Don't send mail Windows Mail-out

Hello
I have windows mail, I get incoming mail, but my coming out does not work. I went through the technical support of Bellsouth and concluded that the problem is Windows, not bellsouth.

This is the error message which appears...

The connection to the server has failed. "Hola", account: 'mail.bellsouth.net', server: 'mail.bellsouth.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, secure (SSL): no, Socket error: 10060, error number: 0x800CCC0E

I went to tools and accounts-servers
My incoming mail server is a POP3 and outgoing SMTP so much... tell mail.bellsouth.net

then under the tab advanced... He says
Server port numbers
outgoing mail SMTP 25
Incoming POP3 110 mail

I don't know what to do... I need to reply to my messages of the company.

Amanda

This has been an ongoing problem with me.  The best ive got answer is 'Vista for you.'  to solve this problem I reset to continually my default programs.

First of all close out of windows messaging, then proceed as follows.

1. click the button START

2. click on default programs

3. default configuration programs

4. Select windows mail

5 set this program as default

6 OK

Return to the Outbox folder and open one of the e-mail and press send.  This should unlock and send all that are in the Outbox folder.

I have to do this process very often (every two week or two.)

I tried to find the answer to this problem forever and finally decided to follow the process of resetting my windows e-mail program every time.

Not to say what your specific problem but its worth a try and will not harm what whether in the process.

Cannot remove the e-mail address of the entity to which I address email. I have read the tutorials and instructions and tried all the options of Thunderbird, but I can't find the key to the repression in any Options or advanced settings with the latest version of Windows 10. The illustration of Thunderbird Support for this function does not match my choice of Tools/Options/Advanced/Composition in address book. I'm obviously on something, but I also tried settings/Composition & addressing / Global dial in account preferences.

You must use the e-mail address of the recipients to send mail. There is no option to use something else that the receiving server will have no idea who 'mother' is only [email protected].

  • Problems sending mail in Windows Live Mail (and Windows Mail)

    De :  MarkJ

    Hello

I had a go at some of the solutions I've seen for this problem but have had no luck yet, I wonder if Miss me something?

So, I can receive emails without problem (in Windows Live Mail and Windows Mail), but don't have had no success sending (although I can always send mails when I access my account online).

The fixes I've tried so far are:

-through my account settings and to ensure that they are as indicated by my email provider (I have an ntlworld account). IE POP3 and SMTP settings must be correct.

-then I tried to check the box "my server requires authentication" (did not work)
    - then I tried completely disabling my firewall/anti-anti-virus/e-mail protection (ZoneAlarm) who also worked
    - then I tried to install an update of sorts for Windows Mail (not Live Mail) (found on a Board communities, sorry can't remember which, but it was an official update from microsoft)... and it does not work
-Finally, I tried to install Windows Live Mail... and Yes you guessed it, that does not work either (I also checked the settings etc.)

....... I wonder why things have to be so difficult?

Can someone please tell me where I'm wrong!

This is the error message I get:

The connection to the server has failed.

    Subject 'Test '.
    Server: 'smtp.ntlworld.com '.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0E
    Protocol: SMTP

To solve the problem of sending (at home) once for all, you need to replace the Server SMTP from Orange to smtp.ntlworld.com. I don't know, what if Orange will allow you to keep your return address of NTL, when sending to Windows Mail. It's worth a try.

    2. you receive any error message or student of the error?
    3. don't you make changes on the computer before the show?
    4. is the question confined with any particular email?

    Method 2:
Some common antivirus programs occasionally cause problems in Windows Mail. You can try to disable the antivirus software and check if you are able to send mail.
    Disable the anti-virus software
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Help!

This kind of behavior is very often due to antivirus.  You are using.  If its McAfee or Norton get rid of them completely.   There are others who are also incompatible.  Everything you try, make sure that the analysis of e-mail is disabled.   You can also try to repair the database and see if that helps (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).  And see also www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

  • Windows mail will not send mail

I haven't had any problem send and receive emails with Windows mail up to what a few days ago.

I get the error message is 0x800CCC0F.

It's a simple mail without an attachment file.

I even downloaded and installed Windows Live Mail, but it's the same thing, cannot send emails.

    I get emails OK.

I move in [send] mail [project] and click on [send all] and it goes all right, but when I have something in the Outbox, and then it crashes and receive the same error 0x800CCC0F.

Because Windows Live Mail application has failed, I guess that even if I overwright install the OS, which is Vista, it probably does not work...

    Have a question there?

Start with this Port number.   Port 80 is usually reserved for HTTP.    Try the 25.

Unless your host secureserver.net says something, otherwise...

Oh.  They do it?  But no information for WLMail, so you have to adapt...

In particular, I think, note this:

NOTE: "smtpout.secureserver.net" is a relay SMTP server. To use this server to send e-mail messages, you must enable SMTP relay on your e-mail account. Connect to your management page email accounts to set up SMTP relay. If you have not set up SMTP relay and allows it to your Internet Service Provider (ISP), you can use the server of mail from your Internet Service provider. Contact your Internet service provider for this setting.
