  You can use the "On Firefox" button in preferences to check which version of Firefox you are using.

  If you try to access a web site that requires Firefox 3.6, you can try to install the Add-on "Can" and then go to the Firefox preferences and change the 'User Agent' option to 'desktop Firefox. This will make Firefox for Android pretending to be Firefox 3.6.

  (I guess I have to change registry to eventually replace OEM version with pirate version - it still would make it impossible to activate the automatic updates).
