Doesn't work VPN wired OK - wireless
I have a client who asked me to install VPN software on my laptop. The software works very well in wireless mode when I'm not at home, but it doesn't work at all on my WRT350N - Internet connection. However, when I connect to the router with a cable, everything works fine. Otherwise, the router is great - really a solid product.
The strange thing is that the VPN Cisco - and is therefore the router software - go figure. Anyone have any ideas?
If you are connected to the wireless network and you can navigate the Internet wireless, then ideally your VPN should work if it works wired... Check if you are connected to your wireless network and Internet...

OK, great. It seems that the printer is connected to the airport, which is a good start.
Restart the airport by pulling on its power supply momentarily Plug and let it restart as a green light.
Reset the printing system:
-Go to System Preferences > print & Scan
-Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
-Select the sign more to add a printer. Select the default tab on the top of the window. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks. -
HP 14-r206nv: light wireless led doesn't work do not
I have a very minor issue that don't mind operating of the laptop, but I'm curious to know why it does not work, because I know that before reinstalling windows it worked normally.
Well well, to the point now. After a hard drive failure and replacement, Windows 8.1 are installed again and each driver has been installed and works well. The only thing that doesn't work is the led light button wireless (F12). The button is working correctly, activation and deactivation of the Wi - fi, but not the led. It lights, neither white nor red, it is always disabled.
The model of the wireless card is Realtek RTL8723BE.
I installed the drivers from the HP site.
Version of the driver for the wireless card is 2013.8.915.2014
The version of the wireless button driver is 1.1.7.1
I tried the latest drivers for the card (an optional windows updates finds) implemented to date for this and the wireless button (if I try update driver in Device Manager, it installs a new) but nothing has changed for good so I decided to go back to what the official site suggests and post here.

I understand that you had a hard drive failure and he had to be replaced, you did. You reinstalled Windows 8.1 and all drivers are up to date. The only problem you are having is that the wireless button light does not illuminate, but it does not work.
You tried to update the wireless driver button, but has not changed, so you returned back to the recommended HP driver. As the wireless button does not work it is not the driver, however, it could be that the light burned. The other possibility would be that when you replaced the hard drive, the connection has been dislodged or disconnected and must be reconnected.

G780 wireless doesn't work anymore; the networks are but cannot connect
I have a G780 bought earlier this year. It came with Windows 8, which I still use. Everything was working fine until today. All of a sudden I can't connect to my wireless network (I have a router that can have a 'network of comments' in addition to normal and I can not connect to one of these). I had been fiddling with the settings last night, but everything was working well. I can connect with other devices, so I know that the networks work.
Networks appear in the list of available networks, but every time I try and connect it just doesn't work. To make sure that I wasn't just typing the wrong passwords I tried to disable all security on one of the networks (so it was a totally open network without password), and the laptop still unable to connect. I tried to reboot the router wireless, by restarting the computer, update the driver for the wireless card, uninstall the drivers and reinstall them, activation and deactivation of the wireless card, by unchecking the option to disable card wireless to save energy and last computer ditch effort that I even did this "Refresh" of Windows 8 option that uninstalls all programs you install and resets the default options. Which included also to uninstall my antivirus program, so I tried to connect without that too. Nothing has made any difference.
Edited to add that I also downloaded and ran the diagnostic tool on the Lenovo site for my laptop and the version of Windows for wireless network problems and it did not show anything.
I'd appreciate really no indication as to what to do next. I'm good enough at the end of my mind with this.
It's the weirdest thing ever. I decided to give it a try once again just for the heck of it and like magic it works all of a sudden. I can now connect to two networks very well. I have nothing after my last try yesterday evening except put the computer into hibernation... I don't know how it works now, but I appreciate the help! I'll create a restore right now, just in case. Thanks for your replies!

