files. In the list this type of file has been shown by a Firefox icon, indicating that what was used to open the file.
  Under the list of registered file types scroll details for each file type are displayed, with an option for "opens with:
  Click Edit to the right of the present and choose the program to use in the future. Click OK and close the dialog box file types. This should solve the problem.

  Our EQ 9 configuration has been implemented with a controlled forms process created by Eloqua Consultant. Every piece of content has a unique DocID. When someone downloads a PDF book, Eloqua adds this person to the appropriate campaign in salesforce.com. I am trying to find a way to run a report in EQ that will give me the email address for each person who has downloaded a document (DocID). So, I want to compare these data with corresponding salesforce.com campaign to ensure that the two systems are synchronized.

  We called support EQ and they told us that you cannot run a report based on the DocID of our content resources. They also said that the only way to produce such a report would be to put a tracking script on the footer of document, and then run a report against anyone who has visited this page.

  Here are my questions:

  1. Anyone know how to run a report that will produce a list of emails for each contact Eloqua that has downloaded a specific DocID (resource of content).
     
  2. If the content is accessible is a document PDF is opened in Acrobat Reader, how do you add an equalizer to a PDF tracking script? As the document is open in Acrobat Reader, I don't think you can add an equalizer to the tracking script.
     
  3. If someone downloads a white paper from our site, EQ adds to the campaign in SFDC. If the data exists because Eloqua knows when someone downloads an asset and adds them to the appropriate campaign. Is it possible to access these data in EQ?

  I'll slightly re - order questions, put them in the order needed to achieve this:

  (2) the assets must be connected on your website using the redir.htm page that is included in your tracking scripts package. • Cannot delete the firefox bookmarks & document downloads

  XP - sp3 > firefox 3.6.18: I don't think that this has happened on previous versions of ff. On this pc in order to delete bookmarks, I have to go in "organize bookmarks > bookmarks menu and click right/remove them." On another pc xp in this House, I can just click right/remove from the drop-down list, does not know that one. In any case, after that I reload, deleted bookmarks reappear magically in the list. Also, when I download a program & wait for another time to load, after a reboot sound not in docs/downloads. That's not all, when I delete programs in the downloads that I have already installed or decide that I didn't, once more after a reboot, they magically reappear. One more and after a reboot, the present day story in ff is not registered. Went. I have a lot of programs security (that work well together) who have been here for long time, so I'm sure that they are not interfering, or malicious software. I have no idea what the cause since his happens in firefox & the pc itself. Have not deleted anything in the registry, or any other critical files, have not changed the settings of firefox options, & have not added new addons ff. Same, some have updated. 5 days ago, I added more memory memory Crucial, but I don't think that this has nothing to do with it. I'm trying to think of any other information, I can give you to make it easier for someone to help, so if anyone does & you need more than information, I will be back periodically & provide anything that might help. It has left me speechless. After all the problems that I have read on the forums of firefox on the upgrade to ff4/5, I'll stick with ff3.6.18 for now.   I guess you are trying to fill out the PDF using Adobe Reader. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

  If so, this form can not be Reader rights enabled. Adobe Reader is a single PDF reading software is only meant to read and save a blank copy of the PDF. If you want to change something in the PDF file, then the creator has enable user rights (commonly called player to extend rights) so that you can save the completed PDF file. This can be done by Adobe Acrobat.

  I would ask you to kindly contact the author of the PDF file to allow the user rights and send it again.

  When you download files, Windows usually saves in the downloads folder, which is located under your user name in the users folder on the drive where Windows is installed (for example C:\Documents and Settings\nom of utilisateur\Mes Documents\Downloads).

  When you save the file, you can choose to save it in a different folder. By default, some file types are saved in different folders. For example, if you right-click on an image on a Web page and then choose Save picture as on the menu, the image will be saved in the default photos folder.

  You cannot specify a particular folder to be the destination for downloads.
