  • WHY don't images suddenly appear or show in my gmail messages using Firefox 12.0 AND 13.0 but I can see the beautiful in IE9?

WHY don't pictures suddenly not appear or display in my personal messages gmail using Firefox 12.0 AND 13.0 but I can see the beautiful in IE9? This isn't a problem with the images being seen on Web sites or in emails from various sites like Amazon, Bloomies, etc.. It is a problem with the images, copied and pasted while composing mail in GMAIL and the other Windows Live email accounts, etc. It started suddenly yesterday when I still had version 12.0 Firefox. (there may be a few days, but I hadn't been reading emails too for a few days due to time constraints). This morning I tried to find some fix for this by searhcing constantly through the web and through the forums of Firefox here. I checked my version of Firefox and also check for updates after about 2 hours of research from the forums without success and I was about to just get rid of Firefox 12 because some people were just that frustration with finding no solution, when suddenly, I got a message from Firefox 'urge' Update update me Firefox 13. It was AFTER I had just checked an hour earlier to see if there's an update! I did this update to version 13.0, BUT again, I do not receive emails containing images with these images posted (messages sent from my other e-mail account for myself and also e-mails to a friend - the two images containing). However, I can send and receive your same emails through IE9 in my gmail account and see all of the images of the FINE through IE9. What gives? I am so tired of what's going on. It happened before about a year or two ago, but I do not remember how it was corrected for ever. According to me, it has been resolved by a Firefox patch, and no action on our part. And these 4 + hours of work on that is just crazy. WHO has that kind of time to devote to fix these defects that occur every time updates of Firefox? I can not even find any mention of the same show. Now I'm seriously behind. You talk about time constraints! Anyone else having this problem? Someone at - he found a cure yet?

Is he missing pictures then make sure you are not block images from certain domains.

    • Check the permissions for the domain in the active tab in "tools > Page Info > Permissions.
    • Check that the images are enabled: Tools > Options > content: [X] loading images automatically
    • Check exceptions in "tools > Options > content: Load Images > Exceptions.
    • See the tab "tools > Page Info > media ' for blocked images (scroll all the images with the cursor key).

If an image in the list is grayed out and there is a check mark in the box "block Images of..." and remove this mark to unlock the images from this area.

Make sure that you do not block the images of third parties, the pref permissions.default.images must be 1.

There are also extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) and security software (firewall, antivirus) that can block images.

I tried NoSquint (looked simpler) and that did the trick... I am now back to where I was before this upgrade. Thank you.

Looks like you got the wrong printer selected.

When you get the print window, choose another printer in your printer dropdown. You seem to have a fax printer selected instead of a physical printer.

  • Why is facebook knows my location based on my login information using firefox?

I don't normally log my FB account, but I recently made using Firefox. I received a notification that I had connected using firefox and also there was my location. -What happened? Is it a setting on Firefox (which I can't find) or is my place revealed through the servers of my ISP and actually has nothing to do with Firefox? It's my best guess, but I'm not really sure.

Hi khum, yes - websites can guess your approximate location based on your ip address which is sent with each request (which is required to route traffic to the right place in the network):
    http://www.YouGetSignal.com/tools/network-location/
Unfortunately, there is not much we can do against that, except am trying to use a vpn, proxy or something service like the Pack of navigation tor to hide your 'real' while browsing IP.

  • I get a message that gmail is not supported by IE, but I use Firefox

A few weeks ago, I started having a message that my version of Gmail was not supported by IE. But I don't use IE. I talked to my tech and we ensured compatibility view in Internet Explorer is turned off, I have the latest version of IE - 11. This problem appears when I connect to gmail or log off, not always. I can work around it and stay connected while I'm online or you connecting to google. But it's frustrating. I visited the gmail on this forum and the best answer they had been updated IE 11 (already done) and use another browser like Firefox (already in the help). So, how can I get rid of this message?

Hi Regnuhann, if you want to open the Firefox Add-ons page, you can use one of these methods:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, you can choose categories such as Plugins or Extensions. Then these items will appear on the right.

I'm not sure that's what you mean by:

I don't have a Firefox toolbar to add ons.

  • Strange glitch Visual on the taskbar when using Firefox

    Hello

I feel a strange glitch Visual on the taskbar when using firefox.

Please take a look at this short video because it shows the problem, it's almost impossible to show in pictures.

I use firefox on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit v36.0.1. Video card is an ASUS R9 280 X using the latest drivers from AMD 14.12 Catalyst Omega Software.

Motherboard is an ASUS M5A88 with 16 GB of ram and a processor of 6300 FX.

It is a new construction that I have implemented in the last 24 hours, and this behavior was not present on the system using the same version of windows, firefox and even map chart and drivers. But on another card mother and CPU. Previous Board of Directors has been
    M4A79XTD EVO with a Phenom II X 4 955BE.

The glitching does not occur when it is on the desktop and firefox is closed. It will not occur when you use IE - 64 nor does it when I am using the steam software or any Explorer windows/opening files.

All the motherboard drivers are installed correctly, the integrated graphics card is disabled in the BIOS. I disabled the settings of firefox for hardware acceleration, smooth scrolling and text... to see if it was the question. It wasn't.

I'd appreciate any help to solve this... Really, I don't want to use a different browser but it's bad enough and quite distracting to really annoy me, and I don't see any alternative.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi jscher2000

I was about to post a reply, because a friend suggested that maybe that's a rendering of issue rather than a firefox one video card even if it's strange how it affected firefox only. I didn't have a chance to test it on Chrome as it is a new construction and I don't want to install the software, I do not use.

I went to the Manager of catalyst and had a glance to the settings. I changed something, but no help... I then started to make a simple change and test until I found that the activation "gpu up-scaling" in the properties of digital flat screens has solved the problem.

    I am now free twinkle

Thanks for your quick response however.

  • No sound when using Firefox Hello despite Firefox playing audio files in Web sites correctly...

I tried to use Firefox Hello to a conversation with my mother, who also uses Firefox. She could not get any sound, just the video image, despite the volume being defined properly controls. The microphone settings are correct, and in fact, I tried to call using two different computers but with the same result every time. I used successfully for a conversation with someone different. We all have two Windows 7 Professional v36.0 Firefox

My mother is able to listen to the audio tracks in websites using Firefox but I don't hear a thing in Hello, what makes all this seems quite strange.

Happy to say everything works now. Nothing has changed, so why it wasn't working the other day? One of life little mysteries but work he does, which is all that matters.

  • Why my optimum voice mail is not operable using Firefox? OK with IE and Google Chrome.

Whenever recently, lately, using Firefox to open my homepage of optimum.net my voicemail is "not available at this time." It of OK for a few years and is still OK if I use Internet Explorer of Google Chrome, Firefox only gives the problem. Looks like I'll have to give up Firefox, unless it is resolved. I tried "Refresh Firefox' nothing works. My OS is Windows 7 premium.

Thanks for the reply. It has been supported Optimum who suggested to use another browser. However, I'm gone differently in voice via the Optimum homepage and manually reaches Optimum voicemail, close and back on to my homepage Optimum access to voicemail had returned. I don't know why he did it, obviously the Optimum support guy was incorrect.

Inspect the element don't say what substitute fonts.

Firefox 24 ESR has the tab fonts in the Inspector, which shouldn't be a problem.
