  Is this PDF file attached to an e-mail or a file saved on your press card?

  Can someone help me - o2 could certainly! I started having trouble reading downloaded pdf. Any time I tried, I got an error message telling me that "the pdf cannot be opened because there is an ongoing dialogue on documents to go. Please close this dialog and try again". O2 were such, that slab off the coast! So I deleted documents to go thinking that it was unnecessary to have because it did not work properly. On App World, that I can't find alternative pdf readers - thoguh even an internet search suggests that they are there - and I cannot find anywhere where I can download the documents to go.

  Hi again, have now downloaded PDF files initially, I downloaded but cannot open. Download, save to the device, documents to go, pdf appears, highlight and then press the scroll key, no problem. I wrote a letter of complaint to the o2 - I have a good mind to add a P.S. saying to someone in the forums have what they couldn't do. Thanks again, this mark as solved by a very helpful person.   I am a fairly new BB user. I can do my BB 8310 a PDF reader? I can manage to transfer the document but cannot open it once I found it. I thought this would be a given that this is not possible on a BB. I'm doing something wrong? Thank you. I don't have internet e-mail.

  I have DocsToGo (1,005) premium loaded on my VZW (OS 4.5.0.77) curve. SheetToGo and SlideshowToGo work very well. Whenever I try to open or create a file in WordToGo, I get the following error messages:

  The WordToGo application attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your COMPUTING strategy.

  Denied permission to your files. Please configure the permissions of your application in an appropriate manner.

  I don't have a COMPUTER policy on my handheld (run BIS only). DataViz is no help, because they tell me to contact RIM. I have checked all kinds of BB forums, but have yet to find an answer to this particular problem. Can someone please? Thank you.

  My problem is solved! In fact, I got the answer from another forum (God bless the BlackBerry community).

  I already had all the permissions for connections, Interactions and user data to "allow". The only thing left to do was to reset the firewall will prompt you for the Word To Go module only. For anyone else having these issues, the following describes these steps:

  Options of > Security Options > application permissions > Documents To Go > Menu key > change permissions > highlight "Word To Go" module > Menu key > change permissions > reset Firewall prompt

  You cannot synchronize documents to go with the Office Manager, but you can send the files on the memory card with the Office Manager.

  I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  (2) remove and return Service directories

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning.   Ah... Ok... Manually... and I think this goes for 3rd party applications as well. DTM backup databases of Basic... see this KB:

  What I do is to maintain a list of 3rd party apps I have installed on my BB. Because I'm "attention to detail", I still maintain this list of things that I got via AppWorld or other sources that maintain their own list of what I have bought/installed. I also maintain a manual backup to my PC which is on my map of media - now it's easy since it is simply my entire library of music, videos, and only a few documents of any type. But your use may vary.