Work of the Working Group wired, but not with WAG160N wireless
I have a Vista PC serving a printer shares and give a working group with Vista, XP and OS X machines. The Vista PC is connected to the gateway. They all have the same workgroup name. Features such as printing, hand access and visibility machine works only when the PC client is connected with ethernet cable, not of wireless. On my client Vista, the problem is the same when my IP address is DHCP or static. Any suggestions? It is a quite fundamental problem with wireless connectivity. The gateway is running the version of firmware 1.00.09
It seems that the problem was with my software firewall of PC server.
After replacing the WAG160N with another router modem of brand, I still had the problem.
Disable my firewall deleted the question.
My firewall appeared to treat differently wired and wireless customers!
I had to manually enable files and printing, sharing, even if my home network was already defined as approved in the firewall configuration.

Lenovo X61T: (Intel WiFi Link 4695AGN) wireless adapter doesn't work!

I have been a user of X61T (tablet) for over 2 years now and have never had problems of WiFi connection, either. I've upgraded to Windows 7 last year and things have only improved.
Today, however, after the uninstall of a program called "Connectify" that basically turns your laptop into a WiFi hotspot, my wireless Radio JUST doesn't work! My wireless Radio switch (it's at the front) is on (I pushed to the right). Until yesterday, it was working great. I even used my wireless network to create a hotspot WiFi using Coonectify. I also removed from Connectify because it did not work. And then I just uninstall Connectify because I don't see an interest in the creation of a hotspot, when I have a wireless router at home. I restarted my PC and her Viola - wireless RADIO WAS DEAD! I do not see the Green LED for WiFi on the far left will blink more. Gone!
Went to Device Manager, and I see no problem with the device of 4695 Intel WiFi Link driver. Again, I uninstalled and downloaded the newest one. STILL DOES NOT!
I checked the records to see if I can find all the entries of Connectify which may cause the problem, but Nada! Nothing there too! I feel fairly pessimistic because I got a new wireless router yesterday NETGEAR N-150 and even not 24 hours later, I'm back using the ETHERNET cable.
I would really appreciate if someone can help me here! Thank you.

