  Download Firefox freezes Windows, not good. Here's the situation: I open Firefox, go to a web page that wants me to download a file (as a PDF file, but it does not matter), download the file and BOOM, windows freezes COMPLETELY.   I did a LOT of tests, and this only happens when I am attached to my Droid through "Wireless Tether" which is an ad - hoc connection. In addition, I don't have this problem with Chrome, is strictly a Firefox/Droid combination of attachment problem. I am running version 12 of Firefox.   No, it isn't. Firefox requires a phone with ARMv7 support. The Acer's Liquid E310 has support for ARMv6. US study do Firefox mobile phones ARMv6-compatible but you don't have time for that work to be done.

  Have you tried of going to "tools > Modules ' to remove this toolbar? The sound is like this toolbar may have been bundled with Firefox when you downloaded it. Is this true?   When you install Firefox 4, choose the custom installation option and change the install location of Firefox. You'll then 2 versions of Firefox are installed.

  First of all, go to http://www.avg.com/us-en/avg-rescue-cd-download and download the rescue CD. Follow the instructions to create the disc/usb. Then go to the web site of Firefox and download the installation files. Don't go to other sites to get the files.
  In Control Panel, choose to uninstall Firefox. Once the uninstall is complete, place AVG Rescue disk in the drive and restart, making sure that the PC boots to the CD/USB. Once the rescue is complete, restart and install Firefox. Make sure you have the latest version of the anti-virus software and firewall running. AVG, Norton and Panda is among the best. I had this problem when I clicked on the link for some antivirus England.It unnamed took over the system and would not let me do anything. I could only get them online by starting in safe mode with internet connection.
