  SERVER SOLUTION:

  Acrobat is not for the server.

  The Acrobat SDK kit requires Acrobat.

  If your task can be done with Acrobat.

  I think what you want is PDF to Word conversion server-side. The Adobe product for this is (despite its name) Adobe LiveCycle PDF Generator. Note the name in full, and not just call LiveCycle, because it's a suite of different things.

  OFFICE SOLUTION:

  You can use the Acrobat Acrobat SDK to convert PDF files to Word as requires it. There is no API to be stored in the cloud, but of course you can record them and deliver the necessary copies. Acrobat SDK required; not the most obvious of the API but you would combine OLE and Acrobat JavaScript.

  Somehow, I downloaded and installed Adobe alleged DC update for the existing acrobat Reader installed on my laptop.

  DC app has been a disaster for me in terms of generation of convoluted navigation and extra work.

  In addition, I do NOT trust or want an application based on a cloud because of the deep and hard-learned risk, privacy and security, as well as the occasional loss of connectivity online and access, what urgent needs can get GROUND in terms of use of such an external cloud-based application.

  (1) you can simply save the file on your computer as allows you to save in the older version of the player, it is not necessary to register I your cloud of document.

  If you save the file to the document cloud, you will be able to access any system from anywhere.

  (2) If you still think earlier version users need, then they can probably uninstall the last being & reinstall the old version using this link http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

  File download option is currently not avialble on creative cloud. However, you can create a new folder on the cloud space and name it according to your need and download the file in the folder.

  Don't know what your problem is - log on to Skydrive and recover the files that you need them, or download the app to Skydrive and they will all be uploaded at the same time.

  Then go to https://cloud.acrobat.com/ where you can sign if necessary.

  I cannot download files to the creative cloud.

  They are just JPEGs. I was able to do 2 months ago, but now I can't. It lets me select the file and displays the status bar, but when it is complete nothing is downloaded. I even tried just drag n dropping the file... still the same thing.

  You still see this behavior? Try to clear the cache and cookies in your browser, but as you've tried multiple browsers and computers that can't help. If you still encounter a problem after that please email me your Adobe ID to [email protected].

  "Drive C"?  It's a Windows term.  So I assume you mean primary storage to your Mac.

  Anyway, looks like you want only two copies of your document in the cloud.  Why not simply duplicate the original document?  You do not have to tell us what software you use to create this document, but Apple products like Pages and preview have a file > duplicate menu item.  They give the file duplicated a slightly different name from the original that is displayed when you perform the action in double.

  Looks like you were using a different iTunes on that account the iPhone and now you UM wait to use another.  This is how it works if you try to use different accounts.