It is difficult to understand what you mean by not working do not.
Does that mean exactly?
You are not able to connect to the internet or what?Usually, if the wireless network card and LAN card have been properly recognized in Device Manager, then the drivers are working properly and the problem could be related to the router configuration bad or maybe some active firewall, etc.
First I recommend that you check the router settings. Check if the router has been configured with the right data from ISP and if all other options have been properly set.
The laptop supports the Realtek Wlan and LAN card.
Check if the wireless card uses the same standard WLan as the WLan router and if the right encryption has been used too. -
Hey, guys! Hoping someone here can help me. I am the proud owner of a Macbook (early 2015) of the retina, and I love it. I want to say that it was no problem, but I Can not - transfer does not work!
I logged in iCloud by using the same Apple ID on my iPhone (iPhone 6 s, iOS 9.3.3) and when I log in Messages on my Mac, I keep seeing in the left panel under 'Preferences' that my account is inactive. Whenever I try to send a message to someone, the name comes in red and I'm invited to sign it - except when I hit the sign in button, I'm actually still signed in and the account is activated! I take a glance settings iMessage on my iPhone and noticed that there is no option for transmission of Message text, so it was not possible to activate this feature.
I called Apple Support and they also found it strange that he did not work, they find more strange was that "I had all the ingredients, but it does not work" - which means, I am connected with the same ID, my number appears in the preferences of Message on my Mac, I signed with my identifier Apple to use iMessage on my iPhone... it's weird. The next day, I noticed that some aspects of the transfer procedure worked.
Every time I open Safari on my iPhone, it appears in the Dock on my Mac and vice versa. It goes the same for mail. I also noticed under "phone settings" on my iPhone, I had the opportunity to receive calls on my devices to iCloud, which listed my Macbook. I thought: 'very well! an improvement! "Later, I invited to enter a PIN code of my Mac on my iPhone and voila! Transfer text messages was there, I entered the code and then prayed. Back to the start box, Messages on my Mac refused to work. I kept getting the same problem as above. I must point out that Safari, Mail and phone were still working through transfer.
Today, I noticed nothing work - no mail, no phone and no Safari by transfer. The option to respond to calls on other iCloud devices have also disappeared.
When I contacted Apple, I was put with a counselor... but I have not heard yet return. He was also puzzled over there (but very useful). The impression I get from Apple, this is a problem at the level of the device. I'm not so convinced, I'm thinking it was to do with my account on the end of Apple (perhaps the Server/service level?). To my knowledge, Apple Support and specialist have not looked into this.
Here is what I tried:
- Turning iMessage/Facetime on my iPhone on and outside.
- Signature on my Apple ID for iMessage and Facetime and then signing back in.
- Disconnection and signature in Messages and Facetime on my mac.
- Signing in and out of the iCloud on my iPhone and Mac.
- Restart both devices when they are disconnected from the internet.
- Tried the signature using the App password. (did not work)
- Off the two-step verification. (that is, one more time)
- Signature on all of my Apple ID account by using only my email domain iCloud.
- IPhone restored like new.
- Recovery of the Internet on Macbook.
- Checked my iPhone automatically sets the time zone.
- To ensure that the region iMessage/Facetime and iPhone/Mac were the same (United States)
- I must emphasize that the region of my ID Apple is set to Barbados (where I'm from) so that I can use my local iTunes/App Store purchases credit card but I don't see how or even why it would affect the transfer procedure
- At the request of the Senior Adviser, I called my provider wireless (flow Barbados) to understand if they support the text Message Forwarding (they didn't know what I was talking about, first, that they said no encryption, it wasn't like call forwarding, and then when I explained to them, they said they were not sure and contact Apple even once).
- I don't know if this has nothing to do with it, but I find my iPhone refuses to connect to my MacBook via bluetooth after mating, my MacBook would say connected and my iPhone say not connected, and finally he would be dismissed. But sometimes it does not work when I use the Handoff... weird apps. Also, I can't seem to get AirDrop works, does not detect my devices between them. Just said that I would mention this in case it helps.
Honestly, this has me has raged for a few days now and I'm really at a loss as to what I should do.
Any ideas or suggestions? Whatever that either would be appreciated.
UPDATE: transfer of telephone, Mail and Safari doesn't work again... still no luck with Messages.
I have a few updates with screenshots, hope they help.
So, I get this message when I connect using the same Apple ID on iMessage on my iPhone and iCloud/Messages on my Mac.
When I signed, what happened. I was able to sign properly.
As you can see here, my ID Apple is connected and my number is recognized. Note, it continues to tell me that iMessage inactive (red underlined).
When I try to send a message to myself (even with other known users iMessage), this is what is happening.
For some reason, the recipient turns into this red box, where is my Apple ID is the box and I am being asked to activate my account of iMessage. When I click the activate option, I see that I am connected and the ID is activated.
This continues to baffle me.

HP Pavilion dv6-1375dx: limited connectivity (not), wired or wireless HP Pavilion dv6-1375dx
Without internet (metered) either wired or wireless using HP Pavilion dv6-1375dx. Cables and other wireless devices work fine on a home network/router.
Found some flags on the NIC in "Device Manager" but uninstalled and reinstalled and flags went. All devices report now works without error.
Have tried to start in safe mode with network (without help).
Uninstalled the software Bitdefender Total Security 2016: malware, spyware, firewall, antivirus (without help).
Turn on the Windows Firewall WILL NOT!
Emptying the cache TCP/IP (without help).
Have tried msconfig (to eliminate any startup) and the minimal system of windows (without help).
Tried to update device drivers by downloading from another PC and copy the files (no help, even pilot).
Tried several fixes to 'Register' solutions (without help).
Scanned with several "fix connection" or adware/spyware/malware programs (without help).
Have tried all the above several times, so please do not contact me to "try again". If your idea is not new, it won't help.
I am subject to the point that I believe that the network card is bad, even if it makes good.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP BEFORE THAT THIS CELL PHONE FELL INTO THE ATLANTIC OCEAN!

