• I updated a page in Muse and realized that it was an older version of my web site. Can I export the site, edit the pages downloaded and opened upward in the Muse?

  I'm so frustrated! Whenever there is an update in Muse and I opened my site it converts it back up.  Tells me to save it as something else, etc... When I finally opened my website to work on it I have updated a page.  Then, after all, I noticed it was not the last one, I worked on because the homepage and other pages are all wrong. Rather than redo everything that I exported the site, put on a page I've finally updated and is there a way to recover Muse? Also, I'm moving a lot.  My site is in my creative cloud folder, so I can go from one computer to the other.  I also have a lot of 'conflict' with the site on my laptop and desktop.  How to spend it?  I think I might have to 'disconnect' each time of computers also is always true?  Thanks for anyone who can help out me.

  So that the file be sure you want to synchronize to creative cloud and down to your other computers/devices, you must close the file in Muse. If the file is opened in two different copies of Muse, you'll end up with warnings of 'conflict' of creative clouds and the file duplicates in your Cloud Files .muse creation folder. A single .muse file cannot be updated simultaneously by two different copies of Muse.

  I have a fairly extensive site. Had to change a price in the text. Choose "download only modified files. And Muse download everything. Every bit of text, page, pdf format, jpg, svg. EVERYTHING. And always, it takes to download. I have download error all the time. My God what a waste of time.

  Why Muse have this strange behavior? Why is that it ignores the "only changed files?

  Moving that a guide can support a situation we should special case, but today it is interpreted as a change to the page causing Muse to regenerate the .html, .css and the images on the page. Muse then checks the fingerprints for files generated against the fingerprints for the same files on the server. If they differ, the new files will be downloaded.

  If the previous attempt to download complete successfully and save the .muse file, the next time the .muse file opens and a minor modification is made only the files associated with the modification will be generated and only really different files on the server are downloaded.

  If an error occurs Mid-upload, Muse returns to the re-generation and re - download everything, until a successful upload occurs.

  As mac_heibu says, Muse will regenerate all the files any time that muse has been updated since the previous download, due to changes in the generated code, image compression, file naming, etc.. It will then download only the files that are different from those previously downloaded.

  Looks like you're convinced that none of the foregoing explains behavior you see. It would be useful to be able to work with a copy of your .muse file to see if we can reproduce the generation of excessive file or download.   I'm an optimization consultant and one of my clients built their website using Adobe Muse.  I'm not familiar with it and need a little help.  I added a few things (IE: tools for webmasters, analytic, etc.) via the file manager in the hosting control panel.  However, when my client makes changes and post its modified files they replace obviously what I've done. I told him just to download the live version of the site, but he doesn't know how to do.  I don't have the software installed, I can't find the tutorials to send him.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  What I read, I'll probably have to send each change to make.   Unfortunately, we cannot download live version and import in Muse. You must make changes to the end of the Muse and then update the site.

  When you save your SVG chart, be sure to check the option to embed images. Otherwise, images will appear in the SVG as a link to a separate file and link-outs when you download the SVG.

  The only way I see that this would be possible through the use of JS that you can insert by using the object-> the option Insert HTML code, you can retrieve the XML to the HTML from here - http://www.w3schools.com/xml/xml_to_html.asp

  In order to check this, simply download the sample XML file from the following location - http://www.w3schools.com/xml/cd_catalog.xml and save it somewhere locally. Now to add this file to your Muse project using the file-> add files to the download option, then it appears in the active panel.

  Add the code to your page and update the path that references the file cd_catalog.xml to assets/cd_catalog.xml. Now on the preview of the page in the browser, you should see the HTML populated from the XML.

  You will need FTP connection information to the server identification and passwords to GET the files from the site and assets from the web server.  Then use Dreamweaver or a 3rd party FTP Client like Filezilla to download the files from the site to your local hard drive.

  Use any HTML editor, you are more comfortable - that is to say Dreamweaver or media - change the HTML and CSS code.

  Unfortunately Adobe Muse can only access files with the .muse extension when you use file > open site. You can open and edit files native .muse only.

  Muse can not open files such as HTML, CSS, JS and allow you to change them.

  425 is the error that you have been doing all along? That looks like a firewall or router problem or a server side hosting configuration problem.

  Please check the system requirements for Muse system requirements | Muse , if you are on a 32-bit system, it is possible to use the old version of Muse.

  I'm downloading a new site FTP of Muse on the former site of the FTP of Dreamweaver. It downloads fine, but the old pages of HTML in Dreamweaver are still on the site. Although not visible in a browser they are always picked up by the search engines. How can I go about removing the old HTML Dreamweaver pages?
