Dos command trying to open user account

Windows 7 Home Premium with two user accounts had a double dose of the FBI virus attacks as well as high jacker Ice.  Virus cleared and I am able to open an account without problem. "When try to open another I get a screen black with a box back, C:\users\accountname\documents\52847225.exe is not an internal or external, order a program executable or batch file" C: windows (System 32) line. Is it possible to open this user account and clear the check box. Its been a long time I used ddos orders. Thank you!

Hello

You can perform a full computer scan using Windows Defender in offline mode. It can help eliminate hard to find malicious and potentially unwanted programs using definitions that recognize the threats. Definitions are files that provide an encyclopedia of potential software threats. Armed with definition files, Windows Defender in offline mode can detect malicious and potentially unwanted software and then inform you of the risks.

What is Windows Defender Offline? : http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/what-is-windows-defender-offline

Note: There could be a loss of data while performing a mode offline scan using Windows Defender to remove viruses as appropriate.

Thank you.

    Hi Richard hartwell,.

Could you tell what antivirus software you have installed on your Windows XP machine?

The problem occurs because of a software antivirus installed on your Windows XP computer.

See article Knowledge Base MicrosoftAntivirus software may Cause Event ID 2011 for a likely solution, specifying a value of IRPStackSize 15 on the Windows XP computer.

As a test, you can consider disabling the security software on your Windows 7 machine as well.

  • Is it possible to run the command script with user account administrator rights?

Is it possible to run the command script with administrator user account rights means please tell me how to...

I need to run it in windows 7 professional service pack 1.

There are a few myths that won't go away, for example

    • You can perform administrative tasks when you are working from a command prompt.
    • A script (batch file, VBScript, PowerShell) gives you administrative rights.

There is no substance to a myth. Your account has administrator privileges, or it does not. There is no backdoor.

  • User accounts - > user accounts to manage a link doesn't work is not in Windows 7 64 bit

    Hello

I tried to open the Panel-> user accounts-> accounts less manage accounts does not create a new account link. My OS is Windows 7 64 bit. 32-bit Internet Explore doesn't work. I tried to register the dll files to 32-bit internet explorer, but it does not work. Please help me.

    Hi Madhavaarimilli,

-You receive an error message when you try to create a new user account or access to Internet Explorer 32-bit?

First of all, I suggest to start the computer in safe mode and check if you can create a new account on your computer. To boot to the desktop in safe mode keep tapping key F8 during restart. Once you see the option to start in safe mode, select it and press ENTER.

Access the link to learn more about how to start the computer in safe mode: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

To create a new user account follow the steps below:

    1. open user accounts by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click user accounts and family safety (or by clicking on user accounts, if you are connected to a network domain), and then clicking user accounts.

    2. click on Manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    3. click on create a new account.

4 type the name that you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click create an account.

If the problem persists in safe mode, I would say allowing you to run the auditor of file system (CFS) analyze and check if if helps solve you the problem.

To run the Scan SFC follow these steps:

    1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.

    2. right click on cmd in the list programs and then click Run as administrator.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue

    3. at the command calls, the following line and press ENTER: sfc/scannow

Access the link below to learn more about the execution of the System File Checker:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/936212

For question connects to open Internet Explorer, I would say to run the Internet Explorer troubleshooting utility built into Windows 7 and check to see if it helps you solve the problem.

To run the Internet Explorer troubleshooter, follow these steps:

    1. close all programs.

    2. click on start and then click Control Panel.

    3. under system and security, click on find and fix problems.

    4. in the left pane, click View all.

    5. click on Internet Explorer Performance. This opens a new window.

    6. click Next.

    7. the resolution of the issues will take place and try to solve the issues raised everything automatically. Click Close.

After the store has run successfully, check to see if you receive the same error.

Also access the link below and follow the steps to solve the problem with Internet Explorer.

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Answers.

Do you have connected to your computer as an administrator?

User Account Control (UAC) notifies you before changes are made to your computer that require administrator-level permissions. The default UAC notifies you when programs try to make changes to your computer, but you can change how often UAC notifies you.

Open user account control settings by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type uac, and then click change user account control settings.

  • How to remove a user account on my computer.

I would like to delete a user account on MY computer and don't know how.  The account has a password and I don't want to have to ask the person for his or her password.  It is no longer resident at home.  I think that my computer's performance will increase considerably if I do this as there are things stored there who gets up on my computer and it is not used.  Appreciate your help.

    Hi momoftwo_,

When you delete a user account, you can choose if you want to keep the files created under that account; However, the messages and settings on the computer for the account will be removed.

    (a) open user accounts by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking user accounts and family safety, clicking user accounts, and then clicking Manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    (b) click the account you want to delete and then click delete the account.

    (c) decide whether to keep or delete the files created under the account by clicking keep files or delete files.

    (d) click on remove account.

