  This isn't enough information.  What is the exact message and any word to Word with all the codes?  How it was received (a pop-up, aredirect, an e-mail (if so, what he want/say - leaving out personal information about you)?)  What were you doing when it was received?  Do you know what program sent you him?  What operating system?  What browser and version?  What security programs (names and versions of all of them?  The message say?  When it seemed (start-up or during work)?

It's a real pleasure once you know what you're doing, but it will take a few months before you really understand how to use it - and it'll take a lifetime to master. It is a very powerful program, and as such, it has a steep learning curve.

• I'm organizing the LR4 lib for the 1st time

  I installed LR4.  When installing, it creates a Lightroom folder in my pictures folder (I have an iMac).  Also inside the images folder is a folder that I created called Mike LR pictures (I'm trying to follow the Kelby book).  In my "of Mike LR Photos" folder, I created a subfolder of practice and I was importing photos from my camera in there.  LR seems to have automatically created a folder of 2013 inside my practice folder and it is separated in the 2013 folder (created by LR) file for each of the 5 days I've been making and importing images.  Everything looks as it should in LR so at least LR know where my photos.  My question has to do with the 2 files generated in the folder LR LR:

  Lightroom4 catalog preview.lrdata

  Lightroom4 catalog.lrcat

  I leave these two files where they are in the folder LR?  There are no other files or photos in this folder.  Or should I "drag" them in LR Photos folder of my Mike where I store all of my photos?  I'm confused myself here, then you're probably very confused!  Bottom line, is that I have two and only two folders in my file photo of iMac: a Lightroom and the other LR Photos of Mike.  Soon I want to create a backup on an external hard drive, but I want to assure you that my LR library is organized as it should be the first.  I've read many warnings about to separate the catalog files and lrdata in the photos.

  Now I would suggest you do something else immediately: Configure Lr for the backup of the catalog.

  In the library Module, will > edit > catalog settings > general tab. In the small window, select and click on .

  The next time that Lr closes, the backup dialog box will. You can select a location for your backup of the catalog - an external hard drive would be an excellent choice.

  You also have the possibility of or to make the backup. The optimization of the catalog and preview is included in the backup. This will keep both in good shape, while Lr will be no problem to open and work effectively with them.

  Please note: this backup of the catalog, not photos. There is no provision in Lr for photo backup, you must do this in your operating system.

  Lr beginners sometimes make havoc with the catalog. In such a case, a backup is handy!

  Can clarify you what your question is? You describe a situation, but there doesn't seem to be a problem. If you want to get the key to recovery for more information, you can go to the tab sync in the Options window and select "Key recovery" in the fall of my account in the menu Manager drop-down.

  Paris - I had finally everything was installed on my own. I uninstalled all my old Creative Suite programs and restarted my computer. Then, I disabled my firewall, spam and scan functions in my software McCafee. After that, I was able to download all the applications successfully. I don't know if this helps, but good luck.
