Download tab

I have a logitech mouse which has an additional button. I asigned this button to close the window active/software or a single firefox tab. However, when I try to option mouse usethis to close the Firefox download window it does not work.

I would like to know if the download tab is an add on or in firefox .exe file. If it's a .exe file, I can enter my mouse software software information so the mouse can work to close this window to Donwload.

Logitech mouse mx440
Windows 7
Firefox 4.0 /o/

Thanks for your time.

You can close this window via Ctrl + W (the same as closing a tab). So, if the mouse software allows you to specify the key sequence then try this.

This is the Download Manager Tweak. I was getting this problem from 2012-04-14 and have not either of the other two addons that suspected a_grush.

For me, the problem was * primarily * bypassed with DMT put the download tool in a tab instead of its own window or the sidebar. I even made a permanent app tab. The 'error' message still sometimes arises especially when you go to the downloads tab.

I have * some * worked around the bug when I experimented with the downloads tool in the sidebar. The false error always does appear quite often in this arrangement, especially if you try to interact with the sidebar, reloading for example a transfer failed, but much less often then when it was in it's own window, which caused the almost constant "errors." That said, the sidebar function is essentially useless anyway, because you can't see the full file name, nor any useful buttons, as the reload-this-download button.

To get rid of the message 'error' entirely, get rid of it entirely DMT.

For me, even the few dialogues pop up in the mode tab were too, and I've disinstalled DMT.

  • History, downloads, and the previous tabs dashed after re-booting

I looked at all the posts on this but none of the works proposed solutions. As long as I do not restart my computer, history and tabs are preserved. As soon as I reboot, everything (downloads, tabs, history) gets wiped out. This just started a few days ago, so the question is, what has changed? How to understand what triggered this problem?

Firefox does not to my knowledge, any other type of cleaning when you restart your computer compared to when you close and restart Firefox between Windows start.

If the problem is limited to restart Windows, I suspect that some external software might be involved. For example, a software that cleans up the personal data or software used for 'sandbox' to your browser so it cannot store the settings directly on the hard disk. Or the other of these sounds like potential factors on your system?

Do you know what the extension on the toolbar of IOBit Apps is for? A description in a search, I saw was some kind of adware. If that just recently shown, it could be that some "free" software that you have installed includes unexpected or unwanted components and can have an impact on Firefox. At least I suggest disabling this extension here:

Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

You might consider doing additional backups of your settings file. She captures the State of your file (places.sqlite) history/bookmarks and open tabs (sessionstore.js) only if necessary, you can restore them. According to what is delete these files, you will need to store them externally (for example, on a USB flash drive or cloud storage). These might help:

Malware can stop security to run programs.

Have you tried to use these programs in Mode safe mode with networking that I advised you of? :

'Advanced options boot (including safe mode).

"The Advanced Boot Options screen lets you start Windows in advanced troubleshooting mode. You can access the menu by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before starting Windows (press F8 at the rate of about once per second)"

    Also, follow this step:

Once in Safe Mode with network, download and run RKill before the scan with these programs.

RKill does NOT remove the malware; It stops the Malware process that gives you a chance to remove it with your security programs.

  • iOS 10 - only downloaded the music show

Hi all, it seems that the music app requires us to display our iTunes purchases. I don't like it and want to only my downloaded music to appear on the device.

I'm not ok with tapping the > downloaded tab every time I open the app. It must be a solution, so how can I fix this?

I would not have updated if I knew this feature would be strongly imposed. Thanks for your help.

in the application, go to albums lh corner (Library) and select 'Download Music' down to slide down.  This should give you now a new dropdown to select playlists, artists, songs, etc.   Now you should see only what you have downloaded.

I was going to check something another user and noticed all Mac OS x versions dating back to Lion are marked as "Downloaded" tab purchases despite having removed installers there are chandeliers. Any thoughts?

Never mind. I thought that if installers were removed from my iMac that they is marked as "Download". The installers have been saved on an external drive that the App Store can see apparently.

  • Where can I find my files downloaded in mozilla

    Cannot find the downloads tab

This will depend on your phone.

For phones with a menu button, which is part of the system controls (home, back and menu buttons). Press the menu key and select Tools, then select downloads.

For phones without button menu press the menu 3 point at the top right. Select tools and then select downloads.

If you want to manually navigate to your downloads you will need a 3rd party file manager. There are many applications that can do it, but I like the basic OI File manager

It is a feature of some modules focus on the download. If you do not want to reset Firefox, you will have to check their options and turn off the feature.

For example, if you use download Panel Tweaks, open the Add-ons Manager (press Ctrl + Shift + A), then the category of Extensions and click on the Options button next to his writing. On the page options, set on download start, open automatically: nothing of.

I tried to order a rental movie in ITunes. I don't see a hint showing that it is downloading. How can I tell?

What rent you on? On an iOS device, you should have a Downloads tab in the app Store in iTunes when items are downloaded, which will show you the progress; on iTunes from the computer when you download things, you will have an arrow at the top right of iTunes next to the search box, click on that to see your download progress
