  Go in Edition/Preferences and from there to Global and General settings. You will see a box unchecked to show welcome screen. Check it out.

  In the lawsuit, you should have either the 'what's new' or 'Welcome' and not both. You can check that in the Help menu. Because you do not see the Welcome screen you should have the experience of "what's new".

  Is there a way to permanently disable the home screen?

  Check "don't show home screen" does not work in some applications (such as InDesign and Illustrator). I saw this question quite constantly in CC 2014 and 2015 across 3 different Macs (2 x 10, 9 and 1 x 10.10) and it starts to become very frustrating.

  1. look in EVERY folder on your device... Applications, instant messaging, downloads, etc.
  If you don't see it still, look at the Options > advanced > Applications. Do you not see it listed there?

  2 is it hidden? On your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL, so that ALL DISPLAY is checked.

  Just got my smartwatch 2 yesterday. I've paired successfully with my Xperia z. Now, the watch does not display the home screen it shows that time dimmed. When I try to press the home button, it doesn't do anything, I tried to update it but still the same problem. I got a call on my cell and I was able to handle the watch by cancelling or answering. Any ideas.

  As says @Curnow1 looks like your phone is set in priority mode.
  Press the volume once key to increase the volume. Depending on your version of Android, you might also get a menu at the top of the screen where you you can choose between Silent, priority and sound. Choose her and this star will disappear.

  Simply touch and drag down to the bottom of the screen. You will then see just the arrow ^ (you can change this way of 0 to 3 lines of icons). Then, when you tap on the bar with the arrow, you will get your full screen, the icons back.
