I searched the Web sites to find the download of WOW64. I failed in my research and would like to know if there is a link that will allow me to download a copy of WOW64?

What program? Have you looked at a version update? Have you tried compatibility mode?
- Find the configuration file, right-click on it and select Properties
- Click the Compatibility tab and check "Run this program as an administrator" in the privilege level section
- Check "Run this program in compatibility mode" and select the operating system that you know that the program ran on without problems
- Apply the changes and OK to exit
- Run the configuration file.
- After that the program has installed, look for the office or the icon on the Start Menu, right click and select Properties
- Go to the Compatibility tab and check "Run this program as an administrator" in the privilege level section.
- Apply the change, OK to exit and then start the program from the icon
If it does not, the program evolve.

Thunderbird, extremely slow download, delete

When I connect via my HP laptop it says it is downloading 1 of 40 + emails from my server, the green bar is full, but it does not download emails?
Access the same email from my iphone and it works fine. I have not changed the settings, not made something different, but since yesterday, I had this problem.

Thanks for your reply. This is a POP3 account, disabling all my Norton anti-virus software components which seems to have fixed the problem, I now re-enabled the software and it still works very well! Thanks again.

This occurred shortly after I cleaned and removed many old emails. The reason why I did, is that the system was really slow download of messages.
Shortly after he'd say I had 300 messages download a random number. 1,50,200 etc then stops. Saying: no new messages.
My server provider is ATT Uverse. I checked the mail server, change to the last settings best suited for the field sbcglobal.net . Problem is still there.
I set up Outlook on my computer for the first time. Outlook works perfectly. Thunderbird does not work.
I first noticed problems a couple of weeks. At worse after you have cleaned the old emails end of last week.
I have compacted all folders and rebuilds the index. I tried safe mode worked a second time try same problem.
Stop MCaFee did not help ether

Firefox won't download a zip file
There is a chat Board that I belong, and they published a zip file. It looks like a white sheet of paper with a folded corner and said zip on it. When I put my cursor on it, this kind of moves upward and says so at the bottom, the name of the file and then the file. 260K zip, but I can't click on it so that it can download, save, open, reject, nothing.
I think I downloaded the zip files in the past, but for some reason some can't upload this one.

I was not familiar with the extension ModPlugin. It works on the site that has the problem? If so, could test you with the disabled extension? You can do this by restarting mode safe mode of Firefox, or manually in the page modules. Either:
- CTRL + SHIFT + a
- Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons
In the left column, click Extensions.
If this extension is not relevant for the site that has the problem, or if the problem persists after you disable it, can provide you a link to the site if someone could check it out?

It SAYS it works with any version of Windows, but it does not detail these versions (and I doubt that this is really true - probably, this does not work on versions really old and they may not be thought to test for 64 bit systems). I went on the site and test it myself but I don't have a 64 bit system (and I won't buy the package). It's a good question, so I had to look it up and the MSDN Microsoft says:
Visual Studio installs the 32-bit version of the appropriate Common Language Runtime (CLR) on an x 86 computer and the 32-bit version and the 64-bit version of the CLR on a 64-bit Windows computer. (Because Visual Studio is a 32-bit application when it is installed on a 64-bit system, it runs under WOW64.)
We have already understood on WOW64 some time ago:
The SysWOW64 folder (Windows on Windows) is where Windows keeps 32 bit copy of an application that may be required from time to time on your 64-bit system (files can be the same). It makes sense that there might be files with the same name there so if a 32-bit version of a file is needed for any reason where Windows can find it. There is no SysWOW64 folder on 32-bit systems.
If Visual Studio is still 32-bit but will work on a 64-bit in the SysWOW64 folder system - that is why you are still able to run 32-bit applications on a 64-bit system.

Acrobat Reader DC Adobe Download Manager hangs with a blank to invoke on Windows 7 window
I'm trying to install Acrobat Reader DC. My ultimate goal is to get PDFMaker COM component plug-in software for Office 2010 is installed as a side effect of the installation of Acrobat Reader DC. I found nothing in my research on the web indicating that it is a separate setup program, if someone please correct me if I'm wrong. But underneath I report a problem which may be the reason why I can't get PDFMaker installed:
I'm running on a Windows 7 computer. Control Panel displays:
The sequence of steps I did to see this problem:
- Uninstall all old versions of the player and all supplements com
- Run Firefox (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; RV:39.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/39.0)
- Sailed to Adobe Acrobat Reader DC install for all versions
- Uncheck the McAfee Security Scan Plus utility item.
- Click the install now button.
- Open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer!) and sailed on my download folder.
- Hovered over the readerdc_en_ha_install.exe file and I saw:
- Double clicked on the .exe file.
- Then I see the empty window with no control of the dialog, buttons text or anything:
- I tried several times and it is repeatable.
- I left that window open for a long time.
- This is not due to a problem with local network connectivity.
- I can download the installer large using the direct download link. But installation does not install the add-on from the PDFMaker COM (Control Panel not shown not in the section programs uninstall).

You will need to purchase Acrobat to use PDF Creator function in different applications like MS Word.

Mail is always "Download Messages".
I noticed that Apple Mail is always "Download Messages". This process will occur approximately every 10 minutes. This is usually between 250 and 270 messages. I have 4 email accounts in Mail, which are all Gmail accounts. I went through each account settings and made sure they are all handled in the same way and have the same options are checked.
