Double click mouse randomly

I'm in trouble very frustrating. My wired mouse double-clicks when I single click, and it happens in all programs. I tried to search it as much as possible before posting here. I bought a new mouse, tried different ports, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled Universal Serial Bus Controllers in safe mode and normal mode, checked for new programs that may ask questions and probably tried other things that I don't remember right now. Any ideas?

Which is probably due to a standard mouse Setup.  Take a look at the configuration of the mouse as well as take a look at the easy access section.

  • Simple mouse click randomly acts as a double click

For some time now, on my system, whenever I click (left or right) with my mouse, it works as I double-clicked. It is a random behavior and is not always the case.

Sometimes I can go a few minutes without getting that kind of behavior, but it seems that the more I use my mouse (click wise County), gets this more aggressive behavior. It generates a lot of click mouse (and high-low) messages from windows with a single click.

By dragging the items with the mouse or the selection of several elements with the mouse has become a nightmare. When I click and drag the mouse on the desktop for the selection rectangle, it breaks and restarts the selection several times until I come to the end of the selection rectangle.

I don't know that this is not a problem with the mouse device. I have faced this problem with mouse devices replaced, too. Looks like a virus to me. I used a lot of free anti-virus and analytical tools to scan my computer for viruses. Some of them detected a few threats and I removed all threats. I regularly run windows Defender (complete analysis) every week, but he found nothing. I even install AVG (2013) test and scanned my computer but none of these tools have been able to eliminate this problem.

I also deleted and installed the drivers, restore by default and so on.  Early on that I thought mouse click Springs had failed, but managed to eliminate this possibility.  Virus cleaning etc is also without effect.  (Microsoft virus tools, btw, are probably the most useless; they rarely or never found anything).

  • Can I put a double click my mouse from Apple?

Over the years, I've used many third-party mouse, but now in part because of problems of drivers with this mouse, I would give the Apple mouse that I got with my newish iMac to try. But I'm really used to having the number of right mouse button double click. Double click clicking once with my middle finger greatly relieves the pressure on my arthritic fingers. Is there a way to set the secondary click as a double click on the mouse from Apple? (I'm used to use Ctrl-click to join the context menus, so I do not have the usual setting right click on the mouse).

    Thank you

    Rob

You can take a look at BetterTouchTool. If you are using a wired Apple mouse you can set, for example, Middle-click as a double click. To do this, a whole lot more of course. Right now it's still free, but its change to a sort of pay what you want plan. I did not read all of this.

There is undoubtedly a way to write a small script you could start with double click of the mouse, but it's something that I personally never did.

  • Extremely frustrating mouse double click when you use the docking station?

I have a mobile workstation 15 zbook and love it.  I have a docking station at work and even from one station to the House.

When I plug the docking to the mouse House will be double-click whenever I have one click.  Simple click, I have to quickly move out of the object or it clicks double in each time.   I tried a new mouse, to reduce the speed of double click and is NOT the case on my docking station at work or when the laptop computer use with the mouse connected locally.

It of extremely frustrating and makes working at home a pain rather than productive.

You ask if anyone has seen elsewhere, or have any suggestions?

  • My mouse double click sometimes, and sometimes don't register the click.

I slam my finger down on the left click and it clicks then, otherwise not.
Sometimes it will be a single click-double-click.
Only occurs with a left click, right click is perfect.
I checked the parameters of double click in the mouse settings.
I reinstalled software for my Logitech LX7 optical mouse several times. Updated, nothing.
He did this for about 3 months, then stopped for 2-3 weeks and returned as of today.
The only thing I can think of that I did differently, was that I was not playing a video game in windowed mode. (w to find target) I played it in windowed mode for the first time for several weeks and now she's back. I stopped to play in windowed mode, and he has not disappeared.
I reinstalled the driver for my mouse several times. Unplugged, he moved to a different usb port.
It is not my mouse because she does it with my mouse trackball of factory too.

I bought a new mouse. Problem solved.

  • My mouse is double click

Windows XP Home Edition / SP3 / Google Chrome.  I'm having a problem with my mouse. My settings are set to my left click button, but when I click it, double-click it. If I type an address in the URL search bar, and I want to click with the mouse to place the cursor in a certain place, it is highlighting a word or all words in blue, as if I wanted to copy. So, if I want to copy and paste, I press the button down to copy, it shows the blue highlight, but when I reach the end of what I want to copy, when I release the button, the blue highlighting disappears. Or if I want to copy the 3 words at the beginning of a paragraph, when I drag the slider, it highlights the entire paragraph.  I tried it with a different mouse and the same thing happens. If I click on a link, 2 new tabs open. If I click to open a new tab, 2 tabs open. I can't tell if it's a problem of Windows or Google Chrome.

Have you tried uninstalling both and reboot the machine

Also, what kind of mouse do you use? What is a mouse PS2 (mouse standard 6-pin) or use a USB mouse. ?

  • Mouse click taken single as a double click.

I have problems with my mouse. Whenever I click on an icon to select it, or drag, the click is used a double click and double click seems to sometimes act as four simultaneous simple clicks. I'm not able to use anything properly because of this. Assuming this is the problem with the old mouse, I bought a new one, but found no use. It includes the same way. All folder options are perfectly fine. Double-click to open an item is checked.

Have you checked your speed "double-click on '?  Go to the control Panel\Mouse to test.
