  The flash will have changed the BIOS settings, so go in the BIOS settings and verify that the setting of the HARD drive is in AHCI mode. If it still does not start XP, then it is worth trying to format & reinstall Windows from scratch.

  You do not see the video because Your ' e running the .swf generated to deploy to the web folder. You must deploy to the web to download the content of the files to your web server and it will work fine. (same thing happened to me once)

  You can see the video of intro of your machine by clicking in the .swf in the Local run folder.

  Its happens because the video you created is not embedded into the main.swf.

  I recently bought a new Mac with El Capitan. Last night I finished a Time Machine backup to my old Mac (also El Capitan) and installed on the new Mac Time Machine backup.  When it was done installing, it has stopped working - I just hit a blue screen. After an hour or two, I restarted and it has never progressed beyond the Apple symbol and the spinning wheel.  I tried to reboot into Recovery Mode to try a re - install, but it won't let me.  I then went in Mode safe mode with set reports and he never finished, start the system, he kept having the same error pop up - 'tried to access a file compressed or unregistered type 7' or '8' again and again.

  I am at a loss.  Is it possible that I can boot into Recovery Mode, or otherwise get this machine to run?

  After working, when I put the lid, system will stand by as it should.
  When I leave it like that for quite a long time (over an hour) and I open the lid and press the power button all the lights go down and it does not start.

  No matter how many times I try it remains dead. I have tried everything that disconnect pluging the battery and adapter, nothing happens.

  Usually when you want to reuse for laptop you simply open the lid and laptop should be awake alone.
  What happens when you just open the lid?
  Does button walk / stop still flashes and portable rest in sleep mode?

• Merger of WinXP VM does not start using the workstation

  I have a virtual Windows XP computer that was created using Fusion 2.0 that I can't seem to start under Workstation 6.5.3 or Workstation 7 RC.  When starting under my computer, the virtual machine does not start and simply display a flashing cursor in the upper left corner of the screen.

  To give you some background, I have a Macbook Pro configured to dual boot OSX 10.6 and Windows 7 ultimate (64 bit).  I can boot under OSX and run the virtual machine very well under Fusion.  However, if I boot into Windows 7 and you try to run an exact copy of the virtual machine Workstation 6.5.3 or Workstation 7 RC, I get just the cursor the left upper corner of the screen and the startup process appears to hang indefinitely.  Any ideas?  Here are the last few lines in the newspaper of vmware:

  I tried two suggestions I've seen on other threads: starting from the Windows XP CD and repair the virtual machine boot sector using the fixmbr command and also tried to change the BIOS & gt; Advanced & gt; The disk access mode complex BACK to others and niether seemed to work.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Please try the below steps mentioned and see if it works.

  1. open Activity Monitor

  2 search for Adobe related process (Creative cloud, coresync, AAMnotifire/updater)

  3 - put an end to all Services from Adobe

  4 restart the computer, try to run.

  I need help my X 500 does not start now. I tried to launch the NB as usual and suddenly the X 500 start or even power up.

  I tried to:
  * Remove battery and power up with AC only
  * power only to batteries
  * remove the battery power button hold for 30 seconds and over power with AC, battery only athen

  but it did not help.

  I checked the LEDs AC & battery, but they do not blink, they are just RED, so there is no problem in battery or AC.

  No idea where could be the problem?
