  What system are you on? LR 5 does not work on anything other than Win 7 or 8 to win even if the beta ran on Vista and XP even. If you are not on the good OS, it would never work.

  1MAHADEVI you want to download files to install on your hard drive and not a DVD or a CD.  Once you have downloaded and installed the software certainly, you can back up the files on a DVD.  You are also right in this CD will not be sufficient to contain all of the installation files.

  It seems that the installation of the product is a failure, recommend:

  1. disable the firewall on your system

  2 - completely off to your security software

  3 - follow the steps listed in the following document: 49 error when downloading the applications of CC

  Woody, thanks for responding.  The downloaded file is 2.0.2 - fusion - 128865.dmg.part (note the part after the dmg).

  This means Safari (or whatever you use) got to download the file.

  The md5 sums do not match. The amount displayed in the terminal is bd5941b0fe9b45c5f0b4972c8a289c07, not even close.  I just keep trying to download until they do?

  Yes - if the md5 sum does not match, the likely disk image will not work (and even if it does, will probably be messed up)
