  Hello!

  My blackberry Storm is an indicator of the home screen which seems related to the AppWorld. It is a circle with an arrow towards the lower left with a red asterisk. While itself is not a problem, the witness had a 7 next to him. When I checked the appworld, he says that there are 7 updates. I've updated the applications, but the indicator does not disappear!

  I checked the apps again, and two apps indicated that there is additional updates. When I updated the apps (Bloomberg and where), the indicator rose from 7 to 9 list list!

  You do very well... the icon shows updates. Sometimes a developer will publish cumulative updates, so that only one is necessary. Others are going out of the incremental updates, and if you're far behind, you may need to update the app even several times. Just keep the MyWorld control until that none show they have an update available more.

  However, that won't get rid of the Update icon! In Messages (somewhere), there are new messages from AppWorld you need to find and remove... they determine that the icon and it will not disappear until you deal with the messages.

  First perform a battery pull reboot as this device on remove the battery for a min. then reinsert it wit back up what your device restarts. Then give it a try and see if it allows you to uninstall this application.

  If that does not start then your device on Safe Mode, while safe mode remove the theme of your device. Options of > device > application > remove it of there.after conducting another battery pull reboot.

  I use the bold 9900. I want to know how to check my application memory, because I have only 6 applications on my phone outside bbm, but my phone is still slow and sometimes it will hang and see the low application memory, delete some application.

  Know the memory application available from your device on your home screen to go to Options > device > storage > under the title of storage of applications please check free space =?

  If you get this message as you said on your message, try removing some applications options > device > application > locate and remove any unused application or not that you rarely use. It can help improve your memory of the application.

  I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

  3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

  3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

  4 AppWorld must close

  5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  However, things can be odd, depending on what you mean by "completely"? Several carriers push icons "teaser" to get you to install applications they're pushing. But the icon itself is not an application installed... rather just a shortcut to "tease" you to install the application. You can't stop these teaser icons.

  I had to replace my phone (Blackberry Curve 8530) a few days ago while I was trying to download some apps I had on my previous phone. But, when I try to download the applications, a message appears indicating "application unavailable for download from blackberry app world" I know is false.   For months, I was not able to update or download all the apps from Blackberry App World.  I have an id that's not the problem, I restarted my system I don't know how many times now, I tried to download them directly on the Blackberry site and none of them work.  I have several updates to my applications that I can't do so because of the error message that I receive.  I know that there is an update for Blackberry App World but I'm not able to get that either.  I sent 4 emails Blackberry support and received no response.  Can someone help me please?