If you want to reduce the number of unnecessary files on your hard disk to free up disk space and help your computer run faster, use disk cleanup. It removes temporary files, empty the Recycle Bin, and removes a variety of file system and other items that you no longer need.

    Delete files using disk cleanup

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/delete-files-using-disk-cleanup

    I hope this helps!

  • Updated mapping of user names in C:\Users Control Panel user accounts.

    Hello
Windows Vista Edition Home Premium SP2. I'm trying to match user accounts in Control Panel with those listed in C:\Users\(name-of-user).
I need to do this on a new computer, so I can network with existing computers.
On my 3 computers existing, somehow my user accounts in Control Panel do not match the underlying names in C:\Users but I all do not match the same way on all computers and am able to share with them. For example, I have a user account named "ComputerAdmin" in the control panel that is the username 'Gift' which can be found in the C:\Users.I to add this fourth computer and match all names in C:\Users then they are the same on all computers, and I want to match user accounts in Control Panel so that they are all the same on all computers , and finally, I want to synchronize the C:\Users to user accounts in Control Panel on this fourth computer so that it will be in the network.
I did this once before with the help and it was not too difficult to do, I just forgot how I did it. What is the best way to accomplish this task? All computers are running Vista. TIA
    Don

I don't think it's your problem. If you have a user account password 1234 on one computer Bob and Bob password 1234 on another computer, properly configured firewall and actions put in place properly, sharing will be flawless. I answered your question above several times and I'm afraid that I don't know how to make it more clear. I am sympathetic that you do not want to hear this, but implementation of sharing between computers if bit normally takes about 5-7 minutes. But without being able to see your network and computers, I can't be specific about what you're doing wrong.

Here's my usual network troubleshooting information. If you still can't get it, you can have one tradesperson come on-site and to fix things for you. This is not a person of a type BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to help you.

Excellent, comprehensive, but easy to understand article on sharing files/printer under Vista. Contains information about sharing printers and files, and the folders:

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727037.aspx

For XP, start by running the Network Setup Wizard the on all machines (see warning in section A below).

Problems sharing files between computers on a network are usually caused by 1) a misconfigured firewall or a firewall neglected (including a dynamic firewall in a virtual private network); or (2) inadvertently run two firewalls such as the firewall of Windows and a third-party firewall. and/or (3) do not have accounts to the same users and passwords on all computers in the workgroup. (4) tries to create actions where the operating system does not.

    A. configure the firewall on all machines to allow traffic to local area network (LAN) as being approved. With the Windows Firewall, it means which allows file sharing / print on the Exceptions tab normally run the XP Network Setup Wizard will take care of this for these machines. The only "witch hunt", it will turn on the XPSP2 Windows Firewall. If you are not running a third-party firewall or you have an antivirus/security with its own firewall component program, then you're fine.  With a third-party firewall, I usually set up the allocation of LAN with an IP address range. E.g. would be 192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.254. Obviously you would substitute your correct subnet. Refer to the safety of any third party program or the user forums for how to correctly configure its firewall. Do not run more than one firewall. DON'T STOP FIREWALLS; CONFIGURE THEM CORRECTLY.

    (B) to facilitate the Organization, put all computers in the same workgroup. This is done from the System applet in Control Panel, the computer name tab.

    (C) in Vista, turn on password protected sharing. Create accounts of users and corresponding passwords on all machines. You do not need to be logged into the same account on all machines and assigned to each user account passwords can be different; accounts/passwords just need to exist and to match on all machines. DO NOT NEGLECT TO CREATE PASSWORDS, EVEN IF ONLY OF SIMPLE. If you want a machine to boot directly to the desktop (a particular user account) for convenience, you can do this:

XP - set up Windows to automatically connect (MVP Ramesh) - http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Autologon.htm

Vista - Start ORB > Search > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

    D. Si one or more of the computers is XP Pro or Media Center, turn off Simple file sharing (Folder Options > view tab).

    E. create share as you wish. XP Home does not share the users directory or the Program Files, but you can share folders inside those directories. A better choice is to simply use the Shared Documents folder. See the first link above for more information on Vista sharing.

    F. you have the job of file sharing (and tested by exchanging a file between machines), if you want to share a printer connected locally to one of your computers, share of this machine. Then go to the printer mftr Web site. and download the latest drivers for the correct system. Install them on the target machines. The printer must be collected during the installation procedure. If this isn't the case, install the drivers and then use the Add Printer Wizard. In some cases, printers must be installed as local printers, but it is outside this response. • I would like to change the password of a standard user account.

original title: change password in Windows 7

I would like to change the password of a standard user account. Windows 7 tells me that if I do that some data may be lost. What data, specifically, I lose if I proceed?

    I solved the problem.

Initially, I tried to reset the password using computer management > local users and groups > set password. However when I tried Control Panel > user accounts > manage user accounts > reset password I was able to change it without any error message. I guess there is a difference between 'set password' and 'reset password '.

