• Compatibility of DAQmx windows8/windows7/windows xp

  Hello

  Do not know if it is a problem other people have noticed-, but I have an application that runs on windows 7/windos XP - who worked mainly outside of a few problems when some code necessary to recompile when it was moved.  Recently however we got a new computer running windows 8.1 - and installed labview on it – only to find that all the screws with daqmx measurement are now broken - because it does not find the screw OK for setting in place channels etc.

  I have all the correct modules installed and in principle he could fix the screw that is affected by the creation of a version of win 8 - but he should keep both versions in parallel - which sucks.

  Any thoughts?  I can force it to be smarter where it looks like - or reinstall it so he moved to the right place?

  There should be no compatibility issues between Windows and LabVIEW 2013 8.1, it's the same combination that I use myself on my personal computer. The first step that I recommend is DAQmx resettlement. You can remove this writing software from National Instruments in programs and features in Control Panel. I do not know which version you are using at the moment (it might be helpful to know if you can find), but you can download the latest version of our website

  When I try to launch the HP Solution Center, get the error like - "HP Solution Center cannot work because your device installation is not complete. Please connect the USB cable or re-run the Setup program from the installation to a network installation CD. "If it does not complete the installation, or you do not have the CD, access the HP help files by clicking on the Start Menu.

  HP Solution Center worked very well with Windows8. Windows updates updated Windows8.1 and Solution Center stopped Frank.

  Any suggestions to fix this? What is the Windows8.1 question upgraded or because of something else?

  First of all, make sure that your computer is compatible with Windows7 to http://windows-7-upgrade-advisor.en.softonic.com/.  I, for example, can't be upgraded because of many devices that are not compatible (too many to simply be affected most upgraded).

• Remote access under Vista Home Premium computer

  All the instructions I've seen for remote access to my computer layout calls for a different Version of Windows. I find it a bit of a rip off. At the time where the user had a little more control of his machine, if he had the guts to try, you could always find a workaround or solution to another way to accomplish the task.

  I wonder: is there a fix for this problem?

  I am taking my current office in the Brazil and by setting up there. I wish I can access it from the United States and the thought that I could put in place so I could do. But I don't want to upgrade to another version of windows on it. I'll try to access using a laptop running Windows 7. can someone help me with this problem?

  It is a Forum of Vista.  To Windows7 questions, you need to republish your question in the Forums Widows7: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/windows7 where someone who specializes in issues of Windows7 and procedures will be more than happy to help you with your problem.  It is possible that your computer in the States works under Vista, but the computer controlling the process is the initiating access and that is why you need to post on the forums of Windows7 (although you will certainly also have to make some changes to your computer in the States to allow remote access works correctly).

• Backup/Restore restores all of the files in the backup

  Help?!?

  My HD died a few days before. I have installed a new, duly would fdisk and formatted and anxious to get rebuilt. I freshly installed W7 Ultimate and restored from a previous backup set. I had been religiously full backup of data and images of the system.

  When I restore (I think) all my data down loaded, however I have an error log will be a large number of filesthat has been omitted. None of my apps were also downloaded and incorporated into my new installation of W7.

  Is this a permissions problem? and if yes how I overcome?

  This is because it is formatted with some file systems that includes your DVR.

  Don't forget when you the connected to the dish DVR?  It probably went something like this:

  Step 1

  Connect the external hard drive to a source of electrical energy.

  Step 2

  Turn on the TV RECORDER and flat.

  Step 3

  Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port on the back of the RECORDER from dish. Plug the other end of this cable into the USB port on the external hard drive. The DVR will recognize the new device and displays a message on the TV screen showing "USB storage must be reformatted to support the functionality of Dish Network."

  See that last part?  * Poof * will computer compatibility no doubt some additional efforts.  This isn't a Microsoft, Windows7, question etc.

  Run hardware dignostic tests, when you leave the test it says "looks like your computer is not good judgment. "can't access advaced startup options" and your done.u can refresh or reset and other options are there.

  Your laptop came with WIN7 64-BIT HOME PREMIUM. It is the recovery image made by Toshiba for your laptop model.
  This version preinstalled with license key valid and should NOT be enabled.

  Please read s operating manuals and create DVDs of recovery that you can use in the future, if something goes wrong with the preinstalled version.

  You can use this recovery DVD several times and each time your Windows 7 Home premium will be activated.

  What I suggest you do is download Windows 8 and create a bootable on a Flash DRIVE or DVD you can do an offline installation. Although the wizard upgrade of Windows 8 is the first download before to actually copy the files.

  You can uninstall the proposed components that affect the download installation files.

  It can be frustrating at first.

  It will take some getting used to because there is no start menu and things are a little different!

  It's like 2 operating systems in one now with the classic and the metro. I probably use Classic most of the time.

  One of the first apps I did was stop app. Now, it is an application with a single click instead of going research.

  Win + I and power then, and then stop...

  I'm not to slide my finger across my laptop screen or as dig to find things. I like the feature of the contextual click of Win7.

  When I upgraded to Win7 for Win8, I can no longer connect to wireless internet.  The network I was logged on Win7 is always displayed.  I can't get to the part where I type in a security code for the network.  I went through all shooters wrong and still cannot connect wirelessly.

  on Windows7, I try to install siebel tools. Here are my steps, I can't spend the 6 step in Oracle Universal Installer!

  (1) run the program C:\Siebel_Install_Image\8.1.1.0\Windows\Client\Siebel_Tools\Disk1\install\oui.exe as administrator

  with compatibiliy "windows xp (service Pack 3).

  (2) select the product to install: "Siebel Business Tools 8.1.1.0.0 Development.

  (3) choose the display standard repertoire:

  Name: "OraClient11g_home1."

  Path: "C:\Progs\Oracle\Client\11gR2\Base\Home".

  (4) all requirement checks are successful

  (5) choose the language "English".

  (6) ' Siebel-database - server, please choose the database for Siebel Tools. "

  No options are displayed

  If I press "Continue", I get an error saying window popup:

  "Bei der Einstellung von ServerDatabaseIndex ist ein Laufzeitfehler aufgetreten. -1 "

  should be something like
