  In internet explorer 8 when you download files, Windows usually saves in the downloads folder, which is located under your user name in the users folder on the drive where Windows is installed (for example, C:\users\your namepersonal).   4. Now in the window channel enter the path, where you want to save the files by default.
  5. Click theOK button.
  6. Restart the computer.

  Ininternet explore 9 beta , you can change the default location.

  Here's how:

  a. open internet explorer 9.

  b. click onTools , then select view downloads.

  c. downloads for window, clickOptions.

  d. now, enter the default download location and click on the OK button.

  Perform the following steps to change the location of the download folder, if you are using Internet Explorer 9.

  a. open Internet Explorer 9.

  b. click the gear icon in the upper right corner, then click on discovers downloads.

  NOTE: Alternatively, you can press CTRL + J instead.

  c. click the link Options .

  d. click on the Browse button.

  e. navigate to and select the folder you want IE9 to use as the default download location, and then click the button Select a folder .

  f. click on OK.

  g. click on Close.

  If you want to reduce the number of unnecessary files on your hard disk to free up disk space and help your computer run faster, use disk cleanup. It removes temporary files, empty the Recycle Bin, and removes a variety of file system and other items that you no longer need.

  Perform a Disk Cleanup and check if a space is done in the C drive.

  Go to desktop mode and open internet explore. Contact / click the icon 'speed' in the upper right corner, touch / click on "view downloads," then, in the lower right window which arises just should be the word "Options" in blue. Touch / click on "options" and another window will open where you can modify the default download location.

  I was wondering if someone can tell me PowerCLI 5.5 release 1 installation file. I need to install on Windows 2012 PowerCLI and as far as I know, this is the only version that supports Windows 2012. Unfortunately I can not find the download location for this tool, only the documentation for it. Any help would be appreciated.

  Thanks for your suggestion, I tried to install PowerCLI on different station and it worked, which confirmed that I have a problem with this particular system instead of the version of it.

  I was also able to successfully install PowerCLI 5.5 on designated server (it was important for me because it is the only physical server in the environment and I need virtual shutdown in case of power failure).

  The solution was easy, so I thought: I had to install all the updates from Windows Update since December of 2013 (that was the last time updates have been installed), after that (and the restart of the ofc) PowerCLI 5.5 installation went very well.

  Hi, I have DC software adobe reader on a Mac 10.10.4 and I download to my many notes to send pdf cases every day. Previously, before I upgraded they would simply appear on the desktop, I printed the and they disappeared immediately to my download folder. Bliss! Now they are all clutter my desk. How to go back in the download folder and not appear on the desktop as a PDF file after printing? Thank you very much!

  How do you download the files? Starting from a browser? If so, the download location is determined by the browser, no drive.

  Try to download photoshop. I'm told that I don't have enough space on the C drive that I am aware of. To set download location, I am unable to find it. My hard drive is partitioned into two, drive C to drive things essential E for everything, drive C does not have much space my E drive only.   By default, your Cloud Creative applications are installed in the folder Program Files (Windows) or in the Applications (Mac OS) folder.  You can change the default installation location, although this is generally not recommended. Open the Adobe Creative cloud application, and then click the gear on the top icon to the right of the window. Choose Preferences > Apps > installation location > change. Navigate to the location you want, and then click Open. Your new installation location will appear in the menu.

  Note: Shared resources and temporary files will be stored on your primary drive.  If a lack of disk space prevents installation then make sure you have enough space on the main drive for temporary files and installation files extracted to be placed. (see the link: download and install Adobe Creative cloud applications.)

  prefs.js alone cannot do what you want. You would need an addon with these characteristics "date" to actively change this pref Windows calendar-based. Try this addon and see how it works for you - don't use it myself.

  OK, so I have this app Vudu To Go (to the storage cloud that I can download and stream movies) and I know where they download who is a problem for most people.  They upload to the \Users\username\Library\Preferences\com.vudair.Downloader\Local Store\ (put a space between the Local and the store if there is a space in the name of the actual file or the terminal decline which? also I space my user name if this is my first and last name with a space between the two or do it in one word?)

  I want to upload them to a drive of Transcend I in the SD slot for card (used for extra storage).  I read somewhere a guy said that you can replace it with a symbolic link under Windows using the mklink command.  So my question is, if I want to redirect the location of downloading these movies to this external hard drive where they currently download to a mash of what I do? On my list of drives, this external hard drive is called simply "Transcend" and I created a folder called "Vudu" I want to upload to.  I tried:

  ln s sourcepath, destinationpath

  but I don't think it worked because I tried to download another movie and he's not going in the old folder.  If someone could give some tips on that would be great! Sorry if I posted this on the wrong forum, in which case you could direct me to the right pair, but I wanted to go somewhere where the people with the knowledge to answer reads.

  First of all, there is no guarantee that this will work. A symbolic link is usually as good as a file or a directory, but not always.

  For spaces in the paths on the command line, you can use-to escape the space or just to put everything in quotes. I suggest the following:

  First, you will need to remove (or remove) the directory exist with:

  "~/Library/Preferences/com.vudair.Downloader/Local shop" MV / tmp

  You can then create the symbolic link:

  ln-s/Volumes/Transcend/Vudu «~/Library/Preferences/com.vudair.Downloader/Local Store»