  • All user accounts Windows XPrestricted open all of a sudden 'Map network drive' by clicking on the desktop and the "research" by clicking on any folder

    Hello

you have a problem with my Windows laptop that left me speechless.

I would really appreciate if someone could provide a solution or any ideas where to start fixing this, as I get close to return to the previous backup full system, but reluctant to do so as I have never done it before so I'm worried if it really works as supposed (Macrium and Ping).

    1. description of the problem

All users of Windows XP (SP3) restricted accounts open all of a sudden 'Map network drive' by clicking on the desktop and the "research" by clicking on any folder, including My Documents.

However, all accounts administrator work as before and also user accounts work like so usual, they are included in the Administrators group, with respect to the clicks of the workstation and records.

In addition, the correct icons for 'Drive' and 'Record' are visible when connected as long as administrator but lacking when logged as long as user restricted when you check the file associations by "open the folder and then click on Folder Options in the Tools menu.» Click the registry file types list. »

    2 solution unsuccessful attempts

    2. google and tried the solution to manually change the registry entries from Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321186

    "
Start the editor of the register (Regedt32.exe).
Look for, and then click the default value under the following registry keys if this problem occurs with folders:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
If this problem occurs with drives:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell
Click on edit in the Edit menu.
Type 0 in the value data box, and then click OK.
    Exit the registry editor.
    "

(Fixit associated meanings has also not working for some reason, says that the Windows Installer does not run, don't know if the same problem...)

    2B. and then also tried the fix "regsvr32 /i shell32.dll" at http://blog.chron.com/helpline/2005/10/double-click-opens-search-instead-of-folder/.

After these steps, the registry under "Drive" and "Directory" information are as attaché at the end read somewhere there should be a "find" under lock and key, as I have, but don't know if the subkeys under 'Search' are what causes weird behavior.

If anyone knows and could provide what the values for the registry values must be in a system that works, would be nice to compare to possible problems.

Unsuccessfully, with what precedes, to solve the problem, but noticed through that:

2 c. When you are logged in as administrator, I am able to see and modify the registry keys concerned with regedit, considering that when logged in as a regular user, I get an error that translates roughly as "the key could not be opened [consultation]?.» Error in opening the key. "for"Default icon"and subkeys 'shell' to 'Drive' and some subkeys under"shellex ".

Oddly enough, this is also the case even if I "Run with" regedit as a user belonging to the Administrators group when logged in as a limited user.  Could be the mechanism of Windows registry access.

Noticed that the small group 'Users' did not have access to "Drive". Grant read access, even as the "directory" and other registry keys next to them, for "users".

Now see the values of registry as a limited user, but the problem persists. Do you really know what to try next, after spending hours Googling for answers.

3 computer laptop environment and other factors

    3. don't know if it's related, but perhaps that coincides the time and the possible reason of sage:

I had the problem two days ago described in "account Administor doesn't have access to some files and registry entries" to http://www.experts-exchange.com/OS/Microsoft_Operating_Systems/Windows/XP/Q_27415496.html.

Zone alarm free firewall prevented changing the key of HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microdsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.

Which was fixed as in the article above tweaking of Zonealarm settings so that changes are allowed.

    3. the environment of the laptop:

    Acer Travelmate 8204 laptop

Windows XP SP3 with virtually all updates of installed Microsoft.

Recent issues (related?) with the .NET Framework 4 updates and the repair facility. FixIt against MS to install MS Update and the Application works and reveals no problems, but the settings from-> Panel-> Add or Remove Applications said that it cannot change or delete NET Framework 4.

ZoneAlarm Free Firewall version: 11.0.000.057, prevented possible culprit get earlier access to the registry, uninstall?

Norton Antivirus version recently installed 20.3.1.22, possibly in conflict with ZA or bug?

It seems that I managed to solve the problem on my own. Did two things:

1 set the registry keys determine programs associated objects 'Répertoire', 'Drive' and 'File' to the default values by using the settings found here: http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\

    2. If you want to have permissions for group 'Users' to read all these keys in the registry. For some reason any access worked only partly for standard users.

Not sure who finally solved this problem, but after I had finished 1. and 2. for the purpose of 'Record', by clicking on 'My computer' and any folder works normally for all users of the computer.

I suspect that some recent installation of program which adds actions associated with these objects messed up the registry. Suspects are Norton Antivirus and dbPowerAmp.

Thanks for the suggestions for this problem!

    Hello Bill,

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

As I understood it, you experience the problem, you cannot change the automatic updates even if you are logged on as an administrator user account. The option is grayed out on the system.

    Certainly, I understand your concern.

I would suggest trying the following steps and check if that helps.

    1. Open the editor of the register of the command RUN by typing "regedit" and click OK.
    2. In the tree on the left, open following files-online HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate.
    3. Remove the automatic "Update" folder This will remove all previous settings for automatic update.
    4. Open the automatic update of the control panel and option as usual.
    5. If automatic update is always gray, type the command "gpupdate/force" RUN and click OK or restart the operating system.

Note: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
