  Yes, Mac computers do not run .exe files. The installer or executable files for Mac have the .dmg file extension.

  Step 1:

  Log in to your admin account and ry performing System Restore in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

  Select the option hidden files and folders.

  Open the c: drive and locate the folder named Program Data.  (will be hidden by default)

  Navigate to c: drive > Program Data > Adobe.

  Open the Adobe folder and locate the folder named SLStore and rename it to SLStore-old

  Once you had renamed SLStore folder, follow these steps:

  Go to C: > Program (x 86) > common files> Adobe.

  Open the Adobe folder and locate the folder named SLCache.

  Open the SLCache folder and move all its contents to the backup on the desktop folder.

  Then try to launch Lightroom cc 2015 in menu tab App App creative cloud.

  What do you mean with the banner of Toshiba? Did you mean the Toshiba splash screen that appears at the begging of the boot?

  Equium M40X successfully passed this screen?

  If the laptop is unable to switch to the home Toshiba screen then I presume that the BIOS has detected a hardware problem.
  In this case primarily the motherboard fails

  But if the laptop is able to spend the Toshiba start screen, the motherboard must be ok and only a 3rd device malfunction as HARD drive could cause this problem.
