  I am connected to Comcast high-speed internet cable and you just want to connect two computers at home, with the fastest speed available.  I was told to buy a less expensive router and it would work just as well as an expensive one.  As long as it is hard wired it won't make any difference in speed.

  Sounds easy, I get good advice?  If anyone has the time, I would really like to get this resolved so I can buy a router and configure my network.  Any advice on what router buy would be really appreciated.

  1. make sure that your modem is only a modem and not already a router. Some ISPS 'modems' are in fact roads with built-in modem.

  2. most current routers should be able to handle the current speeds of the Internet standard. Only if you have a very fast internet connection or intend to buy an older model, it is perhaps not able to manage your Internet speed. Check a Web site like smallnetbuilder for speed trials.

  But that would make almost any router.

  The Setup is the same for all versions of Windows. It's just the download page which shows in different languages.  (The installation program will likely display a German instructions in your case).

  Usually, you would receive messages from any program if it is impossible to access the port.

  If you want to check if the port is accessible, then you will need to check the firewall settings.

  Each firewall has its own parameters for ports of the computer.

  First of all, a common problem faced by users with Yahoo! mail is that Yahoo changed their server. If you are using an old bookmark or the old address of the homepage to access your e-mail, try to use this more general address so that if your server has changed, you redirected to the new servers:

  It depends on what you are doing and the rest of your system.  Eventually, if you like the video, it will impact.  But for still images, it is unlikely you will come anywhere close to that.  You can check it by placing the bar at the bottom left of the screen to show effectiveness.  As long as you use only RAM it will say 100%.  If you go below, you use your drive to work.  But even in this case, use to scratch a little, if you have an SSD, is not a big deal.

  Even my laptop 8 GB rarely gets bogged down (but I close the old files).  My 16 GB Office doesn't happen nearby.  But I'm not video.
