  I use Google Chrome on Windows Vista Edition Home Premium with service pack 2. When the automatic update for my drive iTunes attempted to update the latest version of the player (version 10) it would not be completed and now it won't install any version of the drive at all! I have contacted Apple and they told me to contact Microsoft, I tried all of it and reinstall by removing completely and I tried the MicrosoftFixit.

  Please try these steps:

  • Click on the lock to the left of the URL (https://drive.google.com/#my-drive).
  • Click on 'more information... ».
  • Click "Permissions".
  • In the section "activate the Plugins', search for 'Java (TM) Platform SE 7 U' and select 'allow '.
  • Close the "Page Info" window.
  • Follow "Transfer files through Google Drive (in one browser other than Chrome)" to https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2424368 once more.

  Let us know if that fixes the problem.