WIFI doesn't work does not correctly after driver update
I have a DESIRE 4 laptop 1023tu with operating system Windows 8 PRO. My WIFI works does not properly after the update drievr.
Problems...
1. When you try to connect to a wifi hotspot the quick adapter turns off and allows the card instantly
2. after connected, sometimes no internet access and the problem turns off only after reconnecting to the netwrok after setting off.
If the update doesn't work not for you then do as I explained in my previous post and roll back to the previous driver. This philosophy can be applied to all updates.
If there is no pressure or emerging reason to update to your PC or laptop works just great... do not update. (this is especially true when it comes to an update of the BIOS)
For your question #2, the problem could be your wireless (modem, router or access point) which causes the connection dropped.

Which cameras support remote wired or wireless?

I'm almost out and bought a HDR-PJ380 today, but after doublechecking, it seems that this camcorder is not a remote. It seems that most of them do not have remote controls. It is very important to me, so could someone list the camcorders that support a wired or wireless? One of the camcorders have iOS or Android apps for remote use?

However, I must say that I do not understand why I have to spend so much money on higher level cameras to get a wireless remote. In the box with camcorders, wireless remotes came 15 years ago, when digital video and all this technology did not exist. Currently, other camera makers put wireless remote controls in the box with their camcorders, and have applications with built in technology that I did not buy a $75 accessory for.
For what is wired, the RM - VD1 works with discontinuous models. The RM - AV2 seems to work with the HDR-PJ380/B but wired? For a $600 device? I am not including a remote wireless down end - $200 cameras, but for the price of the PJ380, a remote is expected.
I don't understand the deletion or lack of any attach/remote capture in the programming of Alpha dslr either, and I do not buy a telephoto and A65 as I predicted last week. I've been a Sony fan for years. I have two old Sony Camcorders (with wireless remotes I might add), two Sony televisions and two old cameras Sony that I always take pictures with today among the myriad of small electronic devices from sony I.
I'm disappointed in the lack of basic features in the Sony offerings right now, I'm very sorry to say.

Want 5660 printer: 5660 envy may be wired and wireless?

I have a new Evny 5660 all-in-one printer and I was wondering if I can configure it to be wired and wireless. I inow have it configured to be wireless for two computers - it connects to my network and both computers can access. However, I was wondering if there was a way to add also a USB connection on my desktop so there is work computer to the printer when the wireless is not enabled. I don't always have the wireless and then I can not print from this computer, so it would be nice to have the opportunity to do both, if there is a way to do it.
When you first install the printer, he used huge amounts of my posting of monthly wireless data, so I disabled (I hope) all updates and order options of connection so that it uses ONLY the wireless for my LAN connection - not to go out on the internet and download things by himself.

In the section "Installation and printer software" on the computer itself, it only gives the option to add a new printer, or to change the wireless settings - nothing about adding a wired USB connection.
Any help on how to do this very appreciated!

You need a USB cable from the printer. Not just a USB cable standard. Like this.
You should just be able to run the installer and follow the prompts to connect the USB cable and it should work.

Sorry, cannot be enabled by design. That said, the devices on a network don't like the way that others are connected. You can print from a wireless connection to a wired (Ethernet) printer and v/v.

E4200V1 disconnects - wired and wireless
I have random disconnects, but it is not only wireless, it's the trendy too. I updated the firmware and I still have questions. the 4200 worked fine for 3 years, and all of a sudden it just starts dropping across the network at random.

Hi kxlara. Intermittent connection for wired and wireless is usually caused by a bad firmware. You updated the firmware version of the router yourself? Did you do a hard reset of the device as soon as you have made with the upgrade process? I suggest that you do. To do the correct reset, simply press the reset button on the router for 30 seconds while the unit is turned on. Release the button and unplug the unit. Reinstall the settings from scratch. Hope that helps.

I am currently on my laptop. I have my Windows Vista Home Premium desktop connected with a wire to the internet, and there is currently no link. I can't even connect wirelessly, and yet my laptop is fine with both. It was not identified until I restored the a few days before, and now he has no connection whatsoever. Type of emergency because my business is at a standstill right now because of this. Edit: Where you plug your cable internet on your computer, it normally has a flashing beside him, but it currently isn't. I can plug the wire into my laptop and it works fine, but not with the office. So I know this isn't a problem of modem/router, it's a computer problem.
