  I just upgraded a HP Proliant BL490c G6 of ESXi 4.1.0 to ESXi 5.0 U2. The host started OK but did not find the network interface cards.   The host uses HP Virtual Connect for networking.

  VirtualConnect firmware is version 3.15

  Can someone tell me what is wrong and how to fix it?

  You must start the server blades with the "HP for ProLiant Service Pack CD" to update the firmware of the NETWORK adapter.

  Online firmware updates are also possible (using "Smart Components"), but unfortunately not for the network adapters.

Channel change has nothing as other users are evenly distributed between the channels. The only salvation that I might have is to be able to jump to 5 GHz. As my current card can not read the 5 GHz, I wonder if I can replace the card with Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160. If I am not mistaken, this module is compatible with my laptop according to the maintenance and Service of Guide. If my assumption is wrong, what are my options so that I can enjoy (hopefully) connection of 5 GHz? I use a double router broadband Linksys E4200.

  I would recommend 6235 Intel or 7260AC instead of the 3160. These chips are not listed in the manual, but should work on the laptop as the allow list is no longer there.

  I've had my laptop for a year or so now, working fine until recently. I noticed that my adapter has begun to make a sort of pulsating squeal noise, now it does not power the laptop at all, no lights, nothing. All I get is an annoying squeal.

  I unplugged the laptop to see if it was the power adapter or the laptop and he continued to scream so I can exclude the laptop. Is this to say that I need a new adapter or could the card be defective? I tried different outlets with the same result.

  Has anyone else had these issues?

  Maybe the power adapter is dead and you need a new.
  But understand that it very difficult to tell exactly what evil without any control of the laptop
  In any case try to plug a compatible AC adapter and check if the laptop turns on.

• Several Powerline adapters

  I have 2 pairs of these model powerline adapters. I'm trying to get them all on the same network so I a have a main powerline adapter into the modem and the other 3 are around the House (one on the floor, a staircase and an extra one for another room). When I try to pair them up to the same network. That the modem will disconnect one upstairs, then pair than downstairs. I continued to try this several times but keep coming up with the same result. the adapters are able to be combined in total on the same network?

  I put in the same room and they were all synchronized upward after about 3 tries, thanks, it works!

  I just changed my laptop after about a year of sitting in the corner, and the AC worked for about 10 minutes later when I disconnected and reconnected it elsewhere it has stopped working (of course I made sure it wasn't the plug, I plugged it in!)

  Is there anyway to get the Powerline AV devices to work when they are under a mains individual ring. They seem to not work in my house, which has 3 main circuits of the ring. They work on the same ring, but not when divided into several circuits.

  Powerline adapter will only work on the single circuit not with split on several circuits.

  Those are the only ones that work through the white list of BIOS HP who used on all laptop computers until recently.

  You don't have to buy the card of HP, but you have to buy one with the part number listed in the service manual, or it won't work.

  Your best bet would be to get one on eBay by questioning by the HP part number.
