Dongle wireless Duo 13 - What is the security key?

Hello

VAIO Duo 13: When I plug the USB dongle and insert an ethernet cable, a new wireless access point is available. When I try to connect to it, Windows asks the security key. Anyone know what it is? (If I hold the button on the dongle, Windows tries to connect, but fails and then asks for security key.)

It must be indicated on the dongle itself

I entered a number, I thought was the key to security, but said msg number is incorrect.  How will I know what is the security key?

    Hello LindaBarker,

If you you were given your Internet Service Provider (ISP) Linksys router I would then contact them on connect.  If you bought this router separately, I would still contact your ISP first, and then you have to go to Linksys for support on this.

    Thank you

What are the security risks by allowing a program to change the registry keys in Windows 7, without knowing what are the changes?

    Hello

If you had made any changes in the registry without taking the backup copy of the registry, then there could be chances that your computer can find themselves in no situation to start and finally end up in the reinstallation of the operating system; This is why it is recommended to take a backup changed in the register of representation.

Before editing a registry key or subkey, we recommend that you export, or make a backup copy of the key or the subkey. You can save the backup copy to a location that you specify, for example, a folder on your hard drive or a removable storage device. If you make changes that you want to cancel, you can import the backup copy.

. Are what program you referring?

  • What are the security settings to lock a form with fields to fill and still allow someone drive to fill in the fields as as to save the form and print it?

What are the security settings to lock a form with fields to fill and still allow someone drive to fill in the fields as as to save the form and print it?

You want to allow someone to open your document and fill in the form (the fields that you have created), but not change or edit the form, right? Here is the answer - assuming you use Acrobat Pro and someone will open the PDF with the Acrobat Reader 9 minimum and more:

    Tools > Protection > encrypt< encrypt="" with="">

    Select YES to change security.

    Opens in a new window:

Do not select NOT open the Document (or will require a password to open the document.)

SELECT: Permissions (check the box next to ' Restrict editing and printing of the document. ")

Change the following 2 settings in the drop-down list box:

    Printing allowed: select high resolution

Changes allowed: select commenting on, fill in the fields on the form and signature of signature fields
Selected leave: "enable access text for playback devices to screen for people with visual impairments.

Change password Permissions (insert a password)

Leave all the other settings alone in 'Options '.

    OK - OK

Again enter the Permissions password (the one you entered above)

    OK - OK

Save the PDF file to apply security [notice that (SECURED0 will appear after the title of the document]

I'm trying to find the security key for my office. my laptop has a wireless con.  When I try to connect to my office it asks me to type in the security key I don't know where to find it

The key to security or password is usually configured by accessing the settings of your wireless router.

You may need to contact your ISP for more details on how to do it.

  • Change the security key on a C4580 all in one printer

I use my C4580 for several weeks now without a problem and has been taking place as a WEP key. However after some problems of network security I improved the security of WPA. Obviously my printer would not connect with these new security settings, so I looked for updating them, however, I see no way to do it. I deleted the printer, drivers and all and reinstalled many times, I downloaded the latest drivers, but whatever I do, he'll never find the printer when searching for it, it's like there is no. I thought that the default reset using the control panel of the printer would work, but remained without effect. Is there a way to adjust these settings, or do a 'true' factory reset to get this printer doesn't work. I can make it work like USB, but this defeats the purpose of haviing a network printer. I can't believe that once security is set is set for life!, but what it seems.

    See you soon

    Neil

Hey thanks for that I have spent many happy evenings frustrated when he said "cannot find the printer", I assumed that because the security key was wrong. I followed the video, ignored, when he says he can't find it, and hey presto, everything works. so simple... Without doubt, I did that when I installed it first, but who was so long ago.

    See you soon
